Yeah just realized I put the wrong episodes number in. You're right, but I still think the show is mediocre.

I might change my AoT score if the action compensates. If Eren dies, I might bump it up by one star. Hate that guy, lol. He is just a batshit crazy civilian-killer now. Gintama gets better and better. Lots of episodes, though. All the separate arcs help build up the characters and bonds. The final seasons are solid. The humour will not be everyone's cup of tea, as it is often vulgar. Humour divides a lot of viewers. I still own Yugioh cards (have a zombie deck... but I don't play anymore).

Glad you understand that even rubbish could get 10 so long as one enjoys it. AoT is mindless fun. There are pretty obvious flaws in almost every category. The characters, imo, are some of the worst out of many popular anime. A lot of reviewers are of the same view. The manga and the anime adaptation are sperate. In the anime, characters such as Levi and Mikasa barely changed. Connie and Jean are not core characters, imo. Mikasa, Armin and Eren are core characters. Armin is more mature and composed now, but he is till very much boring. If any of these characters were to die, I'd not flinch at all. That's poor. When someone like L or Ace died, you could feel the impact, but not here. AoT has got decent action and a fairly good story line. But lots of inconsistencies and poor characters drop the quality for me. Other viewers, like yourself, might be more forgiving. I am not so nice. Besides, my 7/10 is still a decent score.

Yes. It is strange when you give something 10 after 3 episodes. They are rushing to appear as the first reviewers. Quite stupid if you ask me. Sure, my 10s will also have subjectivity. I merely pointed out some valid flaws in AoT. The fanbase is obnoxious. Some say it is the greatest sociopolitical story ever made, which is laughable. When a teenager says something that ridiculous, you cannot help but laugh. Not like teenagers have even read that much or watched that much to make such a funny statement. If I took the fanbase into account, I would have dropped one more star. Terrible fans who worship the characters. Take Mikasa, for example. She is complete garbage, and it is hardly debatable. She is one of the main characters and has almost a cardboard-like personality. It has been so many seasons and she barely changed. Levi? Also. Cardboard.

Thanks for the feedback. Sure, there is no such thing as a perfect 10. There will always be some level of subjectivity. But those who gave this 10/10 after 3 episodes are just hardcore fans who are deluded. But some of the flaws I pointed out, including how absurd some of the fights have become, are valid. It is hardly debatable.
