It's an isekai with a very powerful mc, how often have we seen that? Don't let that turn you away, though, as it is perfectly executed. Not only that, but it is self assured in a way which is very refreshing for the isekai genre.
To describe it in one sentence, it is intentionally simplistic with an entertaining plot which maintains high interest. The characters are intentionally simplistic and shallow. This may sound like a bad thing, but it's not! The show know exactly what it wants to accomplish, and fulfills itself perfectly. The show is self assured, which is always a good thing to see.
