Story 10/10
+ Short comedy sketches for plenty variety and laughter, slice of life, middle school, very accessible comedy subjects so everyone will snort/giggle/spit out no matter their background or culture.
- No real story progression.
Art 10/10
+ If the artwork itself doesn't convince you, it also uses nice textures and unique rough style for extra comedy relief. The drawing style changes at the perfect timing and is carefully selected and developed for the anime format, truly clever work and excellently worked out.
- The live-action puppets at the end after the ending theme were a bit of a turn-off though I do see it fit
...
perfectly within the quirky format of the entire anime.
Sound 10/10
+ the voice acting is truly super, such a wide variety of sounds which usually would never make it into an anime which make for a, nice contrast in opening and ending theme song even though both aren't really my style it's a smart move and fits the series to a T.
- Hanako's voice actress: please take care of your voice, you're brilliant so I wouldn't want you to suffer any consequences, even though I bow to your brilliant talent.
Character 10/10
+ A somehow loveable and hilarious trio of oddballs, new characters don't just vanish after the subplot has been concluded and show up again during segments in other short stories
- No real deep dive or character development, whereas I did become a bit too curious for Aozora's development, though I will definitely check out the manga for that.
Enjoyment 10/10
+ This anime had me laughing. out. loud. in public the first time I watched it and even after the third rewatch I'm still snorting, crying and spitting out loud in amusement. A true masterpiece on all fronts.
- Even though rewatching is still plenty enjoyable, I wish I could have the experience of watching this series for the first time again.
~
Overall of 10 and I don't know what else to say but to just watch this series as it's way too hilarious and good to pass up on. Everything (yes all weird aspects of it) work perfectly together which just shows how carefully it's been put together. Please make more of these types of series, it's even better than (dare I say it?) Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou or Lucky Star!

Story 10/10
+ Isekai, fantasy, magic, romance, super light-hearted, no cliff hangers, no rushing.
- Perhaps the flatness of the danger and deeper development for a bigger contrast, though that's exactly why this was such a pleasant watch.
Art 10/10
+ Beautiful attention to the mouth specifically, in some important scenes you feel the care put into those precious moments , the hands in the last scene were also beautifully drawn and eye-catching.
- There is some slacking of in the far-away characters and the backgrounds as the series progresses.
Sound 9/10
+ Great and varying voice acting, really loved the ending song as well which was soft
...
but upbeat.
- Opening song was a bit sappy for my liking and seemed to leave it at an awkward fade-out, not sure if intentional or not.
Character 7/10
+ This series does a great job at making you like every single character, the heroine is pretty realistic as well which makes you feel for and with her very accessible.
- Character development is a bit flat, was a bit disappointed at Hawke's lack progression the most.
Enjoyment 10/10
+ Thé perfect series for a casual watch and a pleasant fizzy feeling.
- No groundbreaking novelties or story, just enjoy the little choo-choo train as it trudges along.
Total of 9.2, overall so a real fun and pleasant watch. Just don't expect too much, simply one to enjoy at your leisure on a lazy Sunday afternoon or some such. I'm definitely going to check out the manga and probably even buy the entire series when they all get published - unless the characters remain as flat as they do, which I sincerely doubt as there are still 2 volumes to be written!

Story 8/10
+ comedy, romance, fantasy, music, magical powers, controlling weather, betrothal; good progression and pace.
- sometimes the reverse-harem genre popped up a bit; hint dropping for the deeper drama to come after this season whereas this was the perfect time to leave the story as it is for people not really liking too much drama and existential crises.
Art 10/10
+ Attention to detail (opening song enhanced to the story progression each time was truly lovely), more realistic colour schemes, loosely-based medieval kingdom setting, no slacking off during the last episodes.
- bit more old-school so some rough transactions/movements at times
Sound 10/10
+ nice
...
voice acting, songs and music; the rain songs were serene and wonderful; also loved the few typical recurring soundtracks
- could've done without the English in the rain song
Character 7/10
+ good character development for the main cast
- not too much attention to side characters; Nike being a goody-two shoes almost becoming borderline unbelievable/tiresome; bit of an ethical issue as I sometimes couldn't see the child in the sun king, though it's understandable why some decisions were made to highlight a certain point.
Enjoyment 9/10
+ A girl with a gift softening a tyrant king's icy heart, what's not to love?
- The hint dropping for deeper 'purpose'/'fates' to come does make it feel unfinished so I was compelled to read the last chapter of the manga to sate my own curiosity ... alas, to my disappointment, though I greatly enjoyed the anime.
~
Overall 8.8, great story on its own and nice to watch an episode a day.

Story 10/10
+ Renaissance Italy, seems like decent research was done as well to portray the life in this historic time period, comedy, with a hint of romance, no focus on religion or other such political issues (less drama) though they do get mentioned
- Not clear which period exactly through other well-known painters/happenings
Art 10/10
+Much detail to renaissance style, love for art seeps through the anime, most beautiful hands drawn even in the last episodes
- some real artworks renditions for anime don't fit as well (some are adapted to anime style, others not)
Sound 9/10
+ nice background sounds, some reoccurring theme song for certain characters were fun and
...
recognisable
- no real remarkable intro & ending songs
Character 10/10
+ earnest hard-working girl, much in-depth history and character development, ambiguous actions,
- X
Enjoyment 10/10
+ Perfect for renaissance lovers, not only for painting but life in this historic period in general
- Not certain how historical correct it all is
~
Total of 9.8, overall real fun read. I'd even buy the manga if it were available in English, but alas, only in e-book format. I'll still keep my eyes our and perhaps buy the french or italian version even though I might only understand half of it - that's how good it is and how much it's worth supporting its further publication.

Story: 9/10
+ romance, comedy, calculated/tactical thinking, comedy, romance, slice of life
- more focus on romance (in exchange for less battle of wits), yet without much progress on that front, and comedy
Art: 8/10
+ beautiful art, better than the manga, distinct characters but not overly obnoxious so they blend in with npcs and background.
- certain digital moving implementations of the characters, more so than in the first season and slightly annoying.
Sound: 8/10
+ again fun opening song, good voice-acting befitting each character
...
- voice acting shifting with character development
Characters: 9/10
+ very diverse group of characters, fun interactions, more character-development than last season
- certain character developments shift characters from their original set-up
Enjoyment: 8/10
+ fun to binge-watch because it's so cute, but also perfect for loose episodes
- romance doesn't progress much
~
Total of 8.4, very good, though less hyped than after season one, I will still look out for the 3rd season and hope to either get some more story development on the romance front or hope to get back more of the battle-of-wits which were truly hilarious at points.

Story: 8/10
+ fantasy, reincarnation, second try at life, magic, calculating/tactical thinking, not too heavy nor too light
- harem
Art: 9/10
+ nice clean style, attention to background details and movement at some points
- few sloppy finishers but not too bothersome to be annoying
Sound: 9/10
+ intro is worked into the story
...
- no iconic or recognisable soundtrack
Characters: 6/10
+ in-depth characters with good and bad points
- easily overcome trauma, overly aggressive tsundere, god
Enjoyment: 4/10
+ harem didn't kick off yet
- quite a few clichés, cliffhangers, season not finished and still in the middle of a sub-story plot
~
Overall of 7.2, good, but some plot turns stop me from continuing onto the second season or to rewatch this one. If it were a longer season, I probably would've stopped before the 10th episode.
