What a great anime. I recommend it to each and every otaku out there.

STORY:
From the first episode I said " Hey I can relate to that! oh and that! and that! Oh *** that's my life!"

There was the real part of the otaku life but the funny and interesting too. I found myself waiting for each episode every week. I felt like those guys where my friends because we had so many things in common.

CHARACTERS:
They managed to capture basic types of otakus but not in an annoying way. Each character had their negative and positive traits which made the anime both realistic but funny ... and interesting too.

ART/SOUND:
Great opening, sweet background music which could fit every scene and not just random sounds.

STORY
-Event the idea was quite intriguing and this anime was one of the first to add as plan to watch, it disappointed me in so many ways.

CHARACTERS
-The main character - Tsutsun - was completely uninteresting, and even if he was kind-hearted, he had no special traits at all. Otakus are not that plain. Just look how famous WOTAKOI became because it shows the bad and the good, the true behind loving anime stuff how we got related to that!

-The girl. There is a good side and a bad side of course. The good one: She had superficial relationships all this time for some good reasons, ... to feel her empty heart, and she wanted to give a chance to a different type of a guy. Although she had the expectation of him to treat her like he had a tone of relationships before and made him so miserable and he lost the tiny confidence he had. I didn't like the guy, but that was really shitty of her and made me feel annoyed of her. Also, she knew she would go away in 6 months, but for her own good she was ok with putting this boy in all this trouble, falling in love with her and then break his heart when she would go away. She took advantage of him.

ART?SOUND
- worse than mediocre, plain, it was clear the animation company didn't try much for this project

-The story was developed nicely and step by step. At first the whole idea about butlers really picked my interest, since it's quite alluring for girls as you all know.
I liked the cafe background, and there was a good ratio of mystery/slice of life.

-But after the first half of the series, the fantasy/supernatural part grew ubruptly and was upleasant. The balance was lost and all the huges and serious events had to get stuck all together in the end. That's the problem with the -low budget- anime. They can be amazing, but only if there is time to develop and present the story with the ... right speed.

-The characters were interesting even if there were many cliches but I was expecting that, and it wasn't unpleasant. Being mainstream in just one thing isn't bad.

-Last but not least, the I was annoyed because the story is about a girl that we never found out why was so important. Yes we watched the backround story about her, but it wasn't deep enough to make us feel sentimental.

-There are better anime like this to watch, but if you want sth chill and not too serious and you like hot guys, well give it a shot

One of the sweetest anime about friendship. I myself love coffee, so I very much enjoyed the cafe scenery. Also, the town in which the anime is located is so picturesque that made me feel I want to visit it. The story is quiet and peaceful, and the best way to start your day.

The characters are sweet and unique without pushing it to the edges like the typical harem anime, in which each character tends to be so annoying, because they want to stand out.

The soundtracks also calm and sweet make you feel like you're inside the cafe, or in the park - ... they're cheerful and give you the sense of happiness.

I'm definetely watching the 2nd season, and I recommend it to every otaku friend here, who wants to relax and enjoy a beautiful casula story with cute but not provocative girls.

I haven't seen such lame main characters in my whole life.
The anime would have been a little better if the main story was about their friends , the class president and that cute playboy.
The main character-the boy wasn't even attractive or at least cool. He didn't have anything to stand out or to be interesting in any way.
The same goes with the girl.
I thought it would have been a good rom com but this was beyond boring.
The scenery and soundtracks made it even more boring and it was hard to keep watching till the end of each episode.
The last 2 episodes had some ... interest but then again it failed tragically.
I think I lost my time with this one. It was a complete contrast with other Rom-coms of the season like Tsurezure Children, Aho Girl, even Hajimete no Gal was better and more interesting!
I DON'T RECOMMEND IT.

I wish Aho Girl had more and longer episodes. I enjoyed every single minute of the anime. Althought, I hope I never have such a friend, collegue, neighboor, acquantance in my life. I haven't met such an annoying and stupid person in my whole life :'D

The opening is hillarious, and I laughed even with that. I pity poor A-kun for everything that came across his life because of that stupid girl, but she's so funny I can't be mad at her!

There is a genuine, silly and spontaneous humor, and it's worth watching more than one time!
Highly recommended by me, while having watched ... 300 anime, most of which are comedy.

Having the "shounen ai" tag, I expected something low quality artwise, BUT the art, animation, sound, colours and design were surprisingly good!

The story is quite interesting itself, so the romance between the two boys doesn't stand out as much as in other shounen ai anime.
There was character develpment, the feeling of freidnship and bonding and aaaah the opening and the ending are amazing <3

If you like shounen ai this is a MUST WATCH.
Most of the times the mangaka,and the fans, don't have expectations and they feel that just the romance amd some extreme scenes are enough, and the anime is all about ... some minutes of romantic moments between boys.
Well Hitorijime my hero is an anime to enjoy from the very start to the end.

First of all I'd like to admit that even if I'm a girl, I enjoyed the dirty jokes and laughed a lot.
There are some scenes that may make you feel uncomfortable if you are not watching alone, but it's nothing too much or to worry about.

I feel the need to point out that Nene's boobs are so huge that it seems incredibly unnatural. i can understand the whole idea about loving big boobs,but that's just hillarious.
The other thing that stood out was that all the girls were all about Jounichi. Ok it's a harem anime, but it's awkwardly silly to see those girls run ... behind this couple. They could have been a little more competitive about winning Jounichi but they were just side characters with no reason existing, even if they could be more important to the development of the storyline.

The best part of the anime was Jounichi's friends. They made all the jokes and created all these funny situations. Virgin boys ftw!!!!!

I don't usually find shoujo anime so interesing, and never rate so high.

I believe it's a must watch, and not only for girls. It's really funny, without being the humour being forced.

Another thing that should definetely be mentioned, is that the story is unique.
Rather than following the typical romantic flow every shoujo anime has, it leaves the romance lying behind the story without interrupting it, and making it expected and boring. On the contrary, there are some unexpected and exciting scenes that make your heart flutter.

The characters are undoubtedly funny and interesting in their own special way, and they're rather handsome- I guess ... that's important for the girls who want to watch it ;P

The art is quite good, without exaggerations, and the music helps you get into the mood.

So yeah, my advice is : MUST WATCH <3

First of all I wouldn't recommend it for someone too young. You need mental maturity to watch NHK, and understand specific situations.
Also, I wouldn't recommend it to people who want to watch something cheerful and happy.

Now my opinion: One of the otaku's "must watch". It stimulates emotions that no other anime could do. The characters are different from the basic impressive style you may see in mainstream anime. They have come across harsh events, and keep on facing difficulties.
You will find out what those people think, and how they handle their thoughts.
It's an opportunity to widen up your emotial field, without being you ... the one affected.

Give a chance to uncommon and unique anime. Because NHK is one of them.
