While I'm not entirely sure how I felt about the ending, this series is one of the best I've ever read.
It features incredibly well-developed characters with deep and complicated feelings that they do a great job of expressing at some point or other.

This series didn't have the typical misunderstandings because people were too shy to say something simple. Instead, you can understand every fake smile or secret kept and it's so heartbreaking...and gripping!

I've never seen something capture the essence of bitter sweetness until I read this. It grabbed me so tightly and made me feel every emotion for every character. I smiled ...

Preliminary (8/12 eps)
An Update to my 4 eps in review:

I still like this anime more than I expected to. Looks like we are not getting an ounce of harem vibes after all - very refreshing. It actually doesn't go the route it seems it will for the main story either. In episode 8 they hardly address his goals. Instead, the focus shifts to fixing issues within the social group.

The emotions that the characters feel about one another are a lot more complicated than what I'm used to seeing in anime and I believe their social pecking order is much more realistic. I think they are ...

Mixed Feelings
To put it simply - I didn't like the ending, the series went on for too long and there were aspects of the story that made little to no sense and/or served no real purpose.

It has such an interesting premise and I think that world is explored fairly well in the beginning. And then it has its moments where it falls off the deep end and comes back up for air somehow.

Ultimately I found myself finishing it because I simply wanted to know how it ended and even that was disappointing in its "miraculous" convenience. Honestly, though, the story was such a rollercoaster I'm ...
