I'm going to start off saying that this is an interesting manga. Even though a story like this has been made a thousand times before, killing to change the world is a little different. Even though I don't share the same views, I believed the story to be worth reading.
Around the sixth chapter they meet Sherlock Holmes and the pov changes to him for about two chapters or so. I would say it bounces back and forth between the Sherlock Holmes pov and the brothers. I think it's a little annoying, but I got used to it. Even though I believe that they should've
...
focused on the Moriarty brothers because they were more interesting to read about.
Now I haven't read or seen Sherlock Holmes, but I thought this would have been so much better if they got their own characters and not base them on already existing. As you probably know if you base a story on another story, you will most likely be stuck to the source materials. I would personally would have liked it to be it's own thing because they could've done so much more with it. I think that maybe because it was Sherlock Holmes they felt like they needed to show his pov when it would've been much more enjoyable to stick with the brothers. This is my personal opinion, but I think that John and that girl that owns the apartment complex are unnecessary. It would be better to have combined them. Because I see why John is there, but I don't see why he couldn't have been with Sherlock from the begining and we would've had more to their story rather than a useless chapter introducing him to Shelock? If you get what I mean.
Anyway, I thought it was a pretty average story that I will have in the back of my mind. The characters for the most part are likeable because you see where they come from( Except Sherlock's pov ofc ). The art is a standard manga style. Oh, but funny thing. At the begining of the story I thought that the eldest and the youngest noble brothers were the same person, so look out for that. If I see that the story has been updated, I will probably read it.
Overall it was something I wouldn't mind reccomending, though I wouldn't say it's amazing and groundbreaking.

Okay so basically I've only read to 4.2 then dropped it. Even so I will tell you my opinions on the story until that point.
Let's start off with the story. It's a typical isekai story with an op hero summoned to save another world. If you're into that, I won't blame you because so am I. I would say the only difference to other stories is that the god is obviously with him on a trial to become a real godess, and then the mc is overly cautious as the title states. It's not anything original and there are way better stories out there with
...
almost the same premise.
Now to my biggest concern, the shitty characters. This is only my opinion, don't take offense.
The goddess is exactly the same as Aqua from KonoSuba. Is this a bad thing? Yes, it ruins the whole story for me. She's highly annoying, she contributes basically nothing to the story and won't shut up. She complains to this other goddess and she's an airhead. Entirely useless character, and it would be better if she was those gods that don't come with them to the world but can still contact him. It makes no sense for her to even come with?? She's just kinda in the way or on the sidelines yelling some annoying shit ruining the the fight? I just can't stand these annoying women that are essentially useless, just being pretty on the side. No, I'm not jealous or anything like that. It just ruins everything for me tbh.
Enough about her and on to the mc. The mc is nothing special. You're generic op mc with the twist that he is cautious and questions/doubts everything. I guess you could say that he is cold and can be kind sometimes. Nothing noteworthy though. Almost every isekai mc has the same mentality, this character is only to be expected with such a title. Honestly the title is the best description of this manga.
The art is normal for an isekai, or manga in general. Nothing to complain about.
I tried to enjoy the manga without being bothered by Lista, but it didn't work out. Though if you liked KonoSuba and Aqua in particular, you can always give this a try. Seeing that it will have it's own anime this fall, I can only expect something compared to Arifureta. Then I mean the quality, not the story ofc.
This will only blend into the pile junk isekai you won't remember tbh. I may seem harsh, but I want you to get the full view kinda.
Edit: I skimmed through to the 7th ch. and it gets a little better? Just thought I let you know, but I'm still dropping it.

The manga is pretty short, if I would say so myself. I guess it would be a okay quick read. You see, the story is not amazing. I feel as if there are a lot of plot holes, and some things could've been explored more. I would say it's very predictable, and standard kinda. Really nothing you would remember in the long run. It could've been better if it were longer, but that wouldn't change it's score nor my opinions on it.
The art is normal for that time I believe. I don't really have a problem with it, but it's nothing outstanding.
For characters, they
...
are kinda shallow. The mc, Rico, is your standard shoujo girl with the trait of a standard harem guy. By that I mean getting nose bleeds and being very perverted. At points she becomes annoying.
The main love interest( or whatever you call it ), Minato, is so weird? At a very quick rate he reavels his love for Rico and it kinda just feels forced. He also quotes people and sometimes does it at a very weird timing, it becomes comical. I really don't know why he even really does that, I feel like they're trying to push the narrative that he's an author by doing so if I'm honest. They also very briefly touched on the fact that he was a Gigolo(?), and I guess it was to establish that he wants to see the real person or whatever. I just didn't understand what his motive was? Like why did he want to understand? I just didn't feel like it deepened the character that much.
The so called rivals don't feel like they even have a motive for being rivals. Even one of them just up and disappears? The other just wants the person back because why, we don't know. Maybe I missed it, but it really is weird.
Minor spoiler, but I think the movie thing where the reason they broke up was because she was a guy.. is problematic? Or like of course is really bad to decieve someone, but it maybe could have been handled in a better way? Maybe I'm just ranting about a very little detail, oh well.
These generic hidden identity mangas really only has one ending, huh.

Minor spoilers!
The first few episodes were really messy in my opinion, but it got less messy as the story progressed. Though it overall just felt unrefined.
To start off, a lot of scenes were unnecessary or waste of potential. They really could've made it simplier for themselves by taking out scenes that won't be continued or talked about later on. I just ended up wanted to edit this series like a youtube video, if you know what I mean. When you start rambling about stuff that doesn't actually matter, but you get distracted. That's the type of feel I got from it.
Don't get me wrong,
...
the story is cool and all. It would just be way cooler and better, if it wasn't so messy.
There was a, let's say, vulgar scene and it felt all too natural between the two involved. He gets a sort of "punishment" later, but that gets fixed by the victim?? There's also this backstory of the victim that I really don't get it. That backstory was all too long and unnecessary for an excuse not to trust the mc, but that only got used once?
The art style is an average chinese anime. Like I don't really know why, but all chinese animes has the same style. At least those I have watched, like King's Avatar has a similar style.
Really nothing much to comment about, just a average anime style I guess.
I really don't remember soundeffects and the opening song/ending song. It wasn't all that memoriable. I do admit that I listened a little to the ending song everytime though. It amuses me to see survivor anime characters play in a band in the ending song, yk?
I could honestly go on and on about the individual characters, but I'll do a brief overall view. Mostly because I really don't remember the names of any of them, didn't stick with me.
To say the least, the characters are flawed. I feel like some of their actions were just to prove a point in the characters backstory. Though I will say that I hate none of the characters, which is rare when it comes to survivor animes. Some characters were annoying, but let's say they were taken care of.
Overall it's an anime that's not finished. It's one you binge watch and in the end wishing there was an end. One you'll probably won't remeber watching the next week. A year from watching it you could watch it again and feel as if you recognize it. That kinda anime, yk?
I would say, give it a try.
