Although these shows have completely different genres and forms of comedy, they both achieve goals and character developments relating to finding success starting from the bottom. Kongming is similar to Seiya in being strategists and leaders for the rest of the cast in helping to encourage them to be themselves and follow their dreams. Without spoiling the end goal of both seasons, they have to reach a certain level of talent, growth, and popularity through holding crucial events that are the culmination of all of the efforts put into the entire season beforehand. TLDR: - Utilizes comedy to supplement drama and character development and growth - Have an end goal of a satisfying a certain level of growth to be successful - Kongming and Seiya are strategists leading the cast - Take place in the real world with some elements of fantasy/fiction (Kongming historical) - Main girls Eiko and Sento pushing themselves to be better leaders - Completely unique and unconventional plotlines with developments of side characters as an effect of the strategists.

Vampires and the supernatural exist with an eccentric girl and a "normal" boy that gets roped into a different part of the natural world from his normal everyday life. Monogatari focuses on curing and the consequences of being cursed by supernatural creatures while Yofukashi is more down to earth about how being a vampire sets you free from normal life everybody else lives in. Overall the dialog, themes, art style, camerawork, etc. are very similar while being made by different studios and different enough to stand out as their own stories.

They are done by the same studio of P.A. Works with a 12-year difference in when they're produced. Satoki Iida is a sound director for both series as well, hence some similarities in the OST and vibe from background music. Both series integrate music and performance into the plot and characters while touching on reincarnation from a previous life. In Angel Beats, all characters are in the middle ground of being reincarnated while Paripi Koumei has Kongming reincarnated within the first episode. Producing music is a passion for characters in both series, although in Angel Beats this applies to only a couple of characters for a couple of episodes while Paripi Koumei's entire series and cast focus on music.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season Part 2

If you loved the action, adventure, worldbuilding, and especially the focus on characters and character development from one of these series; you will love the other. Both of these series claims that shouldering the weight of being a hero or savior should never be done alone. With the help of friends and family, what initially seems too impossible of a goal may just become possible and possibly fester and twist in unprecedented ways. Overcoming these added challenges ultimately requires growth and understanding, and as both series progress the main characters will come to realize this along with their supporting cast. With who were intitally believed to be enemies can become your best friends and vice versa with friends to . The ambiguity and plot twists both present will keep you hooked to the end, and give what is truly some of the most satisfying and heartfelt conclusions in all of anime. Although Re:Zero is expected (but NOT YET confirmed) to have more seasons after this, reading ahead in the light novels is definitely worth the time in expanding on the world the anime has barely scratched the surface of. Gurren Lagann's world progresses through different time periods of growth all to satisfy the cast's and audience's hopes and dreams by the very last scene in just 1 season.

Both worlds have monsters which only certain people are able to see. In JJK they're called Curses while Mieruko calls them ghosts. Monsters have similar demented designs. JJK focuses more on action battling these monsters while Mieruko blends comedy and horror (may have some action later) Protagonist in both becomes aware of these monsters in the first episode.

Both these series explore heavy themes surrounding death and how immortal main characters can comprehend seeing their supporting characters die. They also face insurmountable odds against threats mere humans cannot accomplish without the help of their abilities to remain immortal. Each new challenge and person they meet leads to growth and change in their personalities as they learn more about the people in their world. They're technically also both Isekai'd into their respective supernatural worlds along with their supernatural abilities. In Re Zero the main character comes from Earth while in Fumetsu the being is from some higher order realm (Gods?). The only difference between these abilities is in Re Zero the user can time travel into the past before they die while in Fumetsu the user stays in the present by infinitely healing despite taking many fatal injuries. Yet these have limits malicious characters taking advantage of which halts their progress.

-Similar theme of classmates bonding over video games primarily, though sometimes through other means such as group hangouts and field trips. -Learn life lessons and values of having friendships at school and outside class -Main guy in both starts out very antisociable from the way they grew up, though eventually see life in a better light and worth living -Builds up a group of friends with many girls, with not all being love interests so they aren't full Harems Hagani is a lot more Ecchi and over the top with comedy, while Tomozaki is more critical in its relationship building, yet both come with drama challenging some of their relationships.

-MC is a female who sets out on a journey involving different witches and magic -MC are innocent and young women learning how to grow up with the help of a wide variety of characters they meet on their journey. -MC has a loving and supportive family who oversees their growth -Asthetically pleasing scenery and background setting in a fantasy world -Elaina is more of an episodic drama and comedic fantasy while Howl's has an overarching action and romance fantasy with a large scale conflict. -Howl's deals with a far more supernatural world where a walking scarecrow and a fireball are sentient while Elaina deals with more human-imposed magical abilities. Don't be fooled, both series do have point where the story becomes dark and emotional despite the initial light-heartedness setup in the beginning.
