Yona of the Dawn is the gem I have been waiting to come across. Out of all of the typical, same underlying theme in many current animes, this one really shines. Characters are unique, plot is well-thought out, interesting premise, amazing art and sound, with a fun element of humor = PERFECT!
Story 10/10
Amazing. In the beginning of watching this, I was quite skeptical. The protagonist seemed annoying and typical boy-crazy girl from the get-go. But as the plot progresses, we see how the trauma of witnessing her father's murder by her childhood crush/friend affects her and the way she looks at life. We see how
...
she becomes stronger in her quest, picking up a bow and arrow, swallowing her fear of heights, and doing her absolute best each day. The plot is easy enough to understand once it is introduced: legend of 5 dragons who get reincarnated. Yona is the crimson dragon who seeks out the other four in her journey.
Art/Sound 10/10
BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL, and WELL-FITTING.
The art and sound really give you a nice sense on the time period.
Although, the Lady Gaga-type 2nd opening was a little strange, it worked, so whatever. Usually people don't watch openings unless there like Tokyo Ghoul or Mirai Nikki or Vampire Knight. But this anime didn't need a flashy opening to get my attention. The trailer was enough.
Character 10/10
YES! Each character was very individual and unique. (These descriptions probably sound incredibly weird before watching)
Yona- once spoiled princess becomes a strong warrior. Cute, and rather unaware, a perfect link between her comrades.
Hak- hot childhood friend AKA the Lightning Beast (no really, that's what he's called). Yona's protector, has a little bit of a crush on her (but really, who doesn't?)
Yoon- "Beautiful", knowledgeable , slightly arrogant boy. Not my fav, but interesting
Kija- White dragon- Hilarious to watch his rivalry with Hak to protect Yona
Shin-Ah- FAVORITE. Sad childhood of the blue dragon. Quiet, withdrawn, but hilarious with his sidekick, Ao, the fluffy squirrel.
Jae-Ha- Narcisstic green dragon. Pretty funny pirate.
Zeno- the one we know least about-the yellow dragon. Childish and constantly hungry.
Enjoyment 10/10
Not a dull moment. Laughed my face off. 'nuff said.
Overall 10/10
Don't think I really need to say anything more.

I just finished this anime a minute ago and I don't know how I feel afterwards. I received a lot of spoilers before watching this anime, so I knew about the ultimate sad conclusion it would come to, but I never could have anticipated the roller coaster it would take me on before dropping the bomb.
STORY 10/10
Just....amazing. This anime falls under a short list of animes with realistic, tear-jerking endings for me, because I typically avoid animes that make me cry my eyes out. But, after so much nagging and showing up on a bazillion recommendation lists, I had to try this one
...
out. And I am so glad/mad that I did.
You could tell from start to finish that the creators of the plotline knew where they were going with this story, how to get there, and ultimately how to get the most important message across: that life is short, and each moment, no matter how small, is precious.
CHARACTER 9/10
From a piano prodigy who has lost the ability to hear his own playing due to trauma to a free-spirited girl whose personality is more than what meets the eye, I have to say the character foundations were quite good. It was easy to understand the psyche of each character through their backstories and how the presence of one another affected their lives. The only thing was that I wish maybe there was a little more development into the characters. The basis was perfect, but by the end despite all of the tears streaming down my face, I feel like I still didn't fully know the characters inside and out. I got caught up by the art and music and tears that I just felt like I got washed away. I'm not really sure if I cried because I truly loved the characters or if I cried simply because by the last episode literally everyone was. I don't know. I just know that I feel really sad right now with that bittersweet ending. But ultimately, I guess that wasn't the point of the anime.
SOUND & ART 10/10
I'm just putting these together because they worked together so well that they were pretty much synonymous. Although I still pretty Guilty Crown's perfect combination, Your Lie in April was a very worthy competitor and is probably my 2nd favorite in terms of sound/art combo at the moment.
ENJOYMENT 8/10
Again. Can't give this a ten because I felt like I was being tortured in the middle with all the tears and helpless feeling about not being able to look away, knowing what was going to happen in the last episode.
OVERALL 10/10
Beautifully constructed. Deserves a 10 from me.
(To be honest, I wanted to spoil the heck out of this review, but then I realized how much I disliked the way people spoiled it for me, so your welcome. But I will warn you, prepare the tissue boxes. Even if you're the manliest man or toughest girl on the planet.)
Yep, I hope this review was good. I have no idea right now. I'm in the state where I feel like I just woke up from a surreal dream. But I knew I had to write a review for this one, even if it was a little half-baked.

Tokyo Ghoul √A....how do I even start this review.....
Okay, I'm just going to start off by saying if you're expecting just an amazing badass continuation of the first season, you're going to cringe a little---scratch that, a LOT while watching this....
After the amazing first season, I was just REALLY, REALLY disappointed by this continuation. It was a sloppy storyline without a true focus, just a bunch of storylines and characters smashed into twelve episodes. UGH!
Story 5/10
This makes me SOO sad to say that I gave the 2nd season of TOKYO GHOUL this poor of a rating. I mean, it's even lower than what I
...
gave Bokura ga Ita and Kare Kano (I think). Okay, that's not right. Let's get this straight: it wasn't downright TERRIBLE, more like downright DISAPPOINTING.
Okay, so the season starts off a pretty decent way with Kaneki exiting the toture chamber and what not. Which leads to my complete confusion. No, I have not read the manga; don't know if I will after this...maybe. UGH I DON'T KNOW. I was SO confused throughout this season. Maybe it's because I have a low I.Q. PSH no! Nothing was explained like, at all. The entire thing, we got one half-assed explanation of what a Kakuja was. Don't get me wrong, explanations can be long and annoying, but in this case, they were absolutely necessary yet absolutely NONEXISTENT. I never got closure on why Kaneki's hair turned white or why his nails were black. Just because he went full ghoul mode? Because his fingers/toes got ripped off repeatedly? That makes even less sense. Did the help paint his nails? And how did they retain the color for that long? (I'm a girl, trust me, I know how it works). Okay, I never got that, but I let it slide because, well Kaneki is a total hottie now and it's not an essential must-know thing. BUT what about everything ELSE? OH. MY. GOODNESS. Someone who's read the manga or whatever please tell me!
And if Kaneki's the protagonist he sure didn't get a whole lot of on-screen time. Half the time the focus shifted from episode to episode from crazy Mado's daughter and Amon's love story (..I think? Even the kiss was stopped! Is that a relationship???) to irrelevant Hinami's coffee conversation with Kaneki's fav author to Touka's hardcore studying (WHY WERE SO MANY SCENES SPENT ON THAT???) UGH. I am so FRUSTRATED. I found myself, hoping, PRAYING, that Kaneki would get an episode.
I'll admit the final battle scenes with the Anteiku staff was pretty cool though. But like most of the season I found myself dragging myself through it. It was kind of....boring. I really hate to say that.
Art 8/10
Pretty great, awesome. Opening theme's presentation wasn't nearly as visually satisfying as season one, but fine, WHATEVER.
Sound 6/10
Okay, maybe I just don't get it, but the opening theme of the second season was so DISAPPOINTING. I mean, obviously it's hard to match season 1, but what! I literally SKIPPED the opening theme! I never did that in the first season! And the soundtrack didn't always mesh quite perfectly like the first season. Battle scenes just didn't feel right anymore.
Character 5/10
There were so many plot jumps there wasn't enough time to do all of the characters justice. Too many new unnecessary human beings/ghouls stuffed into the plot. I feel like I didn't learn any more about the characters that were already there than I did the first season. Other than the old man. That backstory was pretty cool. Really sad, but probably my favorite part. WHAT IS THAT! WHY IS MY FAVORITE PART A BACKSTORY?
The characters I wished to see more of almost disappeared from the plot completely. Got way more unnecessary screen time of the creepy cannibal sniffing his handkerchief. People say they cried at the end and I ask why. I didn't even feel sad because none of the characters that died were represented enough to the point where I actually got attached. Even the BFF only popped up once in a while as the nosy ghoul nerd and at the end. PSH.
Enjoyment 6/10
Meh, I can't say I hated watching it. I just found myself more bored that I expected. Confused.
Overall 6/10

You won't find many people who watch/read Kaichou wa Maid-Sama that don't like it. If so, they're either (a) a guy, (b) not a shoujo fan, or (c) cray cray. (No offense to anyone and if you are a guy and you like it, kudos to you man! You rock; let's be friends :D)
Story 9/10
Maid-Sama is a VERY entertaining romantic comedy that is enjoyable throughout consistently. The only thing I wish that it had was a little more fluidity regarding plot. The storyline just follows the life of Ayuzawa Misaki, a headstrong and sometimes devilish-looking girl, who absolutely hates men with a passion and became
...
the first female student council president in her once all-boys high school. Hence, the title of this anime Kaichou wa Maid-Sama (The President is a Maid) Her hatred of men originates from her supposed abandonment by her father towards her, her sister Setsuna, and her mother, who struggle with poverty often, leading our heroine to work at a maid café doing easy labor for a more generous payroll. One day, Usui Takumi discovers her secret and the plot continues on from there following the development of her romance with Usui and her daily trials as the President and a maid.
Overall a nice story that I thoroughly enjoyed as a hopeless romantic.
Art 9.5/10
Very comfortable to look at overall, with a blemishes here and there.
Sound 10/10
I have nothing to complain about, so a 10 it is!
Character 10/10
I loved the individuality of each character and how their personality traits were easily expressed by physical features (ex. Sakura, curly hair= very bubbly and happy personality)
The strength and hardworking personality of Misaki is amazing and very admirable and it is entertaining to see how she handles her roles as both Maid and President.
Usui. Oh Usui, how can you NOT love him? Good at everything he does, Misaki's competitor/future lover, good-looking (even in glasses!) Cat lover, weird, and as described by Misa: "a perverted alien from the planet Phermos." (XD)
Enjoyment 10/10
LOVED IT. SO HILARIOUS.

YAY FOR SKIP BEAT!! I watched this a while ago, but I decided, Heck this definitely deserves a review. I have rewatched and rewatched this anime on Crunchyroll. I absolutely adore it.
Story 10/10
Main girl gets gipped by her childhood love, sets out for revenge by challenging him in the entertainment industry.
AMAZING. FANTASTIC. DOWNRIGHT PERFECT.
Art 9/10
...
Comfortable to look at. First anime I've seen with this type of style in the eyes, and yes, I did actually like them. I'll admit that sometimes the physical builds of the characters bothered me a little, but it wasn't anything major and unacceptable.
Sound 9/10
Nice opening/ending themes. Music perfectly showcased what was going on. Great, but not enough of a standout to me to deserve a 10.
Character 10/10
I LOVE THE CHARACTERS SO MUCH IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. Do I need to say more? Probably not, but I will anyway.
Mogami (Main) LOVE HER. Strong, independent, and a little naïve. Determined, headstrong, and kind.
Ren LOVE HIM. I can't really put my finger on a particular trait, but I love the way he interacts with other characters.
Shotaro/Sho/Enemy of Mogami Arrogant, selfish, has trouble expressing his feelings to others.
Enjoyment 10/10
Considering how many times I've watched this, I think it actually deserves an 11, but hey that's not allowed.
Overall 10/10
As anyone will tell you, downright awesome.

Just finished watching this last night. I overall really liked it, but I was slightly disappointed with the ending, I felt like it was slightly incomplete. So I might read the manga. Maybe.
Story 8/10
Decent. At first I was a little alarmed by the similarities it drew to Saint Tail, but meh, whatever. I liked it enough, so yeah. Whatever.
Main=Thief=reincarnation of Jeanne d'Arc (I'm assuming Joan of Arc)
Romance: Absolutely there. Wished there were more episodes to fully showcase it. Typical good girl/bad boy.
...
Art 6/10
Slightly displeasing to my eye, because I'm not a huge fan of when the eyes are overly big, but meh, didn't bother me too much after a few episodes.
Sound 7/10
Pretty good. I just didn't really like how some of the music was really random and out of context. Why, WHY would you use Beethoven's beautiful Moonlight Sonata for evil? But overall, good. I liked the first opening theme. Nothing that special though.
Character 8/10
Okay, relatable. Some were slightly annoying, but hey, this is a shoujo genre. That can't be avoided really.
Enjoyment 9/10
I did enjoy it, so yeah. 9 is a pretty good score for this.
Overall 8/10
Kind of like your typical shoujo story, with a few unique characters. It wasn't particularly special to me though.
(Sorry for the extremely short review, was rushed)

Ok, so you know how when you're writing a review the rating 10 says "masterpiece?" Well, yes Guilty Crown quite perfectly, simply put, a masterpiece. This is probably one of the best animes I've seen recently----well, actually probably ever. Yes, many people have complained that it is too similar to Code Geass. I can't say that I've finished that anime, but just from the very first episode, I can say: yes, there are a lot of general similarities, but not enough to say plagiarism. And besides, it really wouldn't be since both stories come from the same creator. But, on the standpoint of just drawing
...
me in from the first episode, GC accomplished this almost effortlessly.
STORY 10/10
Perfection. Wonderful. LOVED IT. Very well-thought out, kept me on the edge of my seat, fluid guiding throughout. The main plot was very unique with the idea of voids, the virus, etc. I'll admit I was a little confused in the first couple of episodes like, "why do they have purple crystals on their face because they're inflected? why isn't it a rash or whatever? why is Shu so messed up? What's with Inori's robotic-like personality?" But I found that all of my questions were gradually answered as the anime went on. There were so many plot twists that had me like, "Oh...oh..OH MY GOODNESS." GC's creator=genius.
Loads of action with a pinch of romance, and large general theme of friendship, courage, etc. Pretty much hit all of the clichés. But the way that these themes were expressed was unique, and I feel slightly more realistic then portrayed by other animes. It wasn't always sunshines and rainbows. Many of these relationships came from loss and bonding, etc.
I was NEVER bored in this anime. I wish there could be a season 2, but after the ending, I don't think it'll happen. All knots were tied neatly, and although the ending made me a little sad, it was beautiful. (Yes, I'll admit it, I cried a little)
ART/SOUND 10/10
There's no denying it. If an anime's appearance and soundtrack have me cringing, I probably won't watch it. NOT the case here. From the first second of this anime, you're immediately drawn in by it's beautiful, I mean BEAUTIFUL art and music. Inori's songs are absolutely perfection and get the right emotions across every single time. I think had it not been for her singing at the end, I probably wouldn't have cried. The emotion is SO compelling. The art is VERY comfortable to look at. I loved each character's outward appearance. They were very easy to distinguish by all the subtle details put into the designs, and just wonderful.
Character 9/10
This is the only category that does not receive a perfect score from me. Don't get me wrong, I loved how each character had their own separate personalities, back stories, etc. I just wish that GC had more episodes to completely display their potential growth. The creators did a great job with the 22 they had, but I just wished there had been a little more development, especially from one of the mains, Inori. Yes, I get that she wasn't fully able to develop due to her character makeup, but I wished that her relationship with Shu was more convincing. It felt a little rushed. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints regarding characters.
I would like to give a shout out to Hare and Gai's characters. They were probably my favorites in this anime, mostly because they stood out the most. Hare was one of those characters that was easily distinguishable with her undying friendship, selflessness, and sacrifice. Gai was overall badass. There's no mistaking it. From his first introduction right off the bad he is beating people up effortlessly and I'll admit it: he looks hot while doing so. And somehow he pulled off the long hair and still looked amazing. The main, Shu, was great as well. I applaud the creators for not sugarcoating things like loss in him. I like how you could easily tell how death greatly impacted his character and personality.
ENJOYMENT 10/10
Psh. I've already said this multiple times. Freaking LOVED IT. Would watch it again. Where's the like button???
OVERALL 10/10
Guilty Crown is going to remain one of my favorites for a while.

When I first saw Cardcaptor Sakura, I was thinking : "another magic girl series. and this time she has a stuffed animal with her." Every time I finished an anime, I would look for recommendations and almost every time Cardcaptor Sakura was there! Now I really regret not watching it earlier. It was just so amazing, despite the fact that it was SEVENTY episodes with three seasons together. The first and second seasons were mainly about Sakura, the main character, collecting the clow cardst that she had spread throughout the world by accident. To be perfectly honest, it could have ended there, but I am
...
SOOOO glad that it didn't. The third season was my absolute favorite. For three reasons: (1) it had A LOT of character development (2) a hint of romance (the kiddy kind, but it worked) and (3) because it had so many unexpected turn of events. (I won't tell you because I don't want to spoil it.)
But either way, Cardcaptor Sakura is an anime that ANYONE and I mean ANYONE can enjoy, regardless of age or gender.
Story: 10/10
There's just no way to NOT give Cardcaptor Sakura a 10.
In the first few episodes, it starts off like any magic girl series where the heroine is having her normal life until she accidently releases/does something, giving her magical powers, and then she must do certain things to make up for her mistakes/ help the world. That is definitely the case in this anime, however, it has several twists and cliffhangers making it equally addicting and enjoyable.
Like any magical girl series, there is some sort of transformation needed for the heroine to use magic, but I like how in Cardcaptor Sakura that there is no extremely long three-minute transformation of clothing (which I usually skip over in ANY series). all that she needs to change is her key, by making it into a wand, a LOT shorter than your average transformation (you know, the EXTREMELY annoying ones.)
Throughout the series, there are a TON of cliffhangers and completely unpredictable events. Cardcaptor Sakura has the ability to make every character, regardless of whether it was a friend or brother or even a DEAD person, somehow important. (For example, a two certain characters I felt had no essential role in the series, so Ididn't really pay attention to them. BIG MISTAKE. in the end, their roles were SOOO huge.)
For those of you who enjoy romance, you might want to try this one out. Yes, the main character is a FOURTH/FIFTH grader, so it is the rather kiddish kind, but the directors of this anime still somehow manage to make it work. There is one MAIN love triangle. One of those guys is the older, nice, and basically "perfect" guy in any anime (well, if you watch all three seasons, that decription is not ENTIRELY accurate, but on technicalities, it's true) and the other one is the same age as Sakura who is the outside "cool and mean" character and inside "extremely kind and secretly has a crush on the airhead" guy who first competes with Sakura, but eventually comes to like her and even love her. So the romance, isn't that intense, mature, dramatic type that most people like, but either way, I'm sure you will enjoy this one as much as I did.
Throughout the series, Sakura's main goal is to collect all of the clow cards and eventually become their official new master. She catches/changes about one card per episode, and the series goes at a pretty fast pace. The story takes place for about 1-3 years. (never clearly states).
I was slightly disappointed with the ending, for certain reasons, but that's just my PERSONAL opinion. Even with the ending after finishing this anime, I was a little bit depressed because it was OVER!!!! :'(
The story was sometimes slightly confusing, but I really liked how piece by piece everything became clearer and clearer.
I was rather vague in the story because I didn't want to spoil anything (it is WAY more enjoyable when you're clueless about what's going to happen), but I hope I was SOMEHOW helpful.
Art 9/10
Well, the art is a rather old style, but it has its own unique flares, so it's pretty good. This was one of the only series that I've watched where the heroine has pretty short hair. (pretty short meaning barely goes past her ears, except for a few stray hairs.) but I liked how the artists drew Sakura. They had a constant cute and kiddish theme going on that was pretty comfortable to look at with her several outfits, provided by her friend Tomoyo.
The artists also are very detailed in backgrounds, dress wrinkles, hair textures, tree bark, metal dents, etc, etc. (well, I suppose a lot of anime is, but Cardcaptor Sakura did a pretty good job, considering it was made a LONG time ago.)
Sound 10/10
I loved every single song in this anime. ALL THREE seasons. They were really good when putting sound effects and dramatic flares in it. I don't have any complaints about it.
Characters 10/10
This anime had A LOT of character development, especially in the second and third seasons.
Sakura: the main character. Your average heroine who is inhumanly kind, the one who has to save everyone and the one almost everyone absolutely loves. and if they don't like her at first, they grow to love her! Sakura is a fourth grader who has lost her mother and lives with her slightly mean big brother and extremely kind father. She is the one who the story revolves around and needs. She has a crush on Yukito, not knowing that someone else is always watching her from afar, wishing that he could confess. (well in the third season, anyway.) The only thing about her that I didn't like was because of the fact that she was absolutely terrified of ghosts. IT got slightly annoying after a while....
Other characters have roles as well (OBVIOUSLY) and like I said earlier, they ALL have some sort of essential part in the story that is needed.
Shaoran/Syaoran/XiaoLang (different ways of saying/spelling): the mean character who secretly has a crush on Sakura. (in third season) Also gifted with magical powers due to his shared blood with Clow Reed (the creator of the cards). I felt that he was rather strange, but it's later revealed WHY he is so....emotionless/mean/strange.
Yukito: the other half of the love triangle in which Sakura has the school girl crush on. (he's the same age as her older brother, who's in high school). Warning right now: Yukito is not a character to be ignored!!!!!
ANYWAY, he has an extremely kind personality and an apetite as big as an elephant. Strangely enough, he's never fat, despite the fact that he eats a TON and I mean, A TON of food to satisfy his never ending hunger and....something else (SPOILED, if told).
Tomoyo: the slightly stalkerish best friend who always videotapes Sakura, regardless of event or time. She make outfits for Sakura to wear throughout, so Sakura is almost always wearing an outfit made by her when battling.
Toya: big brother, calls Sakura "monster" a lot and has some abilities as well, that no one except two or three people know about.
Keroberos (Kero-chan): the heroine's companion and the beast of the seal trapped in a plush toy form. Helps Sakura throughout the story, playing a crucial role.
Erm....well, there are a ton of other characters, but I feel that the ones above are probably the ones that should be focused on most.
Enjoyment 10/10
I enjoyed every single episode in this series. (well, after the second.)
I have no doubt that anyone can enjoy this truly unique anime.
Overall 10/10
Cardcaptor Sakura is a truly magnificent piece that I'm sure you will enjoy. My review has been rather vague, but I hope it was slightly helpful at least. THanks for reading! (Note: my third review, so not THAT great.)

All subject areas: 10/10.
I have loved Fruits Basket ever since I was a kid. I would watch episodes over and over again because I loved them so much. In the end, I even ended up reading the manga as well, just to see how it ended.
Story:
I found Fruits Basket's story rather unique. Tohru, the female lead, is discovered living in a tent on Sohma property after her mother's death in a car crash. As it turns out, one of her classmates, Yuki Sohma, lives there as well, and invites her to stay. However, soon enough, Tohru discovers the Sohma family's curse of the chinese zodiac.
...
The twelve Sohmas who are possessed by the spirit of the animal turns into his or hers other form whenever he/she is hugged by opposite sex or under a great deal of stress. As the story progresses, Tohru begins to learn about what the curse has really done to the Sohmas, and she promises the head of the family, Akito, that she will keep their secret. But little does she know that he has something else planned for her.
Fruits Basket is an amazing story with a love triangle between Kyo, Tohru, and Yuki, but it doesn't develop that much in the anime. If you want to see that, then I recommend reading the manga.
Art:
I truly loved the art's style. The artist used the right illustrations for rather more serious characters and more easy-going ones. They also use the appropriate style for whenever there's a funny moment or a serious one. Fruits Basket's art style in my opinion, like the rest of the anime, is rather unique as well, and it's comfortable to look at.
Sound:
The directors of this anime perfectly incorborated the right sound effects and music for every single second from the song right down to the boiling water.
Character:
I felt the characters were absolutely perfect in Fruits Basket:
Tohru: your average, clumsy, but sweet heroine who manages to bring a smile to everyone's faces. She is the main character who really brings out the best in people despite her tragic past. (if you read the anime, you eventually learn more about why she's the way she is.)
Kyo: the shunned cat of the zodiac who has a rather bad temper, but he gets progressively kinder throughout the anime with Tohru's help. (He secretly loves Tohru and had his path crossed with hers a long time ago. ---shown in the manga)
Yuki: The "prince" and rat in our story. He is extremely talented and has a rather sad past as well, like all of the other characters in the anime. Kyo's rival since birth due to their "cat" and "mouse" curses.
Shigure: a novelist possessed by the spirit of the dog and perverted. Adds a lot of humor into the story. Owns the house that Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki live in.
Other characters are important as well in their own ways, but I'm only going to tell you about the main four.
Enjoyment:
Well, I ABSOLUTELY loved fruits basket. It's very nice to watch and has funny moments, but has a plot that develops as well. (a little more in manga).
Overall:
Overall? Who needs an overall? I loved ALL of it.

Story: 9/10
I gave Full Moon wo Sagashite a nine due to its heart melting plot about a girl who wishes to be reunited with the boy she loved through a singing career, but isn't allowed to, because of her throat cancer. Two shimigami come and tell her that she only has a year left to live. With the help of the shimigami, she is able to become a famous idol and begins to pursue her career before she dies. A lot of the anime I felt wasn't necessary. Example: things like jobs, trips, etc. This anime starts off pretty...."boring", but the ending was so amazing
...
that it makes up for the first half.
***If you choose to watch this anime, WATCH IT TO THE END!!! The beginning is a little hard to watch, because it doesn't really lure you in, but I felt that the ending was absolutely amazing. It didn't overdue it and left you guessing. (which is usually not a good thing) but in this anime, you could literally imagine and know what would happen next.*****
For those of you out there, who love comedy and touches of romance, this is definitely a must-watch anime for you.
Art: 7/10
It's not horrible to look at, but I personally am very harsh when it comes to judging art. I mean, when you're watching the anime, it's what you're going to be looking at the entire time!
It is a very "cute" style, but overall, I thought it was acceptable.
Sound: 9/10
When you know that an anime is about a girl trying to pursue a career as a singer, you automatically assume that it will have good music, which is pretty true in this case. The main character's voice is very beautiful and the songs leave you wanting to sing them along with her.
Character: 9/10
Like in most animes, you have the extremely kind female lead who goes through a time of depression, but gets back up. I felt the characters were very well introduced. You got to see flashbacks from their pasts, shedding a little light on why they are the way they are, and there's character development as well.
Enjoyment: 8/10
The only reason I gave this anime an eight out of ten for enjoyment is from the beginning. I felt it was really boring, but the ending completely blew me away, so I think that you will love this anime when you finish.
Overall: 9/10
Full Moon wo Sagashite has a few spots where I thought it could have been better conducted, but overall, it was truly a great anime that is a must-watch.
I hope this review was at least a little bit helpful.
