Both have the same director. Thus, the styles are extremely similar. The director's style is very unique and creative, adding a ton of fun to the characters and setting, using interesting camera angles and character interactions to make the show more exhilarating. (These are the only full series she's done thus far.)

Both are shounens where the main characters use supernatural abilities after their powers are awakened due to a certain event. Though, Hunter x Hunter makes the abilities much more complex.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya
|
Both are a dark twist on the concept of magical girls. Although Fate/Kaleid has much better animated fight scenes than Madoka, along with a better looking animation style, it's story doesn't meet the quality of Madoka's. Plus, in Madoka, the girls are forced to fight witches or else, and in Fate/Kaleid, she isn't forced to fight, she just chooses to. And Fate/Kaleid is bloodier.

Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara
|
Both are comedies that involve a main character in a normal high school setting who has to deal with a power that affects his relationships at school. Only the main character himself can actually hear/see the power given to him. Ore no Nounai is not serious whatsoever, but the story in Kanojo ga Flag gets serious from time to time, as the main character actually shows a sort of depression that he's adapted due to his power making his life harder for him.

Jormungand
|
While both series are almost completely different on their story's focus, both shows are about military-esque organizations who carry out missions. While Phantom focuses on Zwei trying to break away from his forced life of being a cold blooded assassin, Jormungand focuses on Koko's "adventures" of being a weapons dealer. Many of the fights in both series involve guns and military knives. Though Phantom has a more serious feel to it than Jormungand, since in Jormungand there's a good amount of humor at times while in Phantom there is not.

Date A Live
|
Both include a main character who, to save his own life and/or world, has to date unique girls and have them fall in love. They both also use strategies they learn from dating sims to cause these girls to fall in love with them. (Although in Date A Live, he's given instructions from his team with a small mic in his ear, in which they choose what to say according to dating sim scenarios.) The only major differences is that in Date A Live, the girls don't forget Shido after he gets them to fall in love with him, and in Kami nomi, they do. Plus Date A Live has a futuristic setting along with extremely dangerous girls while Kami nomi is just modern times.
