Dororo (Anime) add
This has been one of the greatest shows I have every seen, and I'm sad that it's over.

Many shows lack a certain type of depth that Dororo has in spades, and most of it's most impactful moments aren't explained, they are shown. You would think that is the majority of cases in anime, but that just isn't so. Watching the characters grow, and feeling their struggle was something special.

The animation and character designs are gorgeous, and although I didn't like the OPs, the ending was so satisfying that I never skipped it once. That song just ties each episode up ...

Kenja no Mago (Anime) add
Preliminary (11/12 eps)
This show is not bashful about having an overpowered protagonist, and while we do know it can be done well because of shows like One Punch Man and Kenshin... that isn't the case here.

There is very little story, fight scenes are lazily done, music hints at depth that doesn't exist, and everything always goes Shin's way.

The story is weak and transparent, there is no world building, and all of the characters are shallow and pointless.

I can't justify putting more effort into my review than the writers did their show, so take what I've written for what it is.

Lost Song (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
I was able to predict the ENTIRE show on the opening alone. I didn't get it all right, enough that I was more than a little annoyed.

That being said, it was still fun to watch, and some of the music is great. I rewatched a few episodes just for the music. It is not really all that revolutionary in it's story. Like I said, it's something you could predict, however, it's more creative in it's delivery than many of the stories like it.

I'm not going to go much deeper, but I'll leave you with this, if you have ever felt ...

Preliminary (23/25 eps)
This is my first review. It has taken a lot of work to write, so thank you for reading.

The premise is great but it isn't strictly enforced, obviously worked around, doesn't make a lasting change in Naofumi, and doesn't provide clear motivations for many of the shows other characters, and isn't important in the long run.

It is still a show I would recommend, but I personally would be hard pressed to prioritize any subsequent seasons unless the rest of the offering falls short.

So, that's it short and sweet. Now the for the long form bit.

I'll start with the premise and why ...
