Cooking; one of the hardest genres to make out into an anime (just because animating food is a pain) - I thoroughly enjoyed Shokugeki no Soma. I feel like the story is one of a kind and I love the drama they pour in when the food is being critiqued by a certain person - I also follow the manga very closely, thus, explaining why the score for Story is not that great; the characters develop so much more in the manga which cant be captured in 24 episodes. Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus

Have always loved Kuroshitsuji, and the number of plot twists in the Book of Circus just seriously flipped me. I couldve never expected these unexpected turn of events, which makes the plot so much more interesting. Alot of thought has been put into each character - you can tell by the backstory and how they each react differently to the same events. Loved this, I can't wait for another to come out (I heard that Book of Murder may by coming out in October).

I have just started watching anime for about a year or so, and finished Kuroshitsuji quite a while back. This is by far my favourite anime, I felt like I knew the characters so well and the morals of the show were very fresh to me.
I started off watching shoujo romance anime, and then started watching darker themed animes like this one. I love the underlying storyline and backstory of the characters and how they came about to how they are now.
