About Me - Part 1:
I like colours, bright colours. Bright clothes are also fun. Catherine Wheels are pretty when they're spinning. I like dreaming, but i don't remember many of my dreams. I leave my curtains open at night so i can watch the moon. I like to stay up late. Night time is better than day time. I like mountains, and meadows, and snow, and the smell of freshly cut grass. I like sad songs. And happy ones. I like to watch things that have a meaning or a message.
I like picking PVA glue off my fingers. I like to run, but i don't like running. I dance like a maniac without caring what people think. I go out on tuesday night, and get up early on wednesday. My trousers are too loose, even though i have a belt. I live for now. But sometimes then. I look forward to tomorrow, but miss yesterday. I eat cheese in chunks from the fridge when i'm hungry. Orange juice is tasty. I own too many t-shirts. The volume always has to be on an even number, but fives are ok. Sometimes i drive too fast. Sometimes i drive too slow, just so i can listen to the next song. Sometimes i drive too slow because i don't want to get there.
I spend too much money on things i don't need. I spent too long writing this.
My Favourite Quotes:
" It takes an idiot to do cool things. That's why it's cool." - Haruko Haruhara
"...Watermelon. Or like a panda with a mean face, or like sandals with pressure points drawn on them, or the smell of a blackboard eraser, or a Sunday morning where you wake up and it's raining. Well, I like him more than hard bread. " - Mamimi Samejima

I'm good. :) You?
Huh.
You?
I'm sick. It sucks to be sick. T_T
You?
But it was too long for a wall post, anyhow. So I'm going to send it as a direct message. Enjoy the intervening tenterhooks.
There's an idea that the Internet is allowing us to become more ourselves, because we're supposedly able to interact on a level that transcends gender, race, physical beauty, etc. Sort of the direct opposite of Bentham's panopticon--no one can see us, and we aren't being watched/judged at any particular moment unless we choose to appear. And that allows us to re-create ourselves.
I think that is mostly a bunch of idealistic crap, and it still doesn't satisfy me why some people have photographs of themselves on MAL and most don't.
Nostalgia is one of my favorite indulgences, although I think it's a bit dangerous.
You're an interesting person. What do you do, when you aren't watching anime?
I never know how to reply to people on this site. One might say, "Thank you, I like your taste as well!" But then, the conversation's over. (Really it hardly began.)
So maybe I'll try for a real conversation this time. You seem like the sort of fellow who likes to let his experiences happen to him. As in, really happen to him.
I think that's pretty cool.
