Well, there's really not much I can say in this review, seeing as how I've covered almost everything from the show in my review of the manga on youtube.
The anime adaption of the manga, "High School of the Dead", follows the manga almost to a "T", but there are a few differences. One key example is the fact that Busujima no longer has her katana at the beginning. Instead she starts off with a bokken, and while at first this annoyed me, I grew used to it pretty quickly. After all, who takes an actuall katana with them whenever they go to school?
Now when it
...
comes to changes in the series, that's pretty much all there is to it so far. However there are only 4 episodes out at this current moment in time, so that may be subject to change.
Ok, now to get to the more technical aspects of the show. First and foremost, I feel that anyone watching this review will prefer to wait for the uncensored DVDs. This is mainly because the extremely gory scenes have had a slight shade added to them, making it to where, while you know what's going on, you don't see all of the violence.
The producing stations for this series are Madhouse Studios, which has also produced such series' as, "Death Note", and, "Chobits". And Sentai Filmworks, which has also produced the series, "Mahoromatic". Both of these stations have been working extremely well together on this series, and have made the animation feel both dramatic yet simple at the same time. Which allows it to keep this horror film and comic book feel.
On to the voice actors and their previous works:
Komuro, Takashi is voiced by Suwabe, Junichi. Who has also voiced many well known characters from other series'. Key examples of his other works are: Grimmjow from Bleach; Greed from Full Metal Alchemist; Archer from Fate Stay Night; And Fuuma from the Series, "X".
Miyamoto, Rei is voiced by Inoue, Marina. This voice actress is known for quite a few roles, but us americans will more than likely have only seen one of her roles. Her key works are: Yoko from Gurren Laggan; Ushiromiya, Jessica from Umineko no Naku Koro ni; And Tachibana, Wataru from Hayate no Gotoku (AKA Hayate the Combate Butler)
Hirano, Kouta is voiced by Hiyama, Nobuyuki. This has got to be my favorite voice actor for this series because he has voiced most of my favorite characters in other series'. His key works are: Balmung from .hack//; Black WarGreymon from Digimon; Shiro Amada from Mobile Suit Gundam the 08th MS Team; Hayato from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam; Orson from Record of Lodoss War Chronicles of the Heroic Knight; And Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho.
Busujima, Saeko is voiced by Sawashiro, Miyuki. This voice actress has a great talent for getting a characters emotions across while making them seem cool, calm, and collected. Her key works are: Xia, Yu Lan from Full Metal Panic the Second Raid; Mint from Galaxy Angel; Springfield, Nagi from Negima; And Cammy from Street Fighter.
Takagi, Saya is voiced by Kitamura, Eri. This voice actress definitely has a talent for playing the smart, angry, or insane characters. Her key works are: Saya from Blood+; Myousai, Kakouen from Ikki Tousen; Juri from Street Fighter; Siesta 410 from Umineko no Naku Koro ni; And Rima from Vampire Knight.
Marikawa, Shizuka is voiced by Fukui, Yukari. This voice actress has the least amount of roles out of all the main voice actors, but don't let that fool you, she's bloody good at what she does...Pardon the pun. Her key works are: Nono from Gunbuster vs Diebuster; Kuribayashi, Yayoi from Mouse; Sara from School Rumble; And Nia Teppelin from Gurren Laggan.
Well folks, that's all there is left to tell you about the anime adaption of this series. All in all, I think it would be best for people to wait for the uncensored DVDs, but all in all I give this series, yet again, 4.5 stars out of 5. This is Alberio signing out, and reminding you to keep that trigger finger itchy.

This part of the series actually takes place several years after the events of Saber Marionette J to X.
The three main characters in this part of the series still maintain the same names, but are completely new models. Lime is now more childish looking with brown hair; Cherry as well looks like a kid, and has red hair (she still has pretty much the same attitude though); Bloodberry looks like she's in her teens again, but has black (a.k.a. dark blue) hair and a more mature look and personality.
While I am a huge fan of the other parts of the Saber Marionette series, even I
...
have to say that this one seems to be the best out of all of them. Maybe it's due to how the story is told, or maybe it's due to the fact that the animation style fits the new surroundings, which are more western.
This part of the series often gets overlooked due to how old it is, which is a real shame with how good the story is. The story itself was actually an old raido show that was broadcast in Japan many years before the J saga came along, which ended up getting animated (thus the reason for the R saga only being a few episodes long).
In the end, this saga has a different feel than the other parts of the Saber Marionette series, and may not be liked by everyone. But I suggest that you give this short OVA a shot if you find it.

Once again, most of the stuff that I covered in my review of the first season applies here, but this time I have to say that the story was a bit more detailed (thankfully). The opening is also a true opening from the get go this time. Unlike in the first season, where the first few episodes had a half-assed opening put together for it.
This time there's another vampire that appears, who reveals herself to be Moka's sister, Kokoa. Kokoa is constantly trying to get Moka to revert back to her original self, causing all sorts of problems for the cast. So as you can
...
tell, there are some more comical situations.
During this season the character growth is done quite a bit faster, and Tsukune gets a chance to actually be the one doing the saving (it's about time).
All in all, this season of Rosario + Vampire I believe to be a bit better than the first, so go give it a shot if you like a good comedy.

Well, it seems like almost every comedy anime out there wants to be the new, "Tenchi Muyo", and this series is no exception.
Now I'm not saying that that is a bad thing mind you. The story is a little unique in it's own right, but there are many similarities to other shows out there. For example:
Many girls, one guy = Tenchi Muyo
Two personalities dependent on a specific item = Yu-Gi-Oh!
Girls always save guy = Ah! Megami-sama!
...
Many situations from misunderstandings = Three's Company
Ok, now that I have that out of my system...This series is actually rather well done. The main characters are easy to get used to, yet don't seem generic. Character growth is a little slow, but it does exist. And while the show has a heck of a lot of, "fan service", the story is still the most intriguing part of the show.
Now I have yet to read the manga of this, so I do not know how it will compare, but I do know that if you take the show as a completely different experience, instead of trying to make it hold up to the book (like most people do), more than likely you will enjoy it...Especially if your a guy (don't deny it, you all know that you like fan service shots).

"Hayate no Gotoku", season two is definitely a graphical improvement on the first. I'm not saying that the animation from season 1 is bad, I'm just saying that the new animation is an upgrade from the original.
...Anyhow, the second season is more of the hilarious fun that we know and love. All the characters have returned with full force, bringing with them more aspects of their personalities which were seen in the manga version. A definite plus in my opinion.
This time the focus isn't set as much on Hayate's debt as it is the slight romace that goes on between the characters (though Hayate
...
still isn't able to tell if a girl is hitting on him. Good ol' ignorant Hayate.) One of the characters that the season seems to focus on most is Hinagiku, and how she realizes a new fact about herself.
Also, this season does NOT pick up after episode 52 of season one. No, this season takes place right after episode 25, helping keep a stronger closeness to the manga.
(A.K.A. Null ALMOST all the episodes that take place after episode 25 of season one)
This series is one that I recommend to people young and old alike. If you like comedy, want a romance show, or just plain ol' want to watch something different yet familiar, this is a show for you.

I'm just going to get straight to the point, "This is, in my opinion, the best of the Gundam series' that are out there."
The reasons for saying such I will state without my personal opinion added. I have taken a poll of all of my friends, whom I have had sit down and watch the series, and tallied all of the different aspects that they believed added to their experience of watching this specific series.
The first thing I noticed on their papers that I had them fill out, all but one of them gave it a 10/10 on story. When I asked them why they
...
put such they normally replied with, "I guess the reason why I like the story so much is because none of the characters are, 'special'. They're all typical soldiers with no special gifts, which makes it seem more like a real war." There were a few of them that enjoyed the romantic side of the story though.
Now when it came to art, all of those who I had watch the series + movie agreed that the art deserved a 10/10, mainly because of how the fact that, while the animation was smooth and well rounded, the mobile suits/gundams were done in a fashion that they believe beats out even Gundam Seed's style. When I look at the two series now, I can see why they said as such. The mobile suits are drawn in a much less blocky design yet still had a more mechanical feel to them.
Well that's all for the first part of my review on this series. I will post the last half after I get the last of the data off of the others.

This show was most definitely not what I was expecting. I thought that it was going to be showing a master thief stealing things, but god was I wrong. This show is all about fan-service, and that's it.
Ok, I'm lying about that being what it's all about. There is a slight story to it, and the characters are decently developed (no pun intended). At times you can feel some suspense, but it's mainly wondering what the three are going to do to Mouse next.
All in all, it's a decent show, but not worth me watching it a second time. And if it wasn't for the
...
hentai that surprised me by being in it within the first few minutes, I'd probably pawn it to try to get some of my money back.
(That rating on the box saying that it's for those 13 and up is complete bull.)
