This is another fun anime for gamers. If you like to play MMOs you will find this anime very enjoable to watch.
The story is not the strongest here, but I did not find it too bad. Well made characters and a lot of comedy make it seriously fun to watch. It is a shame that this series is so short (only 10 episodes).
One of the things I am always looking for in anime are male characters that don't act like total losers. Kazuma is definately one of those well written male characters.

This review is based on 15 episodes that I watched.
I am very disappointed with this anime. It started of very good. Story was interesting, main character was likable and his personality seemed cool. I was thinking - finally anime with a really well written male character that is down to earth, funny and unlike male characters in many anime recently doesn't act like total loser. Unfortunately that changed fast. Few episodes into series main character becomes annoying, crying, losing his mind and making this anime totally unwatchable. Such a waste that anime that seemed so good in the beginning turned to be so bad.

God Eater is a pretty good anime. First it got really nice art style. Something between drawing and cgi, works very well and makes it enjoyable to watch.
Story is interesting. The world is under attack by creatures called Aragami. Humanity is on the edge of extinction. The only way to fight those monsters is by merging humans with Aragami to create God Eaters. What I liked about the anime is the fact that we get the whole story. Every episode brings some more details about what happened and how Aragami attacked humanity. That gives it more depth that just fights with no purpose. As far ... |
