The first season was decent although it was a bit rushed up but Root A was terrible!
Story - 3/10 After watching this anime, I might have to admit that I was really disappointed. I loved the manga but I hated the anime. Here are some reasons why I hate this anime :
1. Kaneki joined Aogiri Tree. Does that happen in the manga? No. He refused to join them.
2. They had left out most of the important parts. For example, about what happens to Rize and WHY Kaneki was turned into a half ghoul. They had explained everything in ... the manga but all those things were left out in the anime.
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!
3. Hide's death - I know that Hide's death is supposed to be depressing but it wasn't. And Kaneki kept on walking and walking in the last episode. I almost doubted that he'd ever stop.
4. There's a possibility that there will be a season 3 judging by how the second season ended. If they were to continue the story instead of making a reboot, then the outcome would be something worse than Root A.

If they had followed the manga, then I am sure that this anime would never get this much of hate.

Art - 4/10 Terrible! There's nothing much I can say about it.

Sound - 3/10 I listened to the opening once and I decided that I am not going to listen to it ever again. I always skip it. It's nothing compared to "Unravel". I have given 3 points for sound and that's only because of "Glassy Sky".

Character - 3/10 This season made me hate some of the characters, especially Kaneki. Joining Aogiri tree was the dumbest thing he did. The Kaneki in the manga is way different from the Kaneki in the anime. The same goes for the other characters. Compare that fight scene between Kaneki and Ayato in the anime and manga and see the difference.
Touka kept on running and running and running and running for so many episodes. Don't get me wrong. Touka is my favorite character in Tokyo Ghoul. It's just that running for four episodes looks ridiculous and it's completely unnecessary.

Enjoyment - 2/10 I did not enjoy it at all.

Overall - 3/10 It was a huge disappointment. I was expecting something better. They completely ruined something that should have been a masterpiece if they had followed the original story line. The only thing that this anime needs is a reboot.

I am not a huge fan of harem anime but this anime is different. And I have to admit that it was one of the best anime I had ever seen.
Story - 10/10 I could never give lower than that. After Story continues the story of Tomoya Okazaki whose life suddenly changed after meeting Nagisa Furukawa. In the first season. as we all know both started falling in love with each other and they finally became a couple. While the first season mainly centers on the school life of Tomoya and Nagisa, season 2 mainly shows what happens after they graduate. Tomoya and Nagisa gets ... married and lives a peaceful and happy life not knowing that their happiness won't last for long. This story is such an inspirational and heartwarming masterpiece! It shows what a real family should be like and what true love really is. I honestly have nothing to complain about. But I have seen many people complain about the ending. And as for me, I found it perfect! I won't write any spoilers here but I'll just say this ; please pay proper attention when they mention something about the light orbs. The whole story depends on them. The light orbs would grant you any wish BUT that wish has to be genuine. Otherwise it would not work. If you have already played the visual novel, then you probably know what I am talking about. However you don't need to play the game to know what light orbs are. You just have to pay proper attention to the story. They have mentioned it many times in the anime. If you pay proper attention to the story, then you would not have any problem with the ending. And please remember that this isn't just a slice of life anime. It's a fantasy. So obviously there's magic.
Art - 10/10 I have nothing to complain about. It's just too perfect!
Sound 10/10 The music was great! Listening to Clannad's soundtrack brings tears to my eyes. The opening was excellent. But I miss the old ending, Dango Daikazoku.
Character - 10/10 I have nothing to complain here either. All the characters were great! The only thing missing in this story was a proper antagonist. But I am not going to complain about that. The absence of an antagonist didn't make the story useless in any way. Tomoya Okazaki was a great protagonist. Tomoya is in fact the best protagonist from all the harem anime. He has much better qualities than most of the other protagonists in harems. Nagisa was great as the female lead. Some say that Nagisa is unrealistic and that she is stupid and ugly, etc, etc. But that's not true. If it weren't for her, Tomoya would be heading no where. He had no aim in life before he met Nagisa. She is kind, sweet and innocent. She is just the type of person that anyone would like. All the other characters were great as well!
Enjoyment - 10/10 If you love anime like "Your lie in April", "Air", "Kanon" or "Myself Yourself", then you'd definitely enjoy this!
Overall - 10/10 Everything in this anime is perfect! This is a must-watch anime for all anime fans out there. I'd definitely recommend this anime to anyone!

This is such an emotional anime.....I couldn't stop crying!!!!
It's so amazing how music brings people together.
First I'll start with the story. I'll give it a 10/10. Arima Kousei is a great pianist and a a former child prodigy. He was tutored by his strict mother who always beats him whenever he makes a mistake. So he never made a single mistake in any of his competitions. This leads to people calling him his "mother's puppet" and a "human metronome." People say those sorts of this when they are jealous. That has happened to me a lot. His mother dies when he is small. After ... that he couldn't hear the sound of the piano. He gave up. Later when he meets a violinist named Kaori Miyazono his life changed. She encourages him to start playing again by forcing him to become her accompanist. Then she later forces him to enter piano competitions. He does this reluctantly. I am not going to write the rest, since it may contain spoilers for the series. That story was really interesting. It grabs the viewer's attention. Music, comedy, romance and tragedy, you has it all.
If you are a fan of Clannad, Nodame Cantabile or La Corda D'oro, you might find this very interesting.

I can't seem to find anything to complain about this series. I just couldn't stop watching this. I laughed and I mostly cried. You will find out the TRUTH at the end. I have to say that I wasn't expecting that! It surprised me. But it made me happy. I am both a pianist and a violinist and I love music. That made me love this anime even more! If you love music and if you love anime, then this is what you are looking for!

This is a must watch anime. Everything is so perfect here. I am a huge fan of Agatha Christie. I love to read novels like Agatha Christie's Poirot and Miss Marple. I would gladly recommend this anime to any fan of Agatha Christie or anyone who likes detective novels and movies. But I have to say that it is not so good as Gosick and Death Note. Those two are on the top of my list.
First I'll start with the story. I give it a 9/10. It has a really interesting plot. After Huey's grandfather dies he was told to take the custody of ... the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian in order to inherit his estate. He was also given a key. He later meets Dalian who is the Black Bibioprincess. It is also known that Huey's grandfather was a Keykeeper. So after his grandfather's death he becomes the keykeeper. The archieve contains Phantom books which stores forbidden knowledge. Both Dalian and Huey set out on a journey to stop people from misusing the Phantom books in order to restore peace. Those two really have an interesting relationship. I can't say that there is any romance in it though. But I ship them anyway. I will not go any further because if I do they may contain spoilers.
As for the art, I give it a 10/10. There's nothing much to say about this. I just have to say that the art was great.
For the sound I'll give 10/10.
I'll give a 10/10 for character.
I'll give a 9/10 for enjoyment. The story just keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. You will be entertained until the last minute.
Overall I give this anime a 9/10. I just loved it! I would recommend this anime to anyone.

This was a really good anime. It's not something for people above the age of 15 to watch. You will definitely find it very childish. I would recommend it to anyone below the age of 13. It's mostly aimed for a much younger audience. It's definitely not boring. It is such an amazing anime for small kids. I watched it when I was around 12 years old and I loved it! The story was really good. It mostly revolves around Dit who is the main character. Later the story mostly revolves around Moreen. Most of you might know Dit from the 1st season. However ... the other characters are all new. Most of the people who have seen the first season might miss the older characters but you will definitely love the news ones. For me, the new ones are better. The characters were well designed. The opening theme was awesome (I prefer it without the vocals). I really enjoyed the show. It's a great series to watch if you love battles jut like the ones in Pokemon. And finally I have to say that this is an interesting anime to watch.

What comes to your mind when you hear the name Princess Tutu? Some girly anime perhaps? Never judge the book by it's cover! This anime was one of the best anime I had ever seen. It's not actually the type of thing for a person who loves action and adventure anime since the fighting scenes are ridiculous in this. When one of the characters said, "now that the time to fight has come", I burst out laughing. You can't expect to find good battles in this like in Naruto, Attack on Titans or any other action anime. But that's the only problem with this anime. ... Otherwise it's awesome. I would recommend this to any anime fan. It's not actually my number one. Nothing can replace Death Note or Gosick from that spot. But it will always be on my top 10 best anime list. But this is actually my number one romance anime. The characters were well designed. When you start watching this, there will be no end to it. You will want to watch it again and again. There is a plot twist in the middle of the series which none of us would expect. The story becomes even more interesting from that point on wards. This anime is not like those regular magical girl series we have heard of. It's different. Overall this anime was amazing!

I was kind of disappointed after watching this anime. I was expecting something else. I thought that it would be awesome. I only watched this anime because of it's name. I am a huge fan of anime and I love music. This is nothing compared to Nodame Cantabile. The problems that the protagonist is facing in Piano are not problems at all. She is not doing any thing at all. She is just playing the piano and crushing on some guy. She takes such little things as huge problems in life. Overall it's boring. I would never recommend this anime to anyone. There are better ... anime about music than this like Nodame Cantabile(both seasons) and La Corda D'Oro(season 1 and Blue Sky).

This is better than Cross days and Summer days. I only watched this anime by mistake. I was expecting something better than this. I only watched it because of the name it has. I thought it sounded interesting. But I was kind of disappointed. It's actually better the some weird anime that I have heard about and was almost going to watch without knowing what they were about. The only character whom I like here is Katsura. She is the only good character here. The others are such horrible people. This is not the worst anime I have seen but it is kind of weird ... and the story took a turn which I wasn't even expecting. Makoto deserves what he got as a punishment. I am not going to say what happened to him since we are not supposed to write any spoilers. The story would have been complete if Sekai was punished in some way. One stupid thing about this anime is that every girl that Makoto knows falls in love with him. It's completely ridiculous. And I feel sorry for Katsura since she didn't get a happy ending. I wouldn't actually recommend this anime to anyone. There are better ones than this. Overall this anime is kind of a failure.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS MANGA. This is nothing compared to the original anime. They even changed the story. This manga sucks. The anime was awesome. I enjoyed it a lot. But the manga is so horrible that I actually took the trouble of coming here and posting this review to warn the people who are about to read it. I wanted Ahiru to remain human but not like this. I wanted her to end up with Fakir not with Mytho. This manga might be good for Ahiru x Mytho shippers since it has so many Ahiru x Mytho moments without any Fakir x Ahiru ... moments. But the story sucks. They have turned the innocent Edel in to a bad person. I don't want to say anything more about this manga because it may contain spoilers. Overall this manga is horrible. I hated it.

This anime is excellent. It's my second favorite anime next to Death Note. Truthfully I found this anime boring when I started watching it. I even stopped and then only a few week later did I watch it again. That only happened with the first few episodes. But the rest of the story was too awesome. I never expected it to be so good. Victorique is an awesome detective. She resembles L from Death Note in many ways. But I think that she might be even smarter than L. Victorique and Kujo make such a cute couple. The ending was excellent. It's very ... rare for an anime to have such an ending. I never even expected it. I read a lot of crime novels like Agatha Christie's Poirot and I even watched the series on tv. I enjoyed this anime as much as I enjoyed Agatha Christie's stories. Overall this anime was excellent. So I would gladly recommend this anime to anyone.
