This show is absurd in the best ways. Short skits make up episodes, displaying various hijinks that the cast (our main trio, along with many other colorful characters we follow almost as often) get themselves into. A good portion of the comedy I'd consider "slapstick," with the rest being slow builds to a gag-reveal.

Daily Lives of High School Boys is funny in the way that growing up is funny; you're a teen, you don't know how anything works, and you're fumbling to figure it out. But you also have this idea that you're brilliant, and it comes off just as ridiculous as it sounds. Many ... situations in the anime (those that were not downright impossible) mirrored my interactions with friends, growing up and now (I guess we didn't do much growing up...).

My only complaint is that we don't have a second season. </3

WARNING: EPISODE THREE IS NOT JUST "LOLI." THE TERM FOR IT IS TODDLERCON.

I'm pretty apathetic to underage/lolisho, but toddlercon freaks me out. So I had to skip the second half of episode three (which was sad, since the boy for that was super cute :( oh well). It's pretty out of left field, so straight up, if you just want to enjoy the first two and last episode, go for it. You aren't missing any plot in the second half of ep 3 (am I watching for the plot? ...yes).

Episodes are comprised of two parts each, save for episode one, which mostly just sets the ... scene. It can be considered two parts, but feels more cohesive than the others. She gets raped every episode, never fights back in any meaningful way, and has some rockin' tits. If that's your thing, give this a watch.

Shalban is awesome. Enough said on that front.

Quality is fine, better animation than most hentai I watch, though it is censored. Tits don't look stupid, but even though the cocks are blurred out, they look wonky and misshapen. Sound isn't great, the stretching noises when her mouth, ass, or pussy is penetrated are... they sound like stretching and tearing rubber while simultaneously fucking a mayonnaise jar. It's unsettling, honestly. Not sure when that trend started in hentai, but quite a few are now implementing such... unsettling noises.

So yeah, unless you're into toddlercon (you do you, man, long as it's fictional) then don't skip episode 3 part 2. Or only watch that part. If you're anyone else, skip it.
