Hellper

Although Dorohedoro and Hellper are of different genres, Seinen and Shonen repsectively, they both share similar elements in tone and art. Both series have a sort of uncanny art style that is very detailed, yet sketch-like in nature, that ends up being very unique and unusual. Both stories also have a very strong sense of black humor that is also incorperated into the fast-paced fight scenes, Hellper being based around hell, and Dorohedoro having all sorts of death. Despite this glaring similarities, there are also some more minor ones. Both stories have very developed antagonists, almost to the point where you cheer them on. Also, both series have at least one character whose power seems mundane at first, but is revealed to be very effective.
