Boring. MC just uses the same old weak level spells over and over until the very end where he finally uses a stronger attack (Divine Strike) but even that is boring as it doesn't do anything. They repeat the same phrases and animation scenes over and over. There are also really no side characters in this show, so you just get to see the emotionless MC wander around and solving problems in the most boring way possible. If there's an enemy, he just uses a plain old fireball. If it's a stronger enemy, he just spams that same fireball. There is no character development, nothing ... new happens, and the MC just refuses to do anything special.

Art and sound is pretty good. Not sure why people are complaining about how the pacing is making them confused about what's happening when it's pretty easy to understand. I don't really appreciate how weak the magicians/magic is in this story and there's little character development regarding Theo and Siluca but at least their romance is slowly growing. The politics are interesting though. What we go see is development in Marrine and Alexis. I feel like they gave Theo way too much plot armor when he fought Milza but hey what can I say? Main character = automatic win amirite? This feels like a less ... magic-involved Fate series but with surprisingly better graphics quality than Apocrypha.

I loved this anime at first sight. Not only was the name interesting, the OP and the characters were also very interesting. Shizuku has actually encouraged me to study harder. This is a great romance-comedy between two teens. GREAT ANIME
