Hanayamata

Who needs manly men when you can douse yourself in fluffy feminine sweetness! Both Hanayamata and Yuru Yuri do exactly that my friends, no longer do you have to deal with harems that revolve around a brain-dead pervy guy, but instead focus on the adorableness that is girly girls~ Other similarities: *School setting *Club formation struggles *Comedy all-round *Shoujo Ai for the shippers out there :3 *A main character who doesn't stand out much and easily embarrassed *Directed to an older male audience I recommend both as they're personal favorites of mine cx

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri
add

Both of these anime revolve around the main character stopping a deadly infection before it reaches their brain, and in doing so end up unlike any species, not human nor infected. These mc's that undertake the change handle their situation with similar approaches, that being to preserve and protect human life despite their obvious condition. Another thing thats similar between these anime is the overall feel, its hard to explain but you just get the same adrenalin rush when you see the mc master their conditions. The only significant difference I can think of is the time these are set, Kiseijuu is very modern whereas Kabaneri has a more traditional look with a touch of industrialization.

Mirai Nikki

Platinum End
add

Both of these manga have a very similar plot. In both of them there are 12/13 chosen people to be god candidates, in Platinum End these chosen people are often suicidal and have given up on life and in Mirai Nikki the chosen people are generally psychologically damaged. These chosen candidates are given something that would change their lives, Platinum End provides the characters with angels and a choice between wings or red and white arrows, whereas Mirai Nikki rewards the candidates with a future diary, a device that will inform them of future events. The MC's of these manga are both the "everyday person" that seem to be brought into this game outside of their free will to do so, and they also form romantic alliances with other candidates. For anyone who likes a unique systematic plot line, these are two manga's that are definitely worth the read.

Fragtime
add

If you couldn't get enough of the atmosphere that Epitaph had, I'm sure you'll enjoy Fragtime. Both manga's are about a yuri couple who do strange and supernatrual things together, in Epitaph Astarte and Touwa are "Undertakers" and they deliver the last wishes of the dead to their families, whereas in Fragtime Moritani and Murakami both stop time together for 3 minutes a day and spend it together. Both of these manga have a strong romance aspect and a similar vibe to one another, I can guarantee if you liked one you'll enjoy the other too :)

Ore no Pantsu ga Nerawareteita.

In both of these manga the main girl has a disability or quirk about them which makes them undesirable. In Koe no Katachi, Shouko is deaf and communicates with the class via a notebook, this results in her classmates disliking her and bully her around, whereas in Ore no Pantsu ga Nerawareteita, Konomi has a strange genetic quirk in which she obsesses over the underwear of the person she likes, which results in some pretty awkward and funny situations. Both manga were in my opinion very enjoyable and each set a distinctive atmosphere with likable and unique characters, despite the significantly different feel these manga respectively have.
