I decided to give this anime a shot,thinking that it would be good. The plot sounds so very interesting. At one point i though to myself “this can be very funny” Oh how very wrong i was. I refused to give up on this show, even though i could not bear to watch a whole episode without doing something else. This is a show you have to judge for yourself.

the first few eps, things changed a lot. They just sorta forced the story. They would never give out proper explanations. When it reached episode 8, I had no idea what i was watching anymore. Things started to clear up a bit towards the end. Then it had it’s biggest “what in the world” moment I have ever seen. No resolution for the story at all.

The art was very captivating, It was one of the few things that kept me watching. Such pretty art to gaze upon.
The character designs also had a nice feel to them. The backgrounds are drawn very nicely.

The soundtrack is awful. and I found it to be the weakest point of Glasslip. I had to skip the intro every time and cut it off as soon as the show ended so I would not have to listen to the end song(yes i call it that).

To me,The next weakest point of Glasslip are the characters.In my opinion,they are very one-dimentional,boring and forgetful.They had no type of character development whatsover,As they focused too much on the story and romance to properly develop the characters. The couples was very boring. I know others also feel this way. My fav character was Yanagi. She is the only reason I put the characters over the sound. Kakeru was also interesting up till the point he wanted Touko so badly.

I did not enjoy Glasslip,there are many moments where I just wanted to drop it and stop watching. However I gave this a 6 because I hoped and hoped Yanagi would notice how dull her “dream guy” was. Also I hoped Kakeru would see how stupid Touko is. The 6 is from the hope I had of Yanagi and Kakeru would hook up. The wait was not worth it. I’m actually going to give this a 4(only because of the hope).

Glasslip is a bad anime,It had the potential to be better and improve. But they did not use it. I’m giving this a 6 because hey what do I know. Maybe i did not understand it. Maybe it should be that way. I do know it was the worst anime of the season for me. Good luck to anybody that watches this. You will need it more then goku needs a power up every fight.
