Exploring a complex in a young woman through the medium of VR battle Royal, is a novel idea, but so many decisions are just wrong or boring, a height problem for the MC is both boring and too subjective to be relitebale, the game is too generic (PUBG with lightsabers), so any setting background is out the window, the decision to go with an action plot is a mistake due to the lack of any conflict in the setting, that in turn can't house anything but mundane characters, with normal boring relationship acted by gamers who love to roleplay.

I feel like I have to explain my self and why I didn't enjoy this show.
to be brief: I thought that the setting was commentary about society, turned out that it was a set up for a Romeo and Juliet story. (which is unoriginal to say the least). And it is without a doubt a furry show (anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics). the art however is amazing, worth a watch just for it, Orange's staff mastery of Non-Photo-Realistic 3D rendering is industry leading and far away the best in class, shame (for me since this show did great) Orange didn't adapt ...

It is like the pitch of Fire Force but more like the second part of Gurren Lagann, I mean almost exactly like the second part of Gurren Lagann, you haven't seen Gurren Lagann? well watch that instead.
But unlike Gurren Lagann there is a lot of CG, like 70% of the movie is CG, Good CG, with great art direction and a magenta color scheme. The character are either a rehash or a trope, but they look great with a bit of western cartoon sprinklings here and there.
