Itching to read good mystery manga with just the right touch of romance? Two Will Come and Coelacanth are two amazing psychological mysteries that get the job done. In comparison to Two Will Come, Coelacanth has cleaner, less sketchy drawings and is a bit more "modern" both art-wise and story-wise. Both stories have their personal charms though. :D

Both stories are excellent, very short one-shots that hit you in that soft spot in your heart that normally remains untouched. Both stories also have a poignant twist in the end. :D Look forward to it!

Are you sick of Kagome's hissy fits and excessive weeping? Not in the mood to read 56 volumes? Mugen Spiral is a fantastic, under-rated manga that is a lot like Inuyasha but's A LOT shorter. In both stories there's a girl with spiritual powers who fights demons even though her main companion is a demon who she controls with a necklace. Give Mugen Spiral a chance! You won't regret it.

The Devil's Trill
add

Featuring love that transcends time and reincarnation both Please Save My Earth and The Devil's Trill are sweet stories. Both stories feature some science fiction as well. The Devil's Trill was darker and moodier then Please Save My Earth but it's still very good. Please give both of these mangas a shot! :D

With gritty style and awesome story lines both Battle Royale and Parasyte caught me from the start and refused to let go. In both stories the characters are faced with seemingly hopeless circumstances that they desperately struggle to change. Battle Royale and Parasyte are fundamentally different in that one features an epic survival game while the other has parasitic aliens invading the Earth but both are amazing mangas!

Akuma no Ororon

Fancy romantic mangas featuring angels and demons? Enjoy bitter-sweet, well-written stories with occasional splashes of blood? Then both Angel Sanctuary and The Devil Ororon are right for you! Angel Sanctuary is a deep 20 volume epic while The Devil Ororon is a comparatively simple four volume story, but both are very great stories worth checking out!

Doubt

"Battle Royale" and "Doubt" both center around a kind of survival game where trust in other humans is tested. Both mangas are very mature and have deeply psychological and well-developed plots. Battle Royale is more on the action/epic side while Doubt is more on the mystery side. Both are VERY good and HIGHLY recommended. :D

Both are supernatural adventure mangas that take place in historic Korea. The main character in both mangas is a tough guy tied down by his past in some way. The story lines in the mangas are epic and original. With either manga you read you don't lose! XD

Both are excellent josei romantic comedy mangas featuring a odd, quirky couple where one person is serious while the other in the relationship is goofy and happy. I liked Kimi wa Petto better because the characters seemed better developed but both are good mangas worth checking out.

Oyayubihime Infinity
add

Both mangas are supernatural romance comedies about reincarnation. Both stories feature strong, well-developed characters and a well-written story line. "Please Save My Earth" is a long (21 volume!!) epic that leans towards science fiction, while "Oyayubihime Infinity" leans is a relatively short (6 volume) story that leans towards the historical side. Both are highly recommended! XD

Both Jisatsu Circle and School Ningyo are great psychological horror thrillers featuring students. I found Jisatsu Circle more intense and frightening then School Ningyo but nonetheless both are fantastic reads (short too! lol).

Both the stories are disturbing horror masterpieces that make you want to scream/cry/throw up. And both Jisatsu Circle and Tomie are very deep, psychological stories that are works of fiction that feature very real issues. Jisatsu Circle was more on the profound side and Tomie was more on the gruesome side, at least for me.

Blue Heaven

Both stories are AMAZING and refreshing psychological thrillers drawn in a realistic style. Parasyte (64 chapters) is an epic in length compared to Blue Heaven (24 chapters) and the plots are pretty different. But they're both masterpieces of equal caliber in my eyes.

Both stories are under ten pages yet both of them are much more touching and meaningful then some of the 18 volume epics out there. Both stories are centered around objects that are personified.
