I got into this anime a long time ago, probably in the early 2000's when 4Kids was still around. I found the sub online and got really into it.
And then I spent a lot of time playing the games, and there's a noticeable difference in quality between the games and the anime.

This could have been one of the more cherished manga that I've read. This could have been a sweet story that people love for the same reasons they love Yotsuba&! or Spy x Family.
Bunny Drop trashed it's own reputation with the Wife Husbandry trope, with the father figure agreeing to a relationship with his sixteen year old adopted daughter.
