Hey man. Great to talk with you again. This might sound strange but I think I've gotten another flu-like illness again. Not as bad as last time but still sucks

Haven't seen Gintama S4 just yet but I have put it on the backburner to watch later. My attention has been drawn to other animu for the time being but I will be watching that and the second movie that came out. Anyways, glad to hear that you've been enjoying season four so much. That has me most interested to see it later

As for Chain-saw man, I'm looking forward to watching more of it. The first episode was great, very impressive and did a pretty good job of enhancing some aspects from the manga into new dimensions. I'm actually pretty much blind to Chain-saw man and what follows with it at the moment. I've only read the first volume before hearing that the anime was coming out and figured I would watch that instead (maybe I'm missing out on that one). I'll watch more episodes when enough of them come out to tide me over (thinking six in one sitting and six when the last half are available). Judging by the sheer amount of popularity and praise this series gets while also coming off as much grittier, edgier and unique in ways I wouldn't have expected from major anime outside of Jojo (but that's another huge discussion to have, I'm sure), I've got a lot to look forward to with watching it and I'd be happy to discuss it with you in future, perhaps

And as for that mention I gave for my favourite Gintama episodes a month back, I have a few others. Episode 34 and 35 were legendary, based and hilarious. Love how it starts with Shinpachi claiming that catgirls are per se and overrated but he ends up walking back on it entirely the minute he gets in a relationship with one. Was blown away and very amused with the internet cafe bit ("I'm a guy, you moron! Wallow in porn for the rest of your life" still gets me). I found it very hilarious when Shinpachi comes close to doing the deed with the girl and the whole monologue is how it will get the show cancelled. Gintama > Deadpool when it comes to breaking the fourth wall hahaha

Hahahahaha, not many people care bout my name but you did xD Thanks for asking! XD

Not a dumb question. I love Football but my name is rather based on a name of a cookie brand rather than the football club XD and no, I am not an Italian xD

Hahahaha thanks so much!

Hello again. Don't worry about replying late. I'm guilty now too. Anyway, thanks for the extensive reply. It's great to hear you finished it too and I'll be happy to share my favourite episodes

Episode 6: Pretty telling how much I came to admire so much of the show that it hooked me in this early. Enjoyed the standard, zany, humorous beginning at first with the old guy wanting to go see a girl idol the minute he breaks out of jail, Gintoki disparaging the otaku culture around idols only to then discover Shinpachi, who up until this point has been pretty reserved and typical 'straight-man' sober as a character is revealed to be a huge simp for this fanclub. Then it's later established why the old man cares about Terakado so much and I felt like it was a good way for them to establish what many of the Gintama storylines featuring these tertiary characters were going to be like

17: This episode established it's most prominent recurring villain with that of Takasugi in a pretty interesting way. I enjoyed the arc Gengai kinda went on with Takasugi stoking the anger he had against the current system over his son's death for Gintoki to then pull him back from it in the end. It emphasises that Takasugi is dangerous and conniving on his own but perhaps his truer power comes from the unease and the scars left on everyone after the barely resolved conflict of Edo and that he could detonate this very potent bomb that is their society easily. There was also something I appreciated in that Gintoki came off as though he could still reason with Takasugi throughout this episode before the Benizakura arc establishes Takasugi as a much more hostile threat than can be reasoned with

32: Hilarious and entertaining for much of this episode and the previous one. In hindsight, not sure if it served the show better or not to have the main character go through an amnesia arc so soon into it but what came of it was certainly good. Fore some reason, I got a real kick out of the main villain's motivation because it just seemed so absurd but oddly specific enough to feel more sympathetic. Wished he would have appeared a little more beyond a few intros/outros later but maybe sometimes less is more with certain characters

I would've replied sooner but I came down with the flu so I waited a couple of days. As for Little Nightmares, haven't played that one but it looks quite interesting. Art direction looks good. I'll add it to my Steam wishlist to remind me later

I'll talk about more episodes at a future date and what I took from them. For now, these were a few in order of release. Was glad to hear what you enjoyed and how similar some of them were with my experience. Hasegawa got some bangers in the later episodes of season 1 and through season 2

Yeah I enjoy when a director is really passionate and particular about the vision they craft, most of all with games I might even say. Thing is though, I've actually stopped binge-playing Elden Ring for a bit so now that wave of FromSoft hype has kinda petered for me. I might return, but I'm busy with tons of other things

Yeah I have. 1st season is definitely a lot of highs with few lows, thanks to its absurd comedy even when it has meh stories. 2nd season was definitely really funny and the town turf war arc with old guy was pretty good but it might be on the weakest arcs for me personally. the 3rd season, euchosen, felt very textbook shonen at the end. In a good way. They're really teasing Gin's backstory and the retribution of Takasugi and Kamui now (The eyepatch guy with the pipe and Kagura's evil brother) a lot more now which means its probably coming to a head very soon

I was going to depart briefly from the series but I might give it a shot sooner if people are really saying that it's the best one. Be it more backstory/villain arc stuff or more absurd comedy stuff, I can get behind it

Which were some of your favourite episodes of Gintama and why?

Oh and I think I'll watch that Nier Automata series when it comes out. I saw the initial teaser and while I'm not too excited, I'm curious at how they'll take it. Pretty sure the game's full story and theming only makes sense if you beat it more than once

Yeah FromSoft is pretty awesome. Dark Souls 1 is easily my favourite, Dark Souls 2 is a buggy mess, Bloodborne is great fun but some bosses are kind of crap, Dark Souls 3 is great, haven' played much of Sekiro really and Elden Ring is honestly really good fun. I'd definitely play all of them except 2 but they can get tough. Not exactly chill-out games but they can be rewarding

I like Fallout 4 but it has some issues. New Vegas has aged graphically, for sure, but I really love most of it. Pretty much rpg stuff at its finest with some decent fps stuff. Definitely worth buying the ultimate edition for

Gintama is easily the funniest anime I've ever seen. Anime tends to have a lot the same humour to it and I can see why it most people don't find them funny but Gintama is legendary in its humour! If you've seen some of those early Newgrounds or Youtube animated videos with millions of views, it's pretty much that style of humour but with Japanese references thrown in everywhere. Won't spoil that much if you're just starting it but it gets funnier the more you watch the characters and the more serious arcs get entertaining. Not sure if Gintoki or Katsura are my favourite

Fave games? Well, they're not anime-related. They're Bioshock, Dark Souls and Fallout New Vegas. I have a Steam account too. I look forward to chatting as well

Thanks for the good taste bit
