Now this is an anime worth trying out. At first I was skeptical but gave it a try. After the first two episodes I was in! The animation is amazing, the characters are well done with a good plot. Don't be fooled by the cute animation though, you're in for a big surprise. It's not all cute as you think because it will get intense later on. A great build up to it if I must say so. Plot twists you'll never see coming, some scenes that can be emotional. If you're skeptical of this anime, I recommend just watching the whole thing before coming ... to a final decision. Looks can be decieving.

I find this adaptation much more enjoyable than the first anime. It's made me love the characters more than I already do. It covers a lot of the manga the original did not. To me, it feels perfect to the manga and did it justice. It get right into the depths of the characters. The new animation is so crisp and clear. The only issue I have is the animators got lazy on the head portions, making them too big. But each episode just leave you wanting more! It may come off dull and rushed at first, but as it progresses it get intense and ... has a steady pace.

Even though the story is different from the game, it's very enjoyable. Sure some scene and episodes can come off boring, but it's really not bad. The characters are still amazing as their game counterparts, the new characters are enjoyable.

To me, this anime gives me something new and fresh from what I usually watch. It's got what you look for in a fantasy, action anime, maybe not everything but most of it. I highly recommend you give this a watch and give it at least half way through before knowing how you feel. That's how you'll get the full experience.
