Her art is just too cute :] But yeah, I want to keep up with reading it and I'm looking forward to explore more of Chi and Yuu's daily life..

That's great, Feeling from Mountain and Water is short but intense in conveying feelings. I'm glad you liked it.

Have a good one too! Yeah, sorry I'm kinda hella late with replies this summer (& autumn).

Hey Gumanku, I'm glad you enjoyed Girls' Last Tour both manga and anime so much. The relationship of Yuu and Chi was so beautiful portrayed and their episodical atmospheric journey candy for the eyes.

And I'm glad you enjoyed Feeling from Mountain and Water. A wonderful work about letting go, companionship and just feeling.. :)

Sorry, I've kept you waiting for my reply so long. I can say, Kaijuu no Kodomo was a very wonderful experience. Daisuke Igarashi somehow captured the beauty of especially detailed natural and realistic drawings in combination with a very fascinating imagination through subtle symbolisms and testimonies/stories. I like how he portrays the characters and their perceptions even if they seem to be a bit distant in the beginning. The art reminds more of Inio Asano's detailed art style than of Ashinano's minimalistic art drawings. The story ideas and imagination is a bit similar to Urushibara's works yet Igarashi's ones tend to be very intense at times, don't really know how to explain but I think after I've read his shorts in Majo I can say he truly can create even quite horrifying stories. Though Kaijuu no Kodomo was somehow a beautiful mix of a slow paced character and story exploration.
I can easily recommend it too yoo because of the similarity to Urushibara's works and because of the exceptional art and world building.

Btw. Have fun with the sweet Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou and 3-gatsu no Lion..

I played a bit of Melee on emulators, but I’m more of a spectator. Though we also have similar tastes anyway :D
