BELOW IS HOW I RANK ANIME:

1/10: There are very few anime I will rate 1/10. These few are so "bad" that they are gems, and therefore I honestly feel like they are worth a watch. (Example: Utsu Musume Sayuri)

2/10: If you see an anime I rate 2/10 that you have not yet watched, you should steer clear of watching it. It is a waste of time. It is objectively bad. (Example: Asobi ni Iko yo!)

3/10: These are the ones that I personally really dislike, whether being hard to watch due to a terrible/cringe plot, or are just flat out boring and hard to finish. (Example: Kanokon)

4/10: I have designated this ranking specifically to anime that lack substance (not necessarily terrible, but definitely bad), or sequels or spinoffs that add nothing of interest to the original series of their anime, and are therefore not worth watching. (Example: Dragon Ball GT)

5/10: Kind of a weird spot for me, cause its a ranking where I definitely got a little joy out of the show, but due to embarrassment from even having watched the show in the first place, or gaping deficiencies in plot, characters, and/or animation/style, I just didn't find it to be a "good" show. Still in my range of bad shows, but maybe worth a watch if you like the genre, as each one has at least one good to great redeeming piece, an example of which being Anya from Spy x Family.

6/10: A lot of these ones can be summed up into two categories: 1. The show was a let down. It started out really good, and the plot, characters, and animation had a lot of promise. These ones passed the 3 episode rule with flying colors, and I had thoughts about ranking these 8's, 9's, or even 10's in very rare cases. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the show deteriorated in quality, stopped developing its plot, or the ending was such a let down that I felt cheated for my time and initial affection toward the show (Example: Osamake). The other category of shows that I often rate 6/10 are ones I thought were pleasant the entire time, but nothing really stuck out to make it that "good" of a show. (Example: Noragami)

7/10: This is probably my most common rating, as I find a good deal of the anime I watch to be enjoyable and unique in their own right. These are your run of the mill "good" shows, better than average with some great moments, characters, etc. but overall not good enough to reach that "great" anime status for me. (Examples: Naruto).

8/10: Now we are getting into the ones I really enjoy. These are ones I consider "great", and all of them are consistently good and stick out from their peers in an impressive way in one facet or another. (Example: Ansatsu Kyoushitsu)

9/10: These either left me glued to the edge of my seat constantly, made me cry, or built a fantastic world that I couldn’t get enough of. I am very stingy about giving a 10/10 rating to an anime, so all of these 9/10’s that “didn’t make the cut” are still utterly fantastic watches and remind me why I am such a big fan of anime in the first place, and are levels above “good” or even “great” anime.

10/10: There is no such thing as perfect, but these are the closest thing to it. These can't just be great anime, they have to touch me personally in a way that I will fight for in forums and rave about the reasons I appreciate these anime so much that other people may not see. These are the ones its gonna be hardest to sway my opinions on, but I dare you to try (In a respectful manner)! (Example: Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken)
