An ordinary guy falls into alternative world which is based on magic principles. Our protagonist becomes a servant of loli tsundere ojousama heroine so in both anime we will see the same pattern of relationships. Either Louise or Astarotte are voiced by Kugimiya Rie who is well known for voicing the most famous tsundere characters. Both anime have a lot of ecchi and it's on the first place in AO but ZT also have an interesting plot (at least the first season of ZT). There is also maid heroine (Effie -- Siesta). And Ini will remind you of Tabitha (kuudere type).

> Shoujo anime about half-blood youkai-s living in human society. Strong romantic line & bishounen-s. > Protagonist is a youkai girl accompanied by male companion. She's tsundere. > Many slice of life elements, but there are also scenes of fighting against supernatural. The main heroine uses a cold weapon to fight. > The same ideas of how it's hard to be youkai among humans. Many characters have a hard childhood.

*It's not a kawaii school anime. Conversations are extremely perverted. So, don't suggest watching this to your younger brother or sister (or to parents) ^_^ *The main character is a schoolgirl with innocent look. *...However, she always says dirty things. In KdO she have to say them (because it's her work) and in SY she just like to they them. *In KdO she hides the fact that she has such kind of job. And in YK she doesn't. However, in both cases not so many people are acknowledged about her second nature. *She have two female friends in school. So, there is a trio of girls in both anime, they look pretty similar in some way. One of the girls is a twin tales pettanko with low height. However, in KdO she is not tsunderish enough to fit this trope. *There is a romantic line on the background. In SY it's lost in perverted jokes, and in KdO it fits a plot good.

*It's not strange for anime when girls perverted. But in this anime they are VERY vulgar and agressive. So, there are elements of female domination. *The main character is a school idol who seem to have no flaws. *Despite this, all her thoughts are about sex. *Nevertheless, she has no sexual expierence. However, Amakusa doesn't feel frustrated because of her virginity (Yamada does). *Male characters are timid and are far less perverted. They feel shy about the things that this perverted girls are talking about ^_^ *You can consider this as a hentai by listening to dialogues. However, this anime haven't even much ecchi visual scenes. *There is an ojou-sama heroine with a vast house. Maids are included. *Both anime have a romantic line that isn't exposed enough. This line is more comic, than romantic, actually.

*It's slice of life, where the main character is a schoolgirl. *Perverted heroines: in YK it's the main heroine and her female friend, and in MS it is main heroine's older sister. *Many intimate slice of life aspects, appurtenant to sex and physiology (like menstruation) are revealed and discussed. You can see the similar kind of slice of life in Futari Ecchi anime, however, FE is more mature and realistic. *Dialogues are also very similar. There is exactly the same kind of "humour".

Two fantasy worlds with similar history. Small monarchical belligerent countries. Enigmatic "legacy of ancectors". There isn't much fan service. However, anime don't pretend to be too serious. Characters participates in dramatic war with mecha. Protagonist is on the side of small country that is attacked by more powerful neighbour. All characters are pleasant. There is no black-and-white morality. Everyone have their own reasons to fight and things to protect. BB have much action and concentrated on war while SW is meditative, mysterious and concentrated on slice of life.

A kind slow paced slice of life anime about a girl who helps people with her supernatural powers. On the one hand she's learning how to use her supernatural powers and on the other hand she's just the ordinary girl. She has a mentor who helps her to conciliate this parts of her personality. This anime is more like fairy tale than fantasy.

Different lifes and different stories; the one who unites them is a white-haired shinigami girl. She shares sufferings of the people whom she meets. She wants to help them, but she can't do anything, she is "just doing her job". So, both anime shares a concept of "good shinigami" who have a heart of angel. While SnB is heartwarming anime for all ages (PG-13), Suika's plot is much more tragic and cruel. Without hentai scenes (there isn't many hentai scenes, actually - remember that Suika is based on visual novel that is 99% non-hentai) it would be rated as R (17+). There are also two funny detailes that are same for both anime: > Shinigami has a black cat as a companion. > The ring of the bell shows shinigami's presense. P.S. There is also nice visual novel "Tokoyo no Hoshizora". I bet you'll like it, because it's pretty similar to these anime, especially to Suika.

Great enigma aura. Transient existance of human civilisation and human beings in Big Mystery Universe. Slice of life in fantastic future world. Drama plot is covered by comedy / adventure plot. Many hidden facts about the world that are meant but not said directly. Beautiful nature and music. Girls as main characters. Water theme. YKK is more concentrated on mystery while Aria have more slice of life & kawaii. Plot in Aria is much more slow paced. However, the world in both animes looks stationary at the same rate.

"Rain Town" and "Garakuta no Machi" (5th story from "Sweat Punch" series) are both short and slow paced animes. They have different atmosphere but the plot have similar themes. We see alone child exploring near future world in both of this animes. The child meets an artificial intelligence and communicates with it. "Rain Town" is voiceless and "Garakuta no Machi" have only a few conversations. However, "Garakuta no Machi" is more optimistic and have comedy scenes while "Rain Town" is sorrowful and depressive.
