Has an intriguing premise, a bunch of highschoolers trapped in a building and can’t leave lest they kill someone and succeed in eluding their classmates' suspicions Sounds exciting.
The character designs/personalities are pretty hit or miss. Some character designs are bland, sometimes to the point where you know who is going to die first, i.g. Maizono, Kirigiri, and Naegi (although Naegi is the main character, and usually they are used as a stand-in for the viewer, so I guess he can get a pass). A few of the character’s designs could be distracting as well, i.g. Oowada, and Hagakure. Some character designs lend themselves to
...
the character’s charming personality, i.g. Monokuma, Sakura, and Yamada. Where others are just good designs that fit with the characters and you could only find in Danganronpa, i.g. Fukawa, Ishimaru, Junko, and Monokuma. Like the designs, characters and their personalities are hit or miss as well. Some have traits and are three dimensional, i.g. Monokuma, Fukawa, Asahina, Togomi, etc. Whereas others don’t most notably, and unfortunately our two primary characters, Kirigiri and Naegi.
The best parts would have to be when the trial scenes are occuring, they’re the most intense scenes, and there is a lot of fast paced action going on. The show would have done good if it had more fast paced scenes, as the show conveys information in a more captivating way.
It’s weakest points are definitely its animation, and conveying of info, the animation is a bit stiff, and looks like they didn’t have too much of a budget. It can be a bit distracting. Though the execution scenes are definitely standouts as they have a very stylized artwork, which keeps you invested even with a lack of movement. With the conveying of information to the audience, it can feel like a drag sometimes, as there is nothing too interesting going on to keep your attention, like I said prior this show could benefit with more fast paced scenes. Also it can be quite hard to follow along with the evidence given at trial, I feel if the anime left more clues that the audience could pick up on these scenes could be better. As sometimes it feels that the characters put evidence out of their ass.
Overall, I have my problems with it, though I'm now kinda interested in the game it’s based on. It’s not for everyone, it’s pretty niche, but I would recommend you give it a try.

I heard of and began watching Watamote during a difficult time in my life. I could very much relate to Tomoko and her struggles with social anxiety, acceptance, and popularity, this is what initially drew me into the series.
I find the characters to be quite charming, Tomoko, Tomoki and Yu. All have stand out designs that match the characters’ personalities perfectly. I enjoy Tomoki and Tomoko’s realistic sibling relationship, it shows how you can be at each other's throats, but still care for each other. There are some really sweet family moments.
The intro song is a banger, the outro song is pretty good. The
...
intro I feel shows in musical form Tomoko’s pent up emotion and frustration about not being able to connect and express herself due to her issues. It’s a really genius way to use an intro.
I have heard some people have found the anime/series to be “cringey,” which yes, there are some moments that can be awkward. But I find that people who describe the show as cringe resemble Tomoko more than they would like to believe, and due to that they can’t watch it. Now that I have a better time with my own issues I can look at the situations Tomoko finds herself in, and my own past situations and laugh about the absurdity of them.
It’s refreshing to see social anxiety to be portrayed in such an accurate way, albeit sometimes exaggerated for comedic effect. As most anime/manga have a girl/guy who is just shy around their crush, but fine around everyone else and has no trouble fitting in, they will slap the “social anxiety” label on them without even knowing what it is. As someone who has struggled my entire life with social anxiety, and who has been diagnosed with Anxiety Disorder it was very meaningful at that time in my life to see things that I had struggled with be presented in such a relatable and realistic way.
I have only read a few volumes of the Watamote manga, but I plan to continue, as I hear Tomoko begins to grow as a person and come out of her shell more, so that’ll be exciting to see!

Chi's Sweet Home was the first manga I ever read, I didn't even know what manga was at that point, thought it was just a cute comic. Got hooked on the series and finished the entire series in a very short time, every time I finished a volume I was excited to go back to the library to get the next installment. Therefore, it has a very special place in my heart.
There is so much to enjoy about this series, it is simple and sweet. It's a story that follows a kitten who is adopted, and shows life through a cat's perspective. The characters are
...
very lovable and charming, the artwork is cute, but not obnoxiously so. Overall I really enjoyed reading it, and I like coming back to the series.
It is a great series to read if you want something short and sweet. It will definitely put a smile on your face.

I started reading Attack on Titan about a year ago, when chapter 121 came out, I have been a big fan ever since. It is a truly unique story with interesting characters and compelling themes. All 138 chapters are very good, and are some of the best story telling I have seen. Just ignore the final chapter, skip it for the love of all that is holy. It is a complete assassination of everything you love and hold dear. Read fan theories instead, they are much better

Eren, Historia and Mikasa's characters and

arcs are completely destroyed. Everyone's arc is, but these three have the most egregious writing sins committed against them. Eren ends up in one chapter being the most pathetic character in the series, committing horrific acts, and when questioned later on about it he says he can't remember why he did it just to name one major issue. Historia, you think she is going to be a very important character in the end, and may even have a romantic relationship with Eren, Isayama made their relationship important and made a lot of foreshadowing for nothing. She relegated to a background character. Mikasa is probably the worst, as her whole character past chapter 122 is just her obsessing over Eren. This is not a healthy relationship, and in the end she is miserable and would be better off dead.
