Obviously, a ton of people just watched episode 1 and dropped it from there. And because they dropped it early, they didn’t see what this show really had to offer.

The big turnoff was definitely the MC’s personality. However, this is only for episode 1. Beyond this, he is much better.

Art/animation 9/10: This anime looks beautiful! Its got a unique art style followed with decent animation.

Romance 9/10: The development is at a perfect pace. Not too slow or too fast. Its just right. Another positive is that the MC actually doesnt deny his feelings. He knows he's developing feelings for Yamada as the anime progresses ... each episode. Its also fun to watch and see how he deals with these feelings. So, easy 9 for me in terms of romantic development as of episode 10.

Enjoyment: also 9/10. This show has not left me disappointed in the slightest. Each episode progresses smoothly, the story is quite engaging, and overall a very nice experience.

This is easily one of the better romances I've seen and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in watching it.

If your expecting a good quality show with good plot, character developments, good world building, etc. please watch something else. This show is meant to be enjoyed by trash isekai enjoyers (like myself) and others who dont exactly care for something of “good” quality.

The one positive thing I can say about this anime is the 2D art. It is absolutely gorgeous! The only problem however, is the animation itself. This was made by studio Millipensee who are also known for making the butchered CGI adaptation of Berserk. For every action scene in this anime, there is some form of CGI. This definitely brings the ... show down a bit and for some makes it unwatchable.

The plot is pretty generic. Man finds a door leading to a new fantasy which he can travel between both his normal world and this new one. He transforms into this ridiculously handsome man which attracts literally every woman and creates your typical isekai harem which youve seen a million times already.

A thing this show does unique is its emphasis on the non-fantasy world. More than half the show takes place in real world rather than the fantasy world (as of episode 5) which can be seen as a positive for some and a negative for others.

My rating for this is much higher than others simply because I enjoy trash isekai. This however, is on the higher end of trash isekai imo.


Tl dr: If you enjoy trash isekais with harems and dont mind CGI, you should at least somewhat enjoy this.
