It's fine, that's pretty much it, the arts nice and it's an interesting concept but doesn't actually work with any of the world it builds. The "under dog class" rising to the top can be extremely interesting (look at Assassination Classroom for a great example) however the 2 characters we spend literally all our time with both have "I can't feel/express emotion" syndrome making all their character interaction very boring. Not to mention I don't really know why the side characters hate D class, we're told there is conflict but never shown and all the interesting plots are between the higher classes like C class ...

Beastars (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Overall the anime is great and explores prejudice from multiple aspects and sides, carnivores deal with "you just want to eat me" while herbivores deal with and inferiority complex thanks to the carnivores perceived strength and agility.
The animation is a little jarring to get used to since it's computer generated 3D models but if you can look past that it doesn't impact the story negatively and even adds to the views spacial awareness.
Characterisation is fine if a little bazaar but that's kind of the point, there teens who are trying to find themselves in a world which designates you carnivore/herbivore/omnivore, of course they aren't to ...

Blood Lad (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Overall the anime is well animated, voice acted well and utilises camera angles to convey power and equilibrium in character conversation. However it suffers greatly from information over-load: setting up for a second season that has yet to happen.
In ten episodes were introduced to: Fuyumi; Staz; Bell; Liz; Braz; Dek; Mimic; Mamejiro; Saty; Nyen; Heads; Wolf; Franken; Beros; Goyal; ‘Wolf King” and Arkim
Each having there own backstory, motivations, and inter-character relations which on top of explaining the structure of the demon world and the different areas/districts inside of it plus the hierarchy of control: makes it very disconnected.

Every episode adds more unnecessary information ...
