Neon Genesis Evangelion: End Of Evangelion. This movie is one of those movies that affect you for life and make you feel unbelievably speechless.
I can’t really call it a sequel for the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion because its more of a remake for the ending. The anime ending seemed like thoughts floating all over the place. While the movie shows you why did the main 4 characters had these thoughts going on their heads.
The anime series started with Shinji Ikari who was forced to pilot an Evangelion to fight the evil Angels. So, if we consider that Shinji had suffered
...
a lot from all the psychological pressure during the series, how would he deal with a project that might end humanity? Think about it as a story of a mentally unstable hero. Excuse me, I mean HEROES! not only Shinji got extremely damaged after all that happened in the Series. Everyone was so tired and under all that pressure, what would they do? Would they just go hide and enjoy any guilty pleasures? or what exactly?
The series and movie animation were clearly on different levels. Take into consideration that the anime was out in 1995 while the movie aired in 1997.. the 2 years gap was more than enough for Hideaki Anno (writer and director) to surprise the world. This movie’s animation is a slap in the face of 2015’s animes that lack good and realistic fighting scenes (yes I’m talking about Tokyo Ghoul Root A).
What did I love the most? I mean.. it's twisted and dark, I can’t hate it. The 1000 times it took my breath away.. the million tears I shed.. the billion times it broke my heart. All the flashbacks and thoughts and the action was more than enough to leave a massive void in my life after watching it.
You will get introduced to the characters through the anime series. I liked how Shinji developed from being an annoying brat to something totally amazingly fucked up…… *coughs* I loved all the main characters honestly. ALL OF THEM... Anno knew fans hate perfect characters. That's why he showed us how each character is imperfect and realistic and messed up. But they all manage to get out of their comfort zones and try to sacrifice everything to save humanity. (Sounds cheesy but trust me it’s not like that).
The movie’s soundtrack? Man, that suicidal song Komm Süsser Tod (Come Sweet Death) is my favorite song... I listen to it all the time. I have the full soundtrack and I listen to it,*sigh* its just perfection.
This movie is a 10 out of 10.. the end of discussion. Go watch the series and the movie. Now. Please.
Favorite Character: Shinji Ikari and Misato Katsuragi.

This anime is about this good looking teenager called Yuu Otosaka who happened to have supernatural powers. He misused his powers and as a result, he had to join a group of teenagers (led by Nao Tomori) to find those who use their superpowers wrongly. And save them before scientists find them and experiment with them.
Story (10)
Anyways, the story itself was changing its direction with every episode. Although the first few episodes were fairly the same idea then it started getting more serious. Yet, still important for the story to actually go through all these changes to give the ending its meaning. One thing kept
...
on happening from the beginning which is… THE EXCITEMENT! I enjoyed this anime so much! They never failed in surprising me or making me cry or even laugh. It was super well made! The first thing I said to describe this show to my friend was “I haven’t been feeling this much excitement in too long.”
Cons? Well…… I think it's great but if the last 3 episodes weren’t too packed with stuff it would’ve been better. Like.. the last 3 episodes did what you would like to see in a whole season.. not even exaggerating. By the 12th episode, I thought its the ending. Right there. Until I realized there is one more episode to go. It wasn’t horrible but I would’ve loved more details and emotions……. and tears.
Character (4)
Characters, ugh too many characters in this anime which makes it hard for some main characters to actually develop. Let's just focus on the development of the main characters.
Nao and Misa had minor changes in their personalities by the end. While main characters like Takajou was the same from the beginning. He actually didn’t have so much to do, unfortunately. Yusa wasn’t really a useless main character but she wouldn’t be that important if not for Misa (Her sister). Ayumi (Yuu’s sister) was very important for the story but she didn’t get so much focus and her development was too small that you can even ignore it. Yuu, on the other hand, who is the main protagonist, was really shifting personalities and went from bad to good to better to worst to terrible to everything! He suffered the most, I’d say. The story was focused a lot on Yuu and Nao to the point where even more important characters to the story didn’t get much to do. Weird? Yes but I really was able to love every single character because each got to show what makes them lovable. You might think that this anime is full of cliché characters but well… at least you’ll enjoy the story cuz its an enjoyable cliché to some extent.
Shout out to Jun Maeda, creator of Angel Beats and Clannad. Who also happens to be the creator of Charlotte, and all our tears, broken hearts, and waves of laughter.
Jun Maeda, What's good?
Art (10)
Animation? Exactly as if you’re watching Angel Beats (That's why I brought it up lol). If you never watched it, then go what are you waiting for?
Charlotte had an amazing, amazing, AMAZING animation! I loved the colors, the eyes, the skies (it rhymes). It also had an amazing opening and closing that I don’t skip not for the music but only to enjoy the art. You see the 2015 advanced animation.
Soundtrack (10)
It was really beautiful. I didn’t really like the opening and closing but THEY WERE NOT BAD. They were fair. I just have a weird music taste. But honestly, the background music did a great job making me enjoy every and each emotion that the story made me feel. It was perfectly composed to fit right there. To be honest, the story, animation, and music were all in harmony.. a beautiful rhythm.
Enjoyment (10)
LOVED IT!!! But I have to mention.. some episodes might really hurt your soul... You might feel a hole in your heart for some time. imagine I had to feel the pain for a whole week until the next episode is out.. you guys (who haven’t watched it while it was airing) are lucky lol. Enjoy it and please let me know what you think about it.
Overall (9)
All in all, Charlotte was a great anime. Not suitable for everyone. yet, really entertaining. Yes has clichés but it was perfectly hidden till you actually take time to analyze it. (I didn’t realize till I started writing, honestly. although I am known to be a cliché alert person.) The amazing scenes and all the ups and downs were just amazingly put together.

Let me just begin with, this is my favorite anime of the year. You may or may not rely so much on a big fan's review. But I'm still writing it because Death Parade is actually worth it.
Story: (10)
The story is placed in the afterlife. Where a bartender gets guests every day in the bar he works in. And he has to serve them, right? After a glass of whatever drink they go with, he goes like "You cannot leave without playing a game.". If I was one of the guests I'd just want to find a way out of this. But if
...
there was no way out.....? what will I feel? How am I going to think? will I act aggressively or I'll hide and cry? who knows?
The story is not only all about this very unique, psychological, mysterious dark torture. It's about those working in the bar and their managers. the part where I'm saying that they are actual bartenders and have managers is not to spoil anything for you. You'll have to watch and enjoy every second of this unbelievably well-written story.
Every episode has the ability to somehow hit your soul in the core. Also, it will make you have so many thoughts about everything. You'll think why and what if and how... I personally felt that in my chest after every episode.
Not to forget to mention, this anime has a perfect story. And it's not relying on a manga. It's just like BAM there you have ultimate awesomeness. Something you haven't seen before and will never see again. Unless you re-watch Death Parade and it's movie Death Billiards. (definitely worth checking out by the way).
Art: (10)
I was first introduced to Death Parade, the first comment my friend said is to pay attention to is to the amazing artwork and animation. The art is so detailed and will have you falling in love with every single scene! I can talk about the perfect backgrounds and the amazing colors and how all of it falls in perfectly together with the well-done animation. In other words, if the story is not good enough for you (which is so unlikely.) the amazing art will just be enough for you, trust me on this one.
Advice: Only watch in 720px or higher. for your enjoyment.
Sound: (10)
I am one of those who always skip openings and endings. I just want to get straight to the episode. But, Death Parade had me listening all the time. I was telling my friends the other day: "The only anime that I cannot skip its opening is Death Parade.". And for some reason, I think the whole world agrees with me.
Also, the voice acting was well done! Oh my god! just listen to those strong emotions coming from the perfectly chosen voice actors. I only watched this in Japanese dub so I can only say that about it. I might give the English dub a try because I heard it is pretty good too.
Character: (9)
The main characters aren't the only ones you see a development in their characters. You see guests developing their personalities and emotions. Which leaves you with an unpredictable and hard to understand reactions sometimes. It doesn't only reflect on the show... but also in you. You will start to actually develop and judge yourself after each episode.
Back to characters, feelings, and how feelings affect you and change your way of thinking. How do those bartenders intake other's reactions and analyze them then judge?
Every character had its own solid character. You can tell what type of person this is, probably, from the first sight. It's all just so well done in my opinion. You see a lot of flashbacks and know more and more about every single character, and just, fall in love.
I honestly loved Decim. I loved how he developed through this anime. I really wanna see more of him.
Enjoyment: (10)
I really loved this anime so much. I enjoyed it so much that I planned on re-watching it already. (I'm writing this literally after I've watched the last episode.). Moreover, I am going to recommend this anime to anyone who likes to enjoy watching a psychological, mysterious dark anime, masterpiece!
Overall: (10)
I am in love with this anime. Every aspect of it. Every episode was something touching in its own way. It's a great balance between darkness and a little bit of happy light. You see feelings, thoughts, reactions, tears, and smiles. You see romance, action, drama, and comedy, all wrapped in one. It's a promised enjoyment and a lovely way to just feel something deep in your soul. On top of that, probably, it will change your life. A lovely emotional rollercoaster that might become your favorite.

Although many people disliked it. I personally love it so much, and here is way.
Story: (7)
A homeless girl met a guy who told her that she can live in his house. She finds out later that his house is a shrine and she's the new God of that shrine. She meets the two shrine spirits and then seals a contract with the familiar. So what else a normal girl should do after becoming a God? watch and you'll see.
The romance is the first reason why I fell in love with this series, and it's also what made me want to wait for the second
...
season, and watch the two OVAs too!
Art: (9)
I think the drawing was really great and well done! The colors were really comforting for the eyes. neither too dark nor too bright. the movement of the characters and the backgrounds were also beautiful.
Sound: (9)
The soundtrack and actors voices were just amazing! Especially the closing song. a a a a~ a a a a~ it's so catchy! I even caught myself listening to it many times. it's so beautiful and enjoyable.
Characters: (10)
Maybe here I'm being so different than everyone. I know many people disliked the characters. But to me, the characters were well written and developed. From the perspective of a person who's into astrology, I'd say, they were so realistically made. Especially for the familiar "Tomoe", keeping how did his character change from how he was in the past is why everyone is so excited to watch the next season. His character was very mysterious and cool and funny! The main character "Nanami" I loved how you can listen to all her thoughts and understand the way she felt and developed feelings and ideas.
Enjoyment: (10)
I enjoyed this anime so much. I enjoyed the story and the characters, both were very well done and it made me want more and more of this anime.
Overall: (10)
I really loved the whole thing so much. I have so many feelings and I felt involved in the story to the point where I fell in love with whatever "Nanami" fell in love with. Very exciting and funny. A great why to spend time. I think an anime is good if it made me get attached to the characters, and this is exactly what's going on.
