This is such a beautifully sad anime. People think Clannad is sad, but this! This is sadness at it's best!

Where to start. Okay so even at the end, the anime still leaves mystery, it has you wondering what happened and what was with the beginning of the anime.

Chise is shy and Shuji is shy and awkward, but they both like each other. So one day something happens to Chise and well she will never be the same again. Shuji is trying to continue to maintain a relationship with her even though for the most part she is MIA. Then an old flame came back into ... his life. And there is some irony there.

I think what confuses and shocks me is how one certain supporting character does not know what "Chise" is.

As the anime progresses you see a lot of the character become disconnected really, like they never knew each other at all. They just become strangers to each other it seems.

But it is a really great anime. I love it. Ten all around!

Eh it was good despite the ending. I enjoyed both characters. I did not like Haru when he......I think it was twice in the anime his actions towards Shizuku were highly disturbing, but you'll have to watch and see for yourself.

Despite those actions though, I did like Haru. I don't like how so very early on both of them were forcing love into the equation. I mean talk about moving fast, slow ya roll now!

I like that it was not the kind of anime where everyone else has issues and those issues brought the main character closer. This was not that kind of anime. And ... Haru did have a rival.

The anime is kind of like Maid Sama, the last six episode of that anime, just this anime had more episode and didn't cram the triangle in toward the end. So yeah it was a fairly good anime, not something I would really re-watch though.

Okay the story, the plot when I first read it it was something I knew I would like and for the most part I did like it. Yamato is my favorite and Mei she was kind of my favorite but her habit of listening to everyone around her when it came to Yamato was annoying.

They lacked some serious communication that she just took everyone for their word and ran with it, leaving Yamato confused as heck! I mean when hey were together and everything was nice and well in the world, the episode was good. But it just seemed like the sub plots per episode ... were always the same with a misunderstanding and miss communication. Someone always coming between them.

And the last episode just, well it's the reason the overall score is six.

My scoring is all over the place with this. I enjoyed the first season better which is weird because the second season is most of the time better than the first. But in this case it;s not.

I don't want to give away too much, but lets just say that there are not enough episode in this season. The ending is very rushed. Very! It's wrapped up as much as it can be.

Episode two up til like episode nine maybe, everything is at a stand still. A lot of waiting on both sides and a lot of chatter that gets the characters no where. It's pretty ... much just fillers And then the climax finally happens and it only last one and half episode as in the last two episodes.

There is a long awaited moment that Takuma and Tamaki fans have long waited for and then in my opinion at the end Takuma just fails me the way he acts with Tamaki. Huge disappointment.

But that is all I can say without giving too much away. Watch at your own risk.

Ten ten all around! I was so eager to write this review because I loved this season so much!

Well I finally got what I wanted! Romance! And bonding and development within the characters! I didn't see it the first season but this second season was the best and even though it only has ten episodes, I don't think it was rushed at all.

Aside from the romance, what I liked best was how the era and age was moving. You see the characters fighting with swords even in the age of guns and machine weaponry. I think their actual personalities were best whenever they ... were up against someone whose weapon was a gun because they were so hesitant and old fashion about the new era and the changes in weapons.

The only thing about the new era and the passing of time that I did not like was how the characters looked the same. Chizuru was narrating the story and often used dates and years and a lot of years have passed and yet it seemed like no one had aged or grew taller.Personalities were mainly developed here, I think the writers were just focused on that more.

This anime is different from other anime I have seen so far, it does remind me of Hiiro no Kakera, but it is very different in the fact that the main characters pass away one by one and by the time it got to I think, maybe the third character dying, you would already know who would be dying next ebcause everyone who walked away from Chizuru and Toshi all told Chizuru to take care of Toshi, pretty much hinting they were not going to be around to and possibly the knew she liked him.

So to sum everything up, the story is ten because of the passage of time and because of the realistic transition from one era to another.

The art was beautiful, it kind of me reminded me of The Story of Saiunkoku

The sound was great

The characters were outstanding with how they have changed since the first season and you really see how everyone now had gotten use to Chizuru, even if she only did fight once.

I enjoyed this all around and will most certainly be rewatching this again.

I just cannot get enough of the forming romance that happens through the episodes, that was the best part ever! It was so romantic and passionate and Chizuru had become really devoted even though she could not fight, she was a great support and helper to her friends and Toshi as best as she could be.

Well considering I have the game and the movie, a VHS and part two of season two, I'd say I did enjoy this anime quite a bit. Obviously I watched it because of Kurama and Hiei.

I'm pretty sure Keiko is the most annoying female character in this anime to anyone who watches it, but I could not stand the main character at all. Very skinny to say the least. His battles lasting more than two episodes which comes off as fillers to me. And it was just very boring to watch his fights so now when I rewatch, it is certain episodes.

But I would recommend ... this anime to anyone who likes action, fighting and adventure.

Honestly pathetic all around. Two episodes and there was no plot like they want you to believe. All this anime has going for it is the cute guys and that is it. I didn't see anything I would classify was yaoi related, but that's just me.

So I finally try this anime again after finding decent size subtitles. Anyways this anime was okay for the most part, I did find myself disappointed but it;s my fault for having the expectations I had. If you're looking to watch this anime for the romance then prepare to be disappointed because there is zero development as far as romance goes.

The summary of the story and the actual anime in my opinion did not match at all. A group of boys are looking for a doctor and happen to find his daughter and yet all they ever do is patrol the city ... and get random updates about whatever.

The characters for me were not what I expected. Obviously a story like this, you know who is the love interest to who, too bad, however, you don't see much bonding forming. There is maybe about two to three very light blushes on Chizuru's part and all Toshi and the boys ever remind her of is hat they will kill her for whatever reason.

One more thing that peeved me was the fact Chizuru was given a sword but apparently it's just for show as she never uses it and one and only time she actually pulls it out, she doesn't fight because the boys come just in time before she possibly loses anyways.

But all in all I'd give it a six in the overall and enjoyment department.

The only episodes I can bother to rewatch are the ones that aren't about the other girls. I honestly did not care about their problems at all. But apparently it was all family related for a reason. And even so Tomoya still could not get pass his daddy issues so what was the point?

I don't like Kyou or Tomoyo. I hate anime girls like them and honestly how can that be the best school in Japan when one girl practices violence on every guy she sees. and another can just skip class and cut up a book and a biker gang can come on campus ... after school hours?

No!

But the episodes that had more Nagisa and Tomoya moments in them are the ones I enjoyed.

I disliked the first season and it took me forever to even bother with the second and now I am like obsessed with it and have watched my favorite episodes to death over and over night after night!

I liked episode nine and up because to me the first half was just like the first season, all harem and helping people with their problems and once episode ten came around all those other characters became so irrelevant!

My biggest problem with this anime though was that even though they dated and got married.......where the hell were the damn kisses at? I mean like where were they?

So just ... because of that I just could not rate this a ten like so many others can. If I am watching a romance anime and the couple is dating and freaking married I had better see some kissing here and there!
