I don't post reviews for stuff unless there is a reason, unless an anime surprises me with how good it was.
BUT
This is genuinely just straight up bad. I don't understand the motivation for anything that is happening because it's sprinting to the next adhd fueled gore scene. It honestly feels like they took a good anime and cut out all of the plot because it was "filler". I had to check if I missed an episode early on because they went from logical start to like whatever is happening now.

This is like if you watched a catastrophic event from human history live and still needed ... subway surfers gameplay in the corner to keep you interested. I don't understand how this garbage gets created.

Literally watch anything else...

Just beforehand, I have not completed this show but it is hype so I feel the need to write this article anyways.

Story: 7
It's just a typical isekai with the small plot twists to make it unique.

Art: 10
The art is hype and I can't physically throw shade.

Sound: 10
You best be watching this dubbed...they genuinely convey the emotion so well I straight up have never been more happy with voice acting in my life.

As stated earlier, it's an isekai anime so like how much do you care specfically about the characters anyways...

I have recommended it to each and every one of my friends and they all love it. There is honestly just a bit for everyone and that makes it amazing to watch with the boys on a friday night.

UPDATE: Ayyy we pushed through, the anime is now done (I was at like episode 18 before).

I will still say that I have never been this disappointed in an anime, BUT now it is because it just took so long to get better. The anime baits you in with stereotypical anime troupes and then completely obliterates any enjoyments you can receive early on. You have to push through to enjoy the anime and I solemnly believe that should not be the case with a good anime.

STORY: 3
While the story still is mediocre at best, it does get better...it just takes a REALLY long time.

ART: 8
It ... is pretty good art, I'm a simple man.

CHARACTER: 3
All of the characters somehow manage to be more bland than the average isekai roster, the only ones with any depth are supporting characters you rarely see. Upside, you see a couple character moments towards the end.

ENJOYMENT: 3
After all the time believing it was going to get better I eventually gave into it and accepted it would be subpar. That is when the anime chose to give me some of the goods, I don't feel like that is the strategy.

OVERALL: 4
It really is not an anime I would suggest unless you can genuinely finish it quickly. You do not want to watch it slowly or you will somehow get more burnt out, if you watch it quickly then I can honestly say you'll take the downfalls better.

I'm going to make this short, too many people are trying to view this movie as something that it was never going to be...this movie, like the anime, is supposed to make you feel good and happy with the whole "good triumphs evil". The plot was good (although kinda expected), the fight scenes were cool, and the ending wrapped it up in a nice box.

Although i'd say it's the most lacking part of the movie as a whole it's still really good compared to what we have come to expect from anime movies.

Your typical Boku no Hero Academia art style, not much else ... to say really.

Same as before, the kind of characters you have come to know and love.

Enjoyment: 10
It makes you feel good, it is a enjoyable experience and that is what matters.

I'm going to be completely honest here...I find this anime mediocre in some aspects but it also does very well in others. It's your typical harem ecchi anime so you should expect it to not have the best story or most developed characters, you shouldn't go into this anime expecting something that the genre isn't. What I'm trying to say here is that if you like harem ecchi anime then you will probably like this one as well, if you don't like them then just move on and skip this one because it isn't for you.

PS: Julie is actually amazing and easily boosted the experience ... easily by like a good 20% because of her genuine cuteness, I give the voice actors major props for helping make it good (subbed and dubbed alike).
