It was an interesting experience which gave me an impulse to spend few hours prior to explore the background of this anime.

For me this anime was quite relaxing in first few episodes, when there is this chakra opening music and cute woman's voice tells me something about spirit force and how their leader is such a cool lad. However when you finally understand what kind of people animated it and how it was irl then it gives you creeps.

Also made me think why at first sight smart people like Seiichi Endo or Tsuchiya get involved in something like this and I came to conclusion ... that normal person can't live without spiritual education and among young people a mainstream religion seems like some archaism. And that might be partially the reason why people join Aleph etc. At least these are my thoughts.

Honestly, it has been a while since I wanted to see FL end with not ML, but everything in order.

I'm just starting my shoujo manga path, but even I can tell, that this manga was waaaay too long. I was thinking of dropping it after 12th chapter, but at the end skipped most of panels. The name of manga is really fitting because they will kiss only on the penultimate chapter and someone once said that it's highly unlikeable that young guy and girl in puberty age living together will never kiss or even more. There was much repeating (like festival, family vacation, bummers when ... they don't kiss etc); author couldn't even come up with different professions for characters lol.

And a bit nagging about realism, in my country a teenager age 16 until 18 can marry an adult only with the permission of their parent or guardian and just thinking logically you can't randomly bring a paper to marriage registry and say that you marry someone, it's a long process where both parties have to be present and in the clarity of mind (so it was clear from the start that when FL discovers that then there will be a major conflict). I'm not usually the one who's high morale, but being in such position as FL (being nowhere to go and with a small kid) it's so easy to use her position and manipulate with marriage and such. It often happens that people develop feelings being very close to each other especially living together and as FL's uncle said - those feelings would disappear if they stopped living together. It was just super weird bearing in mind that she had nowhere to go.

Love triangle was expected and Shouma was mostly right about criticizing their "marriage" even tho I didn't support all his actions. He was a much better party for a teenage girl who was dependent on her teacher and author pushing him on Meg (who was very cool, no doubts), looked unnatural, because he saw her only as a sister. Let's not forget that FL was still a teenager and change of heart is normal.

What was great: Teppei was very cute and extras about him 10 years later were good; art was getting better after first chapters and there were many panels which you just wanted to save - beautiful.

Overall: an average work, didn't feel the connection with it, but if you have nothing to read then why not; feel free to drop it the moment you get bored, there's nothing wrong with that. ✌🏻
