It's been a while since I finished a manga, and dang, I'm glad to finish this one.
This is probably one of my anticipated Tuesday night reads. It's really fun to see this company's journey from just a small company to one of the most recognizable ones. I am glad it ended with such amazing notes that brought you back to the beginning of the series. Now I can't wait for season 2 of the anime. I know it's coming.
How did I find this?
It was literally the first manga I discovered when I first used the MangaPlus app.
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
Magical
...
girl in the workplace.
Idk if there was a concept like this before this series, but I've always known that the magical girl genre always shows the teenage girl as the hero and not the adults. If there were, this is my first exposure to an adult magical girl story, and I was there for it.
Platform
I've mentioned MangaPlus, but I believe it is also available on Bookwalker and Amazon Kindle. I'm not too sure.
Edit: I just saw the MAL page of this manga. Apparently, Manga Mirai, the new online book provider, has it too. So, you can buy it from there also.
The review;
Story/plot
A woman in search of a job for weeks ended up not getting any. Then she met with a magical girl, and that magical girl said she was worthy to be a magical girl. Hmm, I'm feeling deja vu here. (MHA)
And thus the story began, the woman, Kana Sakuragi, who thinks she is not worthy to be anything, suddenly gets a job at Magilumiere as a magical girl to save people's lives.
See! This is like one of the unique takes on the magical girl genre. I never even heard about an adult magical girl, let alone a magical girl job. That's a very interesting premise, right?
Illustration
Not too bad, but also not too insanely amazing. There were some scenes that went hard, but that was like one or two times. So, for that, I'm just going to give 2 thumbs up to the Illustrator. Well done, Yuu Aoki sensei, good job on the illustration.
Characters
Man, the characters in this manga go hard. Their arc is one of the most exciting things I've ever read. Like our beloved CEO, Shigemoto, I love this man so much. He's such a sweetheart, and I can relate to him so much.
Then, Manao. Man, this guy is a menace, but then when you finally read his motivation to be this evil guy, then you realize, man just wants to be noticed, but got shut down multiple times. If only he had been noticed, and someone had considered him to be a magical girl. He wouldn't become this evil. Such a tragic character. (And yes, I'm sorry for the spoiler. You already saw that I put a spoiler warning, so why did you read this?)
Proportions of the manga
This is a nitpick, so take it with a grain of salt. I hate it whenever they explain a scene, like the whole page just a wall of text. I needed to postpone reading it and read it when I woke up, so I would understand the context fully. My brain was about to shut down, but then suddenly, BAM! A wall of text.
Like I said, this is just a nitpick. It doesn't matter to people who read it in their afternoon or morning. It's just personal problems. 😂
Conclusion
The good
I am so happy to read this manga from the beginning to the end.
The bad
This is probably the only manga in this genre that I would find. Idk though. Maybe in the future there will be more.
Gratitude
Thanks, MangaPlus, for providing this manga to read for free. Though I have already become their deluxe member, I still want to thank them for providing this for people to read for free.
Overall 8.9/10
Would recommend, especially for people who want to read an adult magical girl story.

Man, what an anime. I have mentioned that I don't even like action/fantasy anymore, but I want to at least give them a chance, and I freaking love this. Despite the 3D CGI, I really love how the story is better than a lot of isekai. This might as well be the same score as "I'm Quitting Heroing", but because of the CGI, it's a letdown.
How did I find this?
OPENING! Holy moly, Mayu's really pop off. I've been a fan of Myth and Roid since the Overlord days. I know how Mayu, the singer of that band, was leaving the band, so seeing Mayu's solo
...
career, it feels so refreshing seeing her reach a lot of places. I'm in love.
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
Just the premise.
I never told you this was, but I love a possession story, especially when the written character and the MC/possesser were total opposites. For example, a princess who's so kind and elegant got possessed by an evil overlord, or vice versa. It's such a unique story, in my opinion, and this anime delivered on that kind of premise.
Platform
It's available on Aniplus Asia, Bahamut Anime Crazy for Taiwan, Bilibili Global, and Crunchyroll. But I use a new streaming service to watch this. I watched this on Laftel, a Korean-based streaming service. It's a new streaming service that, I believe, is not available outside asian. I might be wrong, I'm not too sure.
The review;
Plot/Story
Survive the death of the character, the one that the MC inhabits, by being a gamer.
Yeah, it's an isekai villainess, what do you expect? It's been done many times, and this one is the same. But I must say, they did a great job conveying a lot of elements into this anime that make me want to see more. No joke, this anime was never on my top watch-list, but when I saw it on Laftel, I immediately watched it through from the beginning to the end. It's just that enjoyable, at least for me.
Character
Very flat but very enjoyable. The MC girl doesn't give a fuck about anything that happened around her, which I love about her for that. But that's just about it for her, like I enjoy her with her male lead more than her alone. It's that bad. Hey, at least she is relatable to some degree.
The most unique character in here is just her male lead, like I said. Dude is doing a lot just for Yumeillia to notice him. It's so cute of him to do that.
OST/SFX
Hands down one of my top OP. I love it a lot. The ED is just meh. I like it, but not to the same degree as the OP.
The OST on the anime itself, I give 2 thumbs up.
Animation
Ahhh, animation. It was jarring, jarring wasn't it?
It's not the best, but it's still watchable. To that I say, watch the show with a big open arm. Just... brace yourself. Lol
Don't get me wrong, the 2D is still great, it's just the 3D that will throw you off completely.
VA
2 thumbs up. Nothing needs to be said.
The conclusion;
The good
I'm glad to check anime out. I'm happy.
The bad
I heard the anime and manga have different endings from the LN and WN. Do I have to see those now? Gosh, dang it dude. My readlist keeps on getting bigger and bigger.
Overall 6.7/10
I enjoy the show but not too sure if people would like it or not.

This! This is my kind of anime, I would love to watch more of.
Man, what a journey this is. I decided to wait for the whole thing to finish airing and binge-watch it because I can't just wait a week to see them do things, that's too much.
Just saying, if you love your life, this can heal you from depression. It's that good.
How did I find this?
YouTube. Through random music autoplay.
I heard the opening and immediately fell in love. Then I went and checked if the anime had aired. They were, but it's on that season. So, I had to wait it out before I
...
watched it. Lol
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
Just the premise alone already makes me want to watch this. I'm a sucker for Slice of Life genre, so this is a perfect anime for me.
Platform
It's available on Crunchyroll only. So, you know what that means for me. Yeeeer!
The review;
Plot/Story
Nothing. Just the daily life of five college students eating.
No, seriously, this is just one of those anime that you don't need to have to use your brain to understand the plot. That's why it's so good. You can easily watch this with your family.
Character
Man, I just love them all, even the side characters. And you know what's insane, the author behind the story was so good at making them so relatable. The characters aren't just one layer; it's like real life. That's the beauty of this type of anime; it shares similarities with real-life activity, and I love it.
OST/SFX
Top tier. Two thumbs up for me.
The OP and ED are so good. I sang along with the OP and banged my head to the ED.
Animation
PA Works normally has a good animation, and this anime does as well. I just love how their expression, the way they move, and it shows how PA Works cares about their IPs.
VA
Two thumbs up. I would give more if I had more.
The conclusion;
The good
I am so happy I can watch this anime. It's literally my kind of show.
The bad
They have a manga as well, so I, once again, had to postpone a lot of anime and manga just to have time and space for reading this manga. Lol
Overall, 8.3/10
Enjoyable with family or friends.

Well, well, well. What do we have here? An indie studio making a one-off story on YouTube? That was not expected.
No joke, this got recommended to me out of nowhere, and I'm glad I got to see it. I was late to the party, but alas, that's just the way it is.
This will be a brief review, as it's just one video/episode. I don't think I need to give my usual long-ass review over this short OVA.
The review;
I was pleasantly surprised! Within 20 minutes, they managed to cramp a story. Though it's not perfect, it was still interesting.
The general idea of the story is that
...
there is a universe that lived in harmony, but then exploded into 888 pieces. (Still can't believe that they used a slot machine win number for this. 😂)
Each piece was scattered around that universe, and they call it Gal-verse.
That was the basis of the story. I don't really want to spoil the character, but to give you a summary (with some spoilers), the characters in this 20-minute story were really weird. Lol
It felt like a mess. I'm not saying it was bad or anything, it's just that it's kind of forced. Like the Gal-verse literally only knew this one man for not even an hour, and she had already grown attached to him. Like, what?
She went as far as protecting him and his other people, trusting them 100% without hesitating to kill the other Gal-verse who are against the humans.
See, this is 20 minutes, that doesn't make sense, right? In the real world, we have to be that other Gal-verse. Why are you trusting a stranger you just met and not even spending time with them for a lot longer to have a bond with them before you sacrifice your life for them?
Anyway, that's that. So, let's move on.
The OST in this OVA was fire! I am in love. For an indie, they sure know how to pick their OST singer. I am giving Taku Takahashi and KAMIYA 2 thumbs up.
Animation-wise, this was well made. Like, down to the tee. They nailed the 90's anime feels and kept it to 100%. It was wild seeing anime in these days and age where the animation felt choppy but still fluid. Kudos guys. Definitely going to see more from you guys for a new project you guys work on.
And of course, I wouldn't forget about the VAs. They did an amazing job. 2 thumbs up.
Overall 7.8/100
Not too bad for a one of. It could be better, but still good nonetheless.

(This review contains heavy spoilers; proceed with full caution.)
Man, I can't believe what I just watched. I actually finished this anime twice now, just to have a conclusive mindset. It's remarkable what I've finally gathered from watching this anime.
And after that time, I finally understood that I essentially watched a man coping with his deceased wife. It is a wild ride for sure, and absolutely a great one.
How did I find this?
Through scrolling on Twitter/X. I found this out and immediately fell in love with Reiko. She is my kind of type. I love her design so much.
But funny enough, that's not the reason I
...
went into this anime.
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
I've said that I love Reiko's design, and it makes me want to watch it, but the real reason why I want to watch it is that they announced two projects: an anime and a live-action. I was like, "Why? Why do you need to make them?" Then I found an article that said, "The story will be concluded in one season, and to understand the story in depth, the live action will get you covered." I... I was shocked. They make it sound like both are as important as a whole.
I will surely check the live action just because of that statement.
Platform
The anime is available on Anione Asia's YouTube channel, but unfortunately, it is locked behind a paywall. I still watch it there, though, don't worry, I give Anione my full support.
It is also available on Bilibili Global, Crunchyroll, and Netflix.
The review;
Plot/Story
I have given you guys a warning in the beginning, so I'll be a full-blown storyteller mode here. Be prepare.
Okay, we'll start with the premise.
Throw away all romance... Yup, there is absolutely nothing screaming romance in this anime whatsoever. They baited you into thinking there would be romance by the title. Upon watching and finishing the anime, you will probably be left with an unfulfilling desire and so many questions.
This is why this anime is great. You literally have to focus on every single story bit from every angle. Learn from everyone's interaction, and pay attention to every detail that they left in each episode.
Just saying, you might want to watch this anime with a binge-watching style. I'm sure you would be frustrated that you forgot a detail from the last episode, and you expected a recap.
They don't do that here. You have to be on the edge of your seat to understand. Lock the fuck in.
I've mentioned that I essentially watched a man coping with his deceased wife. That's not wrong. It is really like that, but more into it. The story is set on a loop of summer in Kowloon, Hong Kong. A destroyed city, but somehow still standing in some people's eyes. The story also revolves around a clone of oneself and a machine capable of replicating things or people.
You see how complicated this story is? By that statement alone, how do you feel about going into this anime?
I don't want to tell the story further, but when you watch this, just keep these facts in mind.
Character
You follow a woman named Kujirai Reiko, who is questioning her existence in the world. She felt deja vu, but couldn't quite figure out what it was. Her story in this anime was quite fascinating, and her character development is amazing.
Then there is the man of misery, Hajime Kudo, the guy who lost his beloved just after they got married. But... the woman... of his life... looked just like Reiko. How?
Yeah, this is where you had to piece together a giant puzzle. Like, I get the premise, but I swear, man, the story was wild.
All characters in this anime are a driven plot device for both the MC, especially Miyuki Hebinuma. He is a person who has the least interaction with the MCs, yet his... her... You know what, I'm just going to call he/him/his. Yet his story tight sooooo much with the MCs. I am beyond flabbergasted. Gwen and Xiaohei are also very important to the plot, though they are felt like late bloomers, since they're important in the last arc of the anime.
Basically, what I'm saying the characters in this anime are all amazing in their own way, and it is nice that we got to see they're characteristics and daily life through the anime.
OST/SFX
It's so insane how the OP and ED felt so much like Chinese music. Kudos to the band that did the OP and ED. I love your work.
Even in the anime, you can hear the old-style Chinese SFX. The love and care that went into the music and song are magnificent. And I love every bit and piece about it.
Animation
This anime has animation that I haven't seen before, but when I check their records, they have made anime that I have watched before, which is "We Never Learn."
Huh, I guess Arvo Animation got upgraded, huh? But seriously, though, the animation and art direction on this anime are spectacular.
VA
I love them all, 2 thumbs up.
The conclusion;
The good
I'm glad I checked this anime out, it is worth it to watched it twice.
The bad
Now, I had to wait for the live action. 🙃
Gratitude
Thanks to Anione Asia for providing this anime on YouTube. Though it is a member-only anime, I'm still glad I can watch this with easy access.
Overall, 9.6/10
Very complex, but it is an easy-to-digest story once you watch the anime again.

When I saw the trailer for this anime, I knew I was in for a treat. And boy, let me tell you, they cook well, I am full from their meal. This is definitely my pick for anime of the season; if there's one, it's just that good.
How did I find this?
I stumbled upon it while scrolling through Twitter/X. I researched it by myself to see where I could watch it, and surprise-surprise, Anione Asia provides it for free.
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
Have you seen the trailer? Mate, my God, the girls' designs are so stylish and stunning. How can you skip
...
it? You can't.
Platform
I have mentioned Anione Asia. It is also on Bahamut Anime Crazy for Taiwan to watch, and HiDive. Kind of surprised that Netflix doesn't have this on their platform.
The review;
Plot/Story
The premise is thus! A ladylike girl who goes to a prestigious school and has to keep up her daily routine as a lady. No time to spare, no fooling around to do. All she has to do to become the elite among the elite is... well, act as a lady.
But what's the fun in that? Lilisa wasn't born in a wealthy family; she was a commoner whose mother remarried to a rich man. She has the blood of a rebellious girl; she wants to rock out. That's why in this series, she secretly rocks out with her fellow ladylike friends.
Now, I'll be honest, at first I was kind of disgusted at the premise. Why? I'm an Indonesian commoner, and of course, I feel like the premise just makes fun of me. But boy, I'm glad I checked this anime out because the story was so good, I went ahead and read the manga. It is one of those hidden gems that you should not miss out on.
Character
Man, I don't even know where I should start.
Lilisa? Otoha? Isemi? Shiraya?
Man, they are all so well-made characters. It is hard to just talk about one of them; all of them are so cool. Even their character arc were some of the most interesting stories among other anime in this season.
I hope they make 2nd season. I'm well aware that the manga doesn't have enough source to make a 2nd season yet, but one can hope, right?
OST/SFX
Both OP and ED are just magnificent. This one takes the win for the best OP and ED, no doubt in my mind.
Other than that, I give them 2 thumbs up for the OST/SFX for the actual anime itself. They are all well done.
Animation
You know what's crazy? I have watched an anime by this studio in the past, and no wonder their 3d actually good. Have you seen an anime called Brave Beats? The one that... I don't know the normal term for this. It's a... AP (Age Progression) music anime...
Yeah...
Basically, a kid has this chibi monster-looking thing, and they fuse. That fuse transforms the kid into an adult to battle the enemy, bear with me, with dancing.
And those dance sequences are animated with 3D, and I have to be honest here, they look amazing. The same goes for this anime. It is so gorgeous to watch.
Kudos to Bandai Namco Pictures. You outdone yourself and impressed me, once again.
VA
I'll be glazing this anime even more, dude. The girls' voice acting are so amazing, dude. Especially Isemi. Man, this girl just... You know, capture me. She is probably my favorite and also the cafe owner, Mariko. I am in love. I want them to do ASMR.
The conclusion;
The good
I'm glad I checked this anime out, it's so much fun to watch and read.
The bad
I might want to start finding more of these anime/manga, and making other anime/manga on my readlist has to be put on hold. Dang it, man. 😂
Gratitude
As always, thanks for providing us Asians to watch this anime for free, Anione Asia. You are the goat. Love you so much.
Overall, 8.7/10
Not the worst, not the best. But amazing nonetheless.

And the second season wraps up just as the first season did, which I like.
Let's just go straight to the review, then.
Before we start, please check my review for the first season. The first bits before the actual review won't be here.
The review;
This is the second season, so there won't be a lot to say other than some that is new, which includes animation (because it's a new studio that animates this) and story/plot.
Animation
I'd say the animators did a great job portraying the 1st season animation, though we can see some lack of animation, but it is still on par.
They did a great job, and
...
they should be proud of that.
Story/Plot
Not much change like the first season, though I have to say, this season they expanded the world even more. I actually disappointed that some of the people's names on the season are so lazy. Like, for example, the Egyptian people. What the heck, man? The name is so lame, but I guess I do understand what the author's attention was. It was supposed to be lazy because the leader herself is lazy.
There is also a thing that disappoints. The fight was soooooo fast, like episode 11. It felt like the goddess was not even as powerful as Asuza. Heck, felt like they were less powerful than her. It's so disappointing.
Overall, it's 7.6/10. Got to up it a bit from the 1st season because Beelzebub is in an idol costume. UWWWOOOOOOO

It's been a while since I watched this type of anime, so I indulge myself in this anime. Now, after watching this, it felt refreshing since it was a story-driven anime. I thought it would be one of those very over-the-top anime where the protagonists are as stupid as h*ll but somehow, someway, got b*tchies following him. But this guy felt like Sakuta from Bunny Girl Senpai, and I'm f*ck with those kinds of guy.
How did I find this?
CawcawTV.
Yup, a YouTuber, more specifically a reaction YouTuber.
I saw him watching this anime and got curious, turns out the anime was uploaded on the Anione Asia channel
...
on YouTube for free. So, I watched the anime along with him.
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
Do I have to say? Look at those girls, man. Their designs are magnificent, gorgeous, and beautiful.
But I was quickly realizing that the anime does not focus on building a harem, like other anime in the same genre as this anime. That's why I kept on going.
Platform
I have mentioned that this anime is uploaded for free on Anione Asia Channel on YouTube, but this anime also aired on other platforms such as Bahamut Anime Crazy (Taiwan), Bilibili Global, Crunchyroll, and Netflix.
The review;
Plot/Story
Simple. MC got banished from his party, and he grew as a person to... well, actually, he doesn't even want to get his revenge; he just wants to live normally. But then, things happen, and he basically felt like a side character among all the surrounding characters to grow.
The only thing that the MC wants is to live happily while running a clinic in the slum.
There is a bigger plot to this anime with how the MC is trying to find his master and how the big bad intervenes in his slow life, but I think that can be done... If there will be a season 2.
Character
While I said there isn't much about the MC, I felt like that's also wrong. My man reminds me of Kitamura Koe from Cross Game, Amane from Angel Next Door, and, ofc, Sakuta from Bunny Girl Senpai. He just doesn't give a f*ck, though he will give a f*ck whenever there is someone needs his healing power... for a price. Lol
Other than him, I don't see a lot of things going on with other characters. They grow, like I said, when they get corrected by the MC, but that's it.
Though I really want to say, Carmilla, she is one of, if not the best, narrator of anime of all time. This wraith is not only cute, but also so mischievous. Her little teasing of Zenos and narrating his... harem is so good at making me laugh. She is like my spirit animal now. Too bad she never possessed someone. I would really like it if the author had a story where Carmilla finally gets a body; that would be great.
OST/SFX
This is just... bad. The OP is a mess. I have never been so disappointed with an anime opening that makes me skip the OP completely. It's garbage. I hate the OP.
The ED, however, is godlike. It is so calming, and not to mention it is so unique because the ED shows every single character that appeared on the show and does a showcase of them doing their daily lives. It felt like they added a new layer of storytelling to the character we already know.
And the SFX of the anime itself, I'm just going to give 2 thumbs up like I always do.
Animation
It's 50/50. Sometimes it's great, other times it's bad. I think it would be better if the studio didn't do 2 anime at once in the season. This anime would be better if they were focusing on this anime only. I haven't seen the other one per se, but I can imagine it also has that up and down in the animation production.
VA
2 thumbs up.
Lol, yeah, that's it.
Conclusion
The good;
I'm glad to check this anime out. Very nice way to get back to this genre of anime.
The bad;
It is very unlikely this anime gets season 2, so I have to probably buy/pirate the manga or LN if I ever want to see a continuation.
Gratitude
Thanks to Anione Asia for providing this anime for free to view on YouTube. Your work is amazing, keep up the good work.
Overall 7.4/10. Would recommend.

I should've just dropped this, but I keep going. The reason is that I just want to see the ending, like literally, I heard that the story actually ties with the manga or something, and not the game, so as a curious person that I am. I dived in and watched it. I had fun watching it, don't give me wrong, I felt nostalgic in a way because the series takes the story absolutely not seriously, and the episodes themselves are episodic, like classic OLM series like Pokémon. The only serious parts are episode 9 to the end.
How did I find this?
This is the only
...
anime that I searched for in an article. Yup, that's right. I research it by myself and not through recommendations on YouTube or announcements from Twitter/X or browsing through MAL. I research it through Google search.
I was searching for a good JRPG one day and found out that Disgaea was one of the top games that the article suggested, so I went ahead and researched the game. Upon research, though, I found out that it had anime, so as a curious person that I am, I watched it.
Now, I actually have watched it in the past, but that was only barely finishing episode 2. The animation style didn't age well; it is hard to watch, but I had to... I had to because I'm a committed person. I don't just want to watch and hold it "on-hold". So, I finished it.
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
Etna and Flonne.
What? You have never seen a ±15-year-old who wanted to... with... angel and demon...
You know what I'm gonna stop right there. You know the point.
But that was way back. The 25-year-old me now just wanted to see the ending.
Platform
It's on Crunchyroll now. I don't know if there is another platform that provides it legally.
But me... no, not this anime. I actually traded this with a friend online back in the day. Idk if they get it illegally or legally, but yeah, I still had the folder of the anime, so I watched it from there.
The review;
Plot/Story
Simple, Laharl was buried for a long time, and he wants to be the ruler of the underworld. With the help of a demon and an angel, he tries to claim that title from his diseased father, the former demon lord.
But throughout the series, you quickly find out that they just walk it out and get sidetracked, just like Pokémon series. This is where my hate came in. I hate how Laharl, Etna, and Flonne could fly, but decided to walk. Then in the later episode, they asked the human hero party to take them for a ride to the demon lord's castle, like what?
And here is the dumb thing, and what makes me take this series not seriously at all. The series treats the hero party like Team Rocket from the Pokémon series. They got blasted every... single... episode, like every episode up to episode 9.
And the biggest turn-off, the ending, in my opinion, is mid. It doesn't feel like an ending at all, but that's just me, I guess, because what I recall from the article I read, they say the ending is satisfying. And to that I say, yeah... if you didn't include the part where Laharl "reincarnated" as Prinny.
I've said enough. This is going to be a rant if I keep going. 😅
Character
I actually love all characters. Despite the worst writing, I actually bond deeper with the characters. Because it's an episodic series where a problem is solved in one episode, and it focuses on one topic, it makes you bond with some of the new characters that they introduce.
Though not all can be said the same for the high angel. Now I know I will get heated by a certain group, but I'm so tired of seeing angels treated as an enemy in anime. I'm not pissed because how ridiculios of a concept that was because Tears to Tiara nailed the story perfectly about the angel being the bad guy. But here? No. Absolutely not. It felt like an attack because I'm Christian, I believe what I believe, and when I saw how Vulcanus acted as an angel, it... rubbed me in the wrong way. Yeah, let's just say that.
I'm still happy at the end, though. Lamington has the characteristics of an angel down to a tee.
OST/SFX
No doubt, the best of this anime. The OP and ED are, in my opinion, the goat. I mean, I can actually sing the lyrics. It's that good that I think you guys can sing it too. The SFX in the anime itself is also very good, not as great as the OP and ED, but still good.
Animation
I've touched on this at the start, so I'm just going to say, I hope it has a remake, because it is making me sick a little bit.
VA
Mate, Laharl, what are those laughs? Lol
I love how every time Laharl laughs, I actually try to laugh like him. It is so inviting, lol.
Other than him, I just give you all my 2 thumbs up. Good job, guys. You did great.
Conclusion
The good;
I've finally done and can give this series a rest... but not the game though. I need to catch up with the latest game.
The bad;
I think I might stumble upon more not well-aged animation on my journey to watch these old anime. Oh boy.
Overall, I don't really recommend this anime, but if you're interested, go ahead and watch it. But what I mean by this is just play the game, it's far better than this.
I give this my first ever, 4.6/10.

Boy, oh boy. What do we have here? A gem in the hard stone?
Seriously, though, I didn't expect this anime to be soooo good. It really felt like a SOL genre, like one of those old shows where there isn't any major plotline, and it's just a show about the life of the MC interacting with people around him/her. And this one really said, "Well, you're not going to get just one POV, we give you all of them", and let me tell you it is absolutely refreshing to see this type of anime from all the trashy isekai power fantasy shonen.
This has to be
...
one of the most hype anime that I waited every week to watch. It's that good.
How did I find this?
It was actually one of those times when I browsed MAL and tried to figure out what I wanted to watch for the next season, and this was one of the anime that caught my eye.
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
Two subjects. The baseball and Ruriko.
NGL, I immediately drew into this anime because of the thumbnail showing Ruriko. Then I read the summary, and it was about baseball. I was like, "Well, don't mind if I do. Two birds with one stone, ey?"
Platform
It's only available on Crunchyroll, but... welp, you know how that service is kind of trash nowadays, right? That's why I do the usual. Yaaar
The review;
Plot/Story
Like I said, there isn't any major plot, unless we're talking about the goal of the MotorSuns baseball team. It's not really the main focus of the anime, but they keep bringing it up until the very end of the anime. Their journey actually really sweet and wholesome. Not only the players, but also the staff and the fans. It's absolutely amazing to watch them grow and help each other out.
Character
Oh boy, I don't think I have enough space to talk about this because I don't even consider Murata as MC. No, no, no, I believe the whole MotorSuns stadium is the MC. You know why? It is because of this stadium that all of the characters can grow. From the beer vendor girls (Ruriko, Sara, Kohinata, Kokoro, Aona) to the security guards (Ryuuichi and Reiji) to the players (Dennis, Bryan, Shioshio, Wataru, Mitsui, and Kojiro), even the fans, and other staff, to a freaking NEWS OUTLET REPORTER. It is wild how the author ties the story together and makes it into an exciting story. Every day is a new day, and a new day brings a new story.
OST/SFX
Boy, oh boy. This actually clears both OP and ED. Like, "SEI SEI KIMI NO BOKUNI MUKETE SAKEBO PLAYBALL!" It is so good every time the anime starts to shout that out loud. And then the ending. My god, can't it be cuter than this? The vendor girls are already cute, and then you go ahead and make them dance with a chibi art style. Oh boy, I love them.
And the SFX on the anime itself... feels really generic, I don't hear a lot of unique ones that I can point out, but nonetheless, I give you all 2 thumbs up.
Animation
Now, for this section, this anime in particular doesn't have appealing animation. No joke, if you watch just one episode alone, you can actually point out which section of the animation bothers you a lot. I'm not joking, I remember that one episode where Sara's face became big but her eyes shrank. That was an experience and a half; it actually gave a lot of giggles, but also bothered me a bit.
VA
And then last but not least, the VA... You know what? 2 thumbs up. I don't really need to say much.
Conclusion
The good;
It's enjoyable when you watch this with friends or family. It's so calming and heart-warming.
The bad;
Sad that this anime won't get a second season.
Overall, solid 9/10.
Definitely, a recommendation of the season. It is a must-watch if you like SOL.
