These two are really similar with their short random skits, and relaxed, funny atmosphere. A group of girls (with the exception of Seitokai no Ichizon having one male in the group) with distinct personalities always onto something funny to add to their high school days, thanks to their energetic leader.

I got a similar feeling from these short funny episodes. You don't have to think about anything while you watch them, like when you're feeling tired but still want to watch some anime. :D

These two share such a similarity! A magic school where a loathed and unpopular female student (who is also a fierce, proud tsundere) stumbles upon a guy, who she makes a magical contract with. It's a story loaded with both ecchi and actual romance, as the two go forth seeking power.

If I have to think about a series similar to this, the first link forms between Asatte no Houkou and Barakamon. I haven't watched that much from the slice of life genre, but these two both feature a warm relationship between a grown man and a little girl, and the pace of the story remains as warm and peaceful. Overall relaxing to watch, and makes one smile.

An alien girl comes to the Earth and falls for the protagonist, other girls come into the picture and a harem ensues. Lots of action, sci-fi and ecchi in both ones, not forgetting the comedy. First series coming to mind when watching Asobi Ni Ikuyo was definitely Nyaruko-san. Also, both protagonist alien girls having something to do with cats.

Honestly, these two couldn't be any more similar without being almost the same story and characters. I've never witnessed so much similarity with two different animes. Simply, if you liked the other, you will definitely like the other one too.

These both have an extremely eerie and dark mood to them making the viewer curious and wanting more. Both start out relatively calmly, with the tension gradually building up into something a lot more gruesome. No holding back with the terror and blood!

Must point out the similarities in these, even though the storylines are really different. Also, one takes place in an urban city surroundings and the other in a rural japanese village. But as a reverse-harem fan I enjoyed these both. A female main lead is introduced into a confusing new situation where different good-looking guys will start appearing around her, and things that she does are of extreme importance for her whole world or reality, of course along with the company of the guys.

The sole female main character, utterly confused and scared about what's happening around her, and a bunch of hot guys with each after her in different ways and in different exciting situations. :> Lovely and enjoyable.

These two animes share the really similar game of desperate elimination of each other, the Alice game of Rozen Maiden and the future diary destroying in Mirai Nikki. All participaters are just trying to get to the top at all costs. Only that Mirai Nikki is the bloodier version.

The both series share the same kind of intenseness and both the main characters are cool and level-headed (plus quite good-looking!) males who will constantly get into lethally dangerous situations from which they survive only by thinking.

Neuro and Yako are really similar to Alucard and Integra (when she was small of course) and Neuro's hellish powers and demeanor remind me very much of the ones of Alucard. If you like Hellsing, I'm certain you like Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro and the other way around.

These two have extreme similarity in the cool characters, thought-out plot and the general serious mood. They both can make you really attached to the story and make you want to watch them over and over again, just beause of the overall atmosphere and sensibleness.

Basically both have the conceit of many people who have personal problems and one ultimate person to reflect them, and the evilness and misery of man.

Both include otakus as main characters. The anime collection figures, the manga collections, the posters on the walls... it has that same feeling.
