This anime tells about a young hopeless girl in love. Just who does she fall in love with? None other than the cold hearted genius of her high school. Itazura na kiss tells of the hardships the two face through out their school lives, while ever so slightly falling for each other.
The whole thing was well thought out, the humor was most enjoyable, and the romantic parts made you just what to cry out in awe. Itazura na kiss's characters were fully developed as well as the plot with it's complex "twists and turns". It was expanded quite nicely over each episode, and it

At times it can be very "disturbing", but overall it had a good plot to it. At the beginning, it seemed very much like one of those non-stop hentai novels, which I don't particularly care for. Over time it smoothed out and it was actually pleasant (to a certain point).
The lead female is always being saved by the lead male character, which left me with a nice sensation, however, I don't really recomend this to younger teens or children.

I, who have attention span, can't watch boring anime for very long, however, this anime kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Some parts can be a little bit scary (even though it's just an anime), so I DON'T reccomend watching it in a dark room or late at night. The plot is expanded perfectly and it explains quite often throughout(that way you won't be confused). Also, those that only watch anime that have good looking people. . . This anime is outstanding, I personally believe this is one of the best anime I've seen. |
