This anime is a great start for people wanting to get into the Lupin franchise. Lupin the third is a big franchise that has had many iterations since the 1970s. This anime has a lot of episodes so be prepared for a long ride. The main characters are in high school and through odd circumstances end up mixed with a strange and cool characters called soul reapers. There is plenty of action and character building in this. They grow up and gain new powers and form bonds. The Soul reapers are a huge bunch and very different from one another that they stand out. Since this is considered a remaster of Dragon ball Z, it is not much different from the original anime. It does not have filler and uses the japanese soundtrack. In comparison to the original, this version felt dry and lacked the charm Dragon ball Z had. The plot moves quickly and does not have unique episodes that added to character development like goku and piccolo driving a car.
