It's sad how something that started out looking so promising became watching endless eight with slight variations to each episode.

What happens in every episode is as follows:

Takanashi likes something cute, like Taneshima, and goes into trance mode upon seeing it.
Inami resists punching guys, but punches Takanashi anyway.
Taneshima mispronounces Takanashi.
Kyouko sits there waiting for Yachiyo to serve her.
Yachiyo goes gaga over Kyouko, and complains to Satou, who has romantic feelings for Yachyo, and thus gets jealous.
Yachiyo draws her katana and threatens to cut anything that gets in the way of her and Kyouko.
Souma gets dirt on everyone and blackmails them to do his work.

It's been ages since I gave my last 10 pointer.

After the roller coaster ride of the poor second season, where we went though one important episode, then went through a really boring "Endless Eight" arc, and yet another poor "Sigh" arc, and the Haruhi-chan parody series, we had to wonder, what happened to the brilliance that took the anime world by storm? Well, fans of the series, time to rejoice. The Disappearance has practically erased all hatred I had for the series after 13 really bad episodes.

On the 17th of December, Haruhi decided to have a Christmas party on the 24th, and gave the SOS read more

Lemme start by saying a few things. To date, I have only given the score 1 to a "parody" of an anime, and the score 10 to only 5 anime. In other words, I am strict in my grading, but I do not bash even some of the worst anime I have seen. The fact is this got a 1 means it IS that bad.

I usually start my reviews by going though a brief background story. Sadly, I can't give a really good one because I haven't a damn clue what is going on. It starts out with an airship from Mars burning to crisps read more

Kobato. (Anime) add (All reviews)
Kobato is a girl of currently unknown origins whose job is to "heal" the hearts of the world around her. Every time she heals a heart, a candy-like gem called Confetto will appear in a glass bottle in which she carries around. When this glass bottle finally fills up, she will get her wish granted. Thus, the story of Kobato follows her attempts to find people to heal.

Oh boy... Where do I even begin. The whole storyline has been put out so slowly I've lost interest. Even as a major fan of slice of life and non-related episodic anime (in which my favourites include Hidamari read more

It's been a long while since I was active in the site.

Umineko is somewhat of an "sequel" to the fantastic Higurashi series, although with almost no link between the two except for possibly 2 characters (which I will neglect to name to prevent spoilers). In October 1986, a group of 18 people, including members of the Ushiromiya extended family and their servants, decided to hold a meeting in their island, Rokkenjima, with the purpose of discussing how the wealth of the family is to be distributed after the death of the current head, Kinzo. Unfortunately, after the arrival of the entire family, a storm traps read more

Essentially, Hidamari Sketch (as a whole) revolves around the lives of 4 art school students living at the Hidamari Apartments just across the school. The girls consist of 1st years Yuno, the shy, quiet girl who is often seen with her trademark X-shaped hairpins, and Miyako, the overly hyperactive and spontanious girl who appears to be an excellent artist despite her childish demenor, and 2nd years Hiro, who is an excellent cook, but can't stop worrying about her weight, and Sae, who excels in writing stories that even gets published in magazine, but has the tendancy to get nervous when asked about her "active" love read more

Before reading the rest of this review, please note that Aria is my number one favourite long-lasting series, and Aria the Origination is second in my favourite anime of all time. Yet, I gave this a rather average grading. It should also be noted this was written on my second viewing of the series.

Aria the OVA ~Arietta~ focus on a point of time when Akari begin fear that she isn't good enough for Alicia, and so decides to ask her why she selected her as her apprentice. Upon hearing this, Alicia decides to tell her about her past, before Akari joins the company.

The overall storyline read more

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Next Season~ is an alternate re-telling of the original KimiNozo, or Rumbling Hearts in English. Rather than choosing Mitsuki, like in the original, this 4 episode OVA follows the story where Takeyuki chooses to follow Haruka instead.

I can't say I loved the original storyline very much, but at least there were tear jerking moments, and very good drama scenes. In this re-telling, we see hardly exciting "drama", nor a real story to begin with. Almost like it's dragging out the storyline to last 4 episodes. I wouldn't say more as the storyline is so thin, any mention of anything would probably read more

10 years ago, Cross Yuki was rescued from an attack by a rogue vampire that got her whole family killed by Kuran Kaname, a noble vampire. Now, under the watchful eye of Chairman Cross, Yuki's foster father, both are students at the Cross Acedemy, where there's a Day Class for humans, and Night Class for vampires. There, Yuki, along with Kiryuu Zero, a childhood friend with a deep hatred for vampires, they attempt to prevent the secret of the vampires' identities from the student mass.

I was sorely disappointed with the anime. Hino Matsuri's manga version had a great story going for it, only for the read more

This is my first review, so hold up on the critics. :P

60 years after King Gilgamesh defeated the evil god Druaga, the tower that Druaga once resided in returns. The story follows rookie climber Jil, who got kicked out of his brother Neeba's team after failing miserably. Refusing to give up, he decides to look for new teams mates to again climb the tower to defeat Druaga and claim the prize for doing so, an artefact said to be able to grant any wish, the Blue Crystal Rod.

Making use of a legendary name of "Tower of Druaga", fans from that age and generation will be read more
