To all my feminists peeps out there, and even to those who are not feminists...this anime has no plot, none.
It's all a series of excuses to show hot girls underwear in different poses. There's no character development and the female characters have absolutelly no personality at all.
However I have to said the lead guy was less annoying than the usual guys on this kind of anime. Also Its fun for me when the guy needs saving from the girls. So these factors made the anime not a total loss for me.

This sequel is good, but not good enough to stand by itself. The first Higurashi was better to keep the horror anime feel, however the sequel does shed some light into the situation and leave us with the feeling of resolution.
But it needs to be said that the last half of the anime it gets confusing, and some solutions come just too easy without any explanation. And there is a character introduced in this one that plays a crucial part that is not mentioned anywhere in the first Higurashi and this character is pretty much a plot device.

you a sense of closure but a it is a let down from the first one.

Since I seem to rate by comparison (I’m just finding out that about myself), if there was more Yaoi anime out there the rate of this anime would probably drop. Since there are still few Yaoi animes out there I gave this a 6.
The story centres on the student council vice-present, Chiga, who is in love with the president, Kokusai. Kokusai is an airhead and doesn’t really notice a lot of things going on around him (such as people taking advantage of his body). He also doesn’t realize Chiga’s feelings, and not even that he DOES actually reciprocates them.

bad points:
-The animation could be better;
-Music...NOT good;
-Ok I’m a bit biased because I’m familiar with the manga, but this OVAS doesn’t really have a story. They kind of just stuck with the introductory part of the manga. As someone who wouldn’t mind seeing their entire story told in anime I can’t avoid but to feel like two OVAS are not enough. They came short on story development department;
- Let’s get real here...if you are not going to give us the manga whole story but only two short OVAS, so then give us more smut and fan service as some kind of compensation. I mean, I would understand if there was little sex and a lot of plot...but no, I feel as a viewer we don’t get much of either.
Good Points:
What do I say here besides it was fine, at most?
-It did stick to the first volume of the manga;
- I like the characters. I think both the male leads are charismatic characters, especially Kokusai...I think he is kind of funny;
-I liked the voice actors, I think they did ok;
-It is entertaining if you want just an uncomplicated yaoi anime;
-There are a couple of sexy scenes there. Not the best, but still good.
To summarize Seitokaichou ni Chuukoku is not really bad, but is not really good either. It’s an ok Yaoi anime that will help you pass the time at most. But it probably won’t be making a lot of people’s top yaoi anime lists.

This ova is actually a collection of short episodes with the Seto no hanayome gang. Some are better than others.
Well I must say that the following review is based upon my personal opinion and tastes. I'm not a huge fan of comedies, mostly because there are very few comedies that manage to make you laugh while telling a good story and featuring good characters and good character development. Seto no Hanayome, the series, was not an exception but still, it was pretty funny. I wrote a review on it and I pointed the bad points and good points how I see them.

disappointment this OVA, in my opinion, didn't do justice to the series. All the bad points are back with a vengeance (Lack of plot, annoying characters, more new characters instead of focusing on the ones they already have, no development for the couple at all). Plus to aggravate it all the good points are nullified:
- Except for Nagasumi who seems to be the only character who is capable of any development, what so ever, every single character forgot any development they had on the series and reverted back to the behaviour they presented when they first appeared.
- San didn't even behave as assertive and protective of her relationship with Nagasumi, at least not as much as the series...if anything, their relationship seemed to go a little backwards. I know that in this series the comedy comes first, still is frustrating to watch characters that seem to be stuck in the same situations.
- Hilarious characters such as Mikawa and Saru hardly show up in favour of new characters that are not really that funny. They presented pointless new characters that are a bit annoying and not really funny taking away screen time from other characters that are more relevant, likable and funnier (Like shark Fujishiro, Masa, Mikawa Kai, Saru, even San's mom is funnier).
As I said before some parts of the OVA are better than others, but as a whole it is just not as funny as the series.
The level of animation and sound are good, I give the OVA that. It maintained the level presented on the series. As far as story and character development are concerned, though, this OVA does NOT add more to what has been already done and I considered it actually a step down on those aspects.

First, the Onegai Teacher series should NOT be judged based on this. The series is pretty good, If by any chance someone wants to know my opinion on it I have already reviewed it and posted it.
Having said that let's get to the point...or lack of it, in this case. This short animation is pointless and plotless. There is no influence on the OT series plot.
It's a sketch type of thing. It was meant to be funny, using one of the comic relief characters (Marie) from the series as a main character of a (really) short animation...but it doesn't succeed on getting you to actually
...
laugh (well, at least not in my case). Besides, most of the lovable characters of the series don't even make an appearance here.
Watch it if you are a fan of the Onegai Teacher series...if you're not, I don't see the point really.

Seto no Hanayome can be described as a random slapstick comedy. At points none of it make any sense at all. If you are looking for comedy with a plot this is NOT your cup of tea. But if you just want mindless laughs this one can be pretty fun.
First to the bad points:
There is no plot...none. They make up a setting for Nagasumi to meet and engage San. Nagasumi, to save the woman who had just saved his live, accepts to marry her....that's all the plot you are going to get. After that is just one crazy situation after the other just to test

their resolve to stay together. 99% of those situations make no sense at all.
There are a couple of annoying characters that I could go without. The (little) assassin Maki is the most annoying character on the anime. It's just the same jokes over and over, the same reactions. Always trying to break the couple apart. (Honestly why the hell San-chan is even friends with someone who tries to kill her fiancé every freaking episode, WTF???). At least they toned her down a bit on the last few episodes.
As a lot of slapstick comedies do, they resort to introducing new characters everytime they fill the same jokes are getting old. I find this a fault and it shows a lack of creativity. They could just create new situations, make the character evolve...but why bother? Just throw in some weird looking new guy or a new hot Tsundere and that's that...(I think this is just lazy comedy).
One last thing, I know is something pointless to wish for in this sort of anime, but I really would like to watch their relationship really grow, they becoming more like of a real couple...even if it was just a kiss.
The good points:
The lead man, Nagasumi-kun, is subject to a lot of pain and misunderstandings while trying to win the heart of his lady. However, to be fair, if any character had a personality growth in this anime it was Nagasumi. He starts as the guy that gets punched, shoot at, slaped, etc., etc. (as always on this kind of comedy). But throughout the anime he goes from the butt of almost every single joke to a guy that really charm his way into the girls hearts. He says that he wants to be someone who San-chan can love, and you actually see him, little by little, becoming more self assured and confident (Although remember this is a comedy so he still is the butt of a lot of jokes).
As far as the female lead goes San is a more interesting leading female than a lot of other on this type of anime. She actually shows her feelings for her guy, she fights for him, all of these made her earn a LOT of points with me. Overall she is a strong female, who DOES show her love. Plus, at points she was really funny, which is refreshing since most of anime girls just blush and behave like 5 year olds.
Note: Mikawa Kai and Saru, two of the supporting characters, are freaking hilarious.
Overall this anime was fine, It guaranteed some really good laughs. If you are bored and just want to laugh, give it a try.

I must say that all that I wrote on my review about the series Onegai teacher applies to this OVA. There is no significant change. I thought the animation was a bit of a step down from the series, though. BUT nothing dramatic.
Kazami sensei's mom is still a "WTF?!" character to me. But there is nothing really bad to say about this OVA.
Overall I really enjoyed this OVA it was a nice closure for the series and very fulfilling. I'm not an ecchi fan, but I actually like that we get to see Kei and Mizuho relationship get deeper ( I also enjoyed Kei finally
...
calling his wife by her name).

I really enjoyed this anime and was not expecting to since I usually do NOT like Ecchi. But this anime really rose above my expectations. It was a nice surprise.
Bad points first:
Yes, there are some bad points, though some of them get fixed along the series. So I'll just point here the bad points that didn't get fixed.
- I really don't think they needed the whole alien thing. The sensei being an alien is just a detail that works as a plot device at times. The story doesn't need it and if they had gotten rid of it and just dealt with the
...
situations without it this anime would be a "slice of life" genre classic now. As it is using the alien thing as a fix for some situations ends up coming across as lazy writing. It's a real pity.
- I was disappointed they didn't focus a bit more seriously on the taboo side of it (even if Kei is 18, legal age). I really would love to have seen a bit more of them defending their marriage against society. The fact that they manage to keep it a secret successfully is unreal...I mean, he is a high school student married with his teacher on a small town...and NO ONE KNOWS?!? This is unreal. I really would love to see they confronting society prejudice an sticking together...oh well :\
- What is the deal with the backstabbing mother...like WHAT???
Good Points:
I have lot to say here, because as I said this anime was a nice surprise.
- The Ecchi factor was there but it was very mild and didn't bother all that much. Plus not all the females love the lead which is great. It really surprised me.
- The leading male character Kei Kusanagi, I really liked him. I love that the romantic male lead is a common guy, real common. He is not the funny guy, he is not the smart but quiet guy, he is not the bad boy or the great noble guy, he is definitely not the strong fighter guy. Kei is quiet but friendly, smart but not a good student, strong willed when he has to, not afraid to fight with sensei (refreshing since most of anime boys are whipped), and he is frail because of his health issues. I love it!! I hate that most people think that to be a good lead the guy must be Naruto/Goku/Lelouch. Hurray for imperfect people as leads in animes o/
-The leading female character Kazami-sensei, well I don't love her since she is the subject of most of the fan service AND she is twenty-something acting and blushing like a teen (really? REALLY???), BUT I did find myself warming up to her. She is not afraid to admit her feelings, and she is not afraid to act on said feelings, those are BIG plusses for me. She loves her man, she wants to keep her man, she is not afraid to say it and she is not afraid to act on it...You go girl!!!
-A lot of characters at first seem like stereotypes, especially Maho as the annoying, spoiled, overbearing sister. However, most of the characters, even Maho, evolve, change in one way or another. Some of the secondary characters have storylines of their own and they are actually interesting. I especially liked Hyosuke and Kaede’s storyline, I would even watch an anime just about the two of them. I really liked Hyosuke, you start thinking he is the typical comic relief dumb friend because of the way he acts, but he is the most intelligent of the group, a fun guy who is actually gentle and really sweet with his girlfriend.
- I love that girls here are humanized on this. It is not perfect, but it was pretty good for an anime. In most romance animes girls fall into three stereotypes (that I really don’t like): the girls that stare at the guy they love from a distance with teary eyes too afraid to even speak in front of the guy; the girl that get mad that they like a guy and are constantly ripping the guy a new one and beating him with whatever they can find; the third are the girls that are completely clueless, they act like they don’t know what “liking someone” is, they’re doe eyed and seem to not know that their actions influence other people (or how people actually reproduce), those are the ones that respond to a love confession with “I also love you. You’re a great friend” (while I’m thinking: kill her off, please kill her off). Onegai teacher has none of those stereotypes, the girls on OT are aware of their own actions and of others actions towards them. They like guys and they act on their feelings. They confess, they get disappointed, they fight for what they want. It was really refreshing, I was really happy with how the female characters personalities and actions were treated on this anime.
-Finally a romance anime where things actually happen. I’m sick of animes where you wait and watch and what you get is 2 characters holding hands after 15 episodes...DAMN. Taking from the animes, sometimes I wonder if the Japanese people spring out of rocks instead of having sex, because the poor male characters have to work so damn hard to get a girl to hold his hand let alone kiss...Are Japanese girls made of ice??? I love that in Onegai teacher they hold hands, fight, kiss, have sex, all done in a surprisingly mild and tasteful way.
WELL, TO SUM UP, It will not be the best anime you will ever see, that’s for sure, but it will leave you with the feeling of resolution, something you don't always get watching animes. The characters change and evolve, most of the storylines get closure, the couples do more than look at each other dreamily, and it all feels very satisfying.
