BEWARE! THE AWESOMENESS OF THIS ANIME IS TOO ADDICTING! YOU WERE WARNED!!!

The anime follows the exploits of Shirahama Kenichi; your average student who's always bullied (thus earning him the nickname "Weak legs"). One fateful day, he meets Furinji Miu (a fellow student) who helps him overcome his fears and he begins training at the Ryouzanpaku Dojo under six exceptional martial artists.....

Every episode will have you dying from fits of laughter; the gags aren't overused hence they never get old. The action and fight scenes aren't over-the-top (just the right amount of reality + unbelievable). Art style is pretty good, sounds used suit ...

Golden Boy (Anime) add
One of the first anime that I had the pleasure of watching (on VHS, remember those? lol) Golden Boy is about a young, male university dropout as a student of Life, helping various people along the way only to leave when his "work" is done.
This anime is a classic that has withstood the test of time; excellent story, character, art (for that time period), enjoyment, etc. 6 episodes that leave you wanting MORE because it is so damn good! Also, the re-watch value is VERY high.........you will never get tired of it no matter how much times you view it.

An anime classic, I highly ...

Mixed Feelings
An anime that starts off as your typical "don't take me seriously" all of a sudden makes a complete U turn! It was a fun ride but the twist I am mentioning.........will hit you like a ton of bricks! I'm not sure if it was intentional or completely accidental on the writer(s) part........who knows?

Other than that, there is really not much more to speak of. It is truly an odd one that would generate mixed reviews among the anime community.

Mixed Feelings
This anime could've been one of the greats.........

It starts off with a very interesting perspective psychology and mental illness..........a murder mystery theme with the writer(s) keeping the viewer guessing at each turn and succeeding in confusing A LOT of people (as evident by many of the comment sections under each episode on various site).
However, I honestly wished they continued with the psychology (for example, if the main character had paranoid schizophrenia or dissociative identity disorder) but sadly, they don't. All we get is a rushed, stereotypical storyline with a farcical plot. I was very disappointed with how it turned out.

I would still recommend this to ...
