I thought your Vampire Review was *amazing*. It was well written and not to drawn out. Great Job!

I think you're the first fellow fan of Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori that I've found on here so far!

I'm glad that you pointed that out in your Vampire knight review about the main female lead. I freaking love that show but I hated the female lead because he end up as a damsel in distress which I hate!

I read your review for Koko ni Iru yo. Such a sweet manga. Have you read Fruits Basket? I think you'd like it. The man heroine is the sweet timid girl type.

Your Vampire Knight Guilty review had me in stitches! I wholly agree with both the first line and the last line of your review. It's good to know there are other reviewers out there willing to put forth a totally honest and well-written opinion regardless of the negative scoring. How refreshing to see that, Kudos!

Thank you!! I enjoyed it a lot, I watched it blindly not expecting much but Toua just completely suprised me and within a few episodes I already determined he was an amazing character! Glad someone can agree!

> I don't think ecchi refers to all types of sexual content.

Ah well.. you're probably right in a way girly.. I think I kind of use the direct translation of the word 'ecchi'.

But Berserk has those (srs) (f*cked) up 'ecchi' moments every now and then.. not every manga/anime dares to do that. Panty shots are so lame (but still funny sometimes :P)

> I LOVE the supernatural elements in Berserk, but that's mainly because I follow the manga.

Hahah .. I've been avoiding it becuz the supernatural stuff hahaha :P Maybe I should just try it :o

Anyway have you ever read: Shamo .. it's very extreme and (VERY!) ecchi .. well of course according to your description.. it's not tagged with ecchi but with seinen :p

> Berserk isn't ecchi! Berserk is genius!!!

Yeh Berserk is genius indeed.. but it also had its 'ecchi' moments..
For example when mercenaries somehow manage to find some cute girl in the woods.. You can almost guess whats on their minds.. Since the medieval ages were pretty much mostly about "rape & pillage"..

My 'favourite' moments in Berserk were when Gatsu found out Griffith sold his body to some dirty old man in order to make some money.. and in the end when they finally rescued Griffith .. and his body was tortured so badly.. that their hopes all went to hell..
My mouth really fell open during those moments :o

Anyways.. the extreme/ecchi moments in the show really made the show realistic/special compared to the average medieval anime.. I didn't care much for the super natural in the end and the beginning though :|

I'm always looking for a show like that.. with (srs) ecchi moments..

Oh well.. I was about to recommend you "Kemonozume".. but it seems you gave the show a 5? lol.. I really liked that show .. and I laughed a lot. The art is (a bit) weird though..

Hey! Kaiji is a fun show !!! I'm at ep 11 so far..
I think I've been avoiding this show becuz of the art ... but it's addictive to watch :)

Anyways.. I 'trial-ed' Gungrave and Ikkitousen before.. and I don't know.. Ikkitousen kind of looks like the standard ecchi around there like Love hina for example (I might be wrong..).

And Gungrave .. meh .. I watched a few eps.. some guys died.. meh .. the show didn't feel that dramatic to me at that time..
I saw u gave it a 10 out of 10 though lol ..

Anyways.. thx for the Kaiji recommendation.. :p
Concerning 'ecchi' shows.. I'm mostly looking for (ecchi) shows like Berserk :o.. with some srs ecchi stuff going on :o..
Kozooo Jan 23, 2010 4:49 PM
Hahah .. no need to apologize :P..

I kind of agree with you.. when I watched the show.. I kind of got excited.. but meh..
the show didn't deliver at all.. meh..

btw.. what anime/manga would you recommend me?

I'm usually looking for something extreme.. or ecchi.. or something inspiring :o

Quote: "If you're a guy who wants to watch cute zombie girls with big breasts jump around killing things go for it."

Well that was a sexist remark.. but that was probably one of the main reasons for watching Shikabane Hime.. (for me)

I imagined all kinds of (ecchi) possibilities where the main character (Oori) would need to show Makina his (manly) feelings.. but he can't.. or he could, but it would be kind of sick .. cuz she's a walking smelly corpse!!

Too bad none of those things happened though (I think).. bleh..

Anyways.. what a sexist remark..
