I really thought I would love and never forget RahXephon. Being a huge Super Robot fan made me super pumped to watch it. But it didn't really bring anything new to the table.
Characters:
Too unmemorable for me to have anything to say about them.
Sound:
Only two memorable tracks: The opening and the ending. But that's only due to listening to them 26 times. The rest of the music was nice to listen to, but forgettable.
Art:
It's simply nice to look at, but none of the character, mech, or Robeast designs was memorable at all. Same for the background art, which I've seen a million times before.

Story:
Sure it's a typical Super Robot vs Robeasts series, but the "mysteries" between fights are too vague to be interesting. Plus it takes far too long for anything to happen. ("Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah?" Is anything happening yet?)
Enjoyment:
Not unwatchable, but not the best. Why was this labeled an action series? I was excited for action, but then it turns out a single episode of Power Rangers had more action than the entirety of RahXephon. That's right. The unmemorable fights are few and far between, the "mysteries" weren't interesting at all, and the invincible RahXephon doesn't even have to attack anything for more than 30 seconds. And it ended with both an Anticlimax Boss and a Reset Button Ending, both of which I dislike.
Verdict: Average - go rewatch How To Train Your Dragon instead. That movie has an actual followable plot and an epic climax.

This show was an attempt to recapture 70's magic, but Casshern is totally irrelevant nowadays considering the popularity of his successors Megaman, Bass, X, and Zero.
Story:
The series is very repetitive. Although it revolves around how the cast deals with a worldwide plague, the same plot points are repeated over and over:
-Every single time cannon fodder tries to devour Casshern, it amounts to nothing.
-Every time a one-shot character is introduced, he'll be dead by the end of the episode and forgotten.
-Casshern walks around moping a lot (and the Ruin wouldn't exist if he was just left in the past.)
-Being depressing, it seems to drag on
...
and on with no progress.
And the ending was rushed - there wasn't even a sense of closure.
Art and sound:
They're pretty much the best trait of Casshern Sins.
Character:
All I have to say about the characters is that they have a chance of fading from the mind after you watch something happy and epic after this. A month after finishing this series, I totally forgot most of the one-shot characters.
Enjoyment:
Not great, but not horrible.
Overall:
If you've seen countless other fighting shows, skip this and go rewatch the previous seasons of Power Rangers instead. That show may be repetitive to some, but at least the enemies, weapons, and Megazords had high variety. And instead of just being depressing (Sad =/= deep) Power Rangers has aesops and gives its episodes triumphant endings that you will applaud.

Now and Then, Here and There is said to be a masterpiece, but is it? I was curious to find out without prejudice. I watched the entire series quickly thinking I would love it and its characters. The first episode made this series look cool, but then it went from bad to worse. Heck, its title is unmemorable with no other associations.
Story:
The main character is pretty much a pinball protagonist. He starts the plot by talking to a blue-eyed, blue-haired plot-device girl (a complete stranger), and failing to rescue her when she is assaulted by mechanical snakes, which take both of them to a wretched
...
hive. The MC is beaten, forced to join the bad guy's army, and bounced around like a pinball.
The "story" is very slow-paced, and isn't phenomenal at all. You won't be looking forward to what happens next at all. Don't expect anything special; you'll definitely find a similar, better-told story to NTHT's somewhere else. Plus at the end, where the plot-device girl uses her water powers to flood the bad guy's castle, destroying it without any help from the MC.
If it's that easy, then this series could have been over in two seconds. Especially if no one ever says there's any limitation to this girl flooding the castle (or anyone shooting the bad guy, for that matter.) Hell, somepony even decides to kill him, and that says something. Take the MC out of NTHT and the series would still end with the destruction of Hellywood by its flooding from the blue girl.
Characters:
I couldn't stand the main character. In addition to being a pinball protagonist, he would just make things worse when he tried to do anything. He also never acts traumatized or anything even if hung over a tall building. (The way he spoke reminded me of the far superior Kamina from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.) While NTHT's protagonist attempts plenty of heroic stuff, his actions have little to no effect on the story or its "resolution."
Then there's this really annoying yellow-haired girl. Worse than - say, Shinji Ikari (At
least he kicked butt AND got rescued from the Scrappy heap), Mikoto Utsugi (she yells a lot in GaoGaiGar but at least supports the heroes) and Misuzu Kamio (she's really whiny and does nothing) COMBINED. She is totally paranoid (just like the bad guy) never stops whining. Insecurity is her only emotion. Sure she's a rape victim, but not even a shell-shocked veteran would whine as much as her. And the series ends with her willingly staying in the crapsack world, where she can continue to be hunted down and eventually killed.
As for the blue-haired plot-device girl, she has no personality or emotions, and is very selfish. Honestly, she's nothing more than a watered-down (no pun) version of Rei Ayanami (who at least kicked butt.) Then after the Big Bad is defeated, she's disposed of like used tissue.
The characters are absolutely generic and forgettable. Watch something far more epic (like Fullmetal Alchemist and Brotherhood) after the final credits roll and they'll fade from the mind. I didn't name any of NTHT's characters because that's how memorable they are. Plus they couldn't influence anything by talking without action.
Art:
The character designs were so generic (and there's so little difference in their faces) that I had some trouble telling the child soldiers apart. It would also have been impossible if the show was in black and white. Even the action scenes could have easily been in any anime and I wouldn't bat an eye. If I didn't notice the title of this series, I'd have no idea which one it was.
Sound:
As mentioned above, I could never stand the yellow-haired girl's voice. The rest of the voice acting is not great, but not horrible. As for the music, there are no stand-out or memorable tracks, and it simply blends into the background.
Overall/Enjoyment:
This was a bad series which should have been over before the first episode. There isn't as much action as - say, the far superior Avatar: The Last Airbender (not even in the climax), and the action sequences aren't that great. If anything, they make things worse. They also drag on with still poses and slow motion. "This isn't an action show." Yeah, but it would have been far more interesting to follow an MC who actually influences things! As I sat through NTHT with high expectations, I had a countdown for how many episodes I had left. And you know you're watching a terrible show when this happens. There were no awesome moments, either.
Verdict:
NTHT gets a 1/10. It sucks, it stinks, it's a terrible series, and I don't like it! It even ends abruptly; there's no epilogue or anything. The only thing that was resolved is the death of the Big Bad, and there isn't even a proper denouement. The final shot made me feel like the MC REALLY should have stayed home and not talked to that blue-haired walking plot device. *I Avada Kedavra the show* Now go watch Puss in Boots (2011) instead; that animated action-comedy movie has a rewarding storyline and an epic main character you DON'T want to strangle.

This is nothing more than a commercial for the Gundam franchise. All That Gundam does serve as a good introduction to any given Gundam series. No plot here, just a cool music video.

Honestly, this is the only Key anime I've ever actually completed. Watched it all in two days. The rest...never really got very far. I dropped them and said I completed them.
Story:
Other two girls aside, here's the plot: (SPOILER ALERT) Misuzu meets a hobo who wants to stay with her, but she breaks down whenever she tries to make friends. Then it is revealed that she is cursed to die if anyone gets attached to her. And of
course, she meets Aeris and Dumbledore.
*end of spoilers*
The story isn't good at all, and Air is non-stop lack of action. Nothing ever happens.
Sound:
The soundtrack may be good, but
...
none of the tracks stand out at all, to the point of being mixed up with ones I listened to later in better anime.
Graphics:
This got more attention than the actual storytelling.
Characters:
Unfortunately, the characters aren't that great. They lack depth, and the parents don't treat Misuzu like a real child. She's no hero, either. None of the main girls can solve their own problems, as they don't even try to work things out themselves.

Overall:
Skip it. There are much better shows out there and your time is precious.

Hajime no Ippo - the Gurren Lagann of boxing shows (you'll even see a punching equivalent to a Giga Drill Break.)
Story: Great
Much like Gurren Lagann, Ippo has a great story and characters. It's never dull despite having 76 (counting the special) episodes. The episodes usually end in a way that will make you want to watch the next ASAP. Get ready for excellent character development with relatable characters!
Sound: Great
The soundtrack is very fitting for the situations each song is used in. I especially
loved the opening themes. "I want to dive lost mind..." Oh, it's hard not to chuckle with this Engrish.
Art and Animation:

Great
The character designs are very polished, and the fluid animation puts high energy into the battles.
Enjoyment: Great
Man, this was awesome! Punch, punch, punch - that's the old-fashioned fighting here. Have you played boxing on Kinect Sports, or Punch-Out for the NES? Then this is a series for you!
Overall: Awesome
This is something I would totally watch again if I had enough time.

Is Mars of Destruction really as bad as everyone says? Let's find out here.
Story: There's no originality whatsoever. Aliens attack Earth, proving to be resistant to conventional weaponry, and an armored hero comes to fight them. Sounds like Tekkaman Blade to me! Mars is totally rushed, with no plot twists whatsoever (other than a really lame twist ending.) The action scenes suck, and there is no suspense.
Art: Not that bad, but not memorable. However, Mars has very little animation, even in its "action" sequences. The characters all look generic (but I could have sworn one of the girls looked like Asuka Soryu Langley) and both

the aliens and armored hero look like Power Rangers rejects. When one girl gets her head blown off, transparent cherry Kool-Aid flies into the air without landing on anything. That's how bad the animation is.
Sound: I figured that the director couldn't afford quality music, so cue public domain songs. Most of the OVA lacks music, and the music that it does have never really caught my attention. The voice acting is very forgettable.
Characters: So cookie-cutter generic that the only name I remember from this OVA is Takeru, and that's still a generic name. You could easily replace him with any Power Ranger or Tokusatsu hero and not know the difference. None of the characters have any outstanding personalities.
Enjoyment: Are you kidding me?
Overall: Mars of Destruction...needs destruction. *I throw Metal Man's Metal Blade at the DVD, bisecting it*

This is a beginner review, answering questions in the review guidelines.
Story:
FLCL is so crazy and random that the plot is totally irrelevant. Being only six episodes long, it lacks any sort of filler or rushed places. However, the series did not end so much as close itself.
Art:
The characters and robots are rendered in a smooth art style that really fits the series. It also has a South Park art shift. The backgrounds just blended into the work.
Sound:
The characters have voices that really fit them. The rock-out soundtrack is very fitting for the crazy atmosphere.

Characters:
Not very memorable, but still likeable and crazy, just like the series itself.
Enjoyment:
Want something short, sweet, and crazy? Then FLCL is for you! It's one of many anime with fewer episodes, but those episodes are high quality.

A great 49-episode epic with excellent character development.
Story: 10
It starts out as nothing I haven't seen before. It has a white superhero destroying evil aliens that cannot be damaged with conventional weaponry (why is it that guns in fiction tend to be so weak?) while having to gain the trust of humanity to be able to defend it. Of course, the series starts to escalate rather quickly.
Characters: 9
At the start of the series, the main character distrusts everyone else due to being the only one who can fight said aliens. However, over the course of the series, he develops past that and starts to trust
...
his Earthling friends. Every character is special, and all fans of the series remember recurring enemy Tekkaman Evil.
Sound: 9
Two great OPs and EDs that really shouldn't be skipped.
Animation: 10
The series has multiple morphing sequences and non-stop action.
Enjoyment: 10
So much happens in Tekkaman Blade that I never felt like anything dragged on.
Overall: 10
If you've seen Neon Genesis Evangelion and/or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, don't forget this anime. It felt like both of them several times.

GaoGaiGar made the Super Robot genre cool again, but could have been a lot better. It's an anime of two halves, the second being far superior to the first.
Story:
A bare-bones plot. The villains are corrupting humans to create monsters of the week to eliminate negative thoughts, resulting in a lot of destruction. GaoGaiGar and co. defeat these monsters, and after each battle the human hosts turn back to normal. However, the first 25 episodes don't do much to advance the plot, so after the 1st episode, you can skip them and not miss much about the plot (all you sacrifice are the heroes' evolution and
...
the monsters.) Seriously, why do we need fight scenes for the sake of fight scenes (that also drag on for too long?) Then after Episode 27, the fights and story both become a lot better. If only Final Fusion was approved right away, things would become far easier!
Art:
Amazing art style. The characters are all drawn with great detail, the monsters of the week go up in massive fireballs and gorgeous pillars of light when they are defeated, and there is CG that sticks out like a sore thumb (notably in the purification scenes.)
Sound:
You won't forget any of the entire soundtrack. Its quality is up there with Gurren Lagann's and Star Driver's. Unfortunately, the mediocre first half never
shuts up (one of the problems Nostalgia Critic covered in his Magic Voyage review), and would be over faster with less Captain Obvious statements and complaining about Guy's current situations. Combine this with Mikoto's screaming, and you've got another reason to skip the first half.
Characters:
Though the main characters are awesome, there are way too many unimportant characters. Let's see the main characters first. Guy is a hot-blooded cyborg, HyoRyu is an ice transformer, EnRyu is fire, Volfogg is a ninja, and Mic Sounders the 13th uses SpongeBob's rock guitar attack from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Then there's the popular Soldat-J and the mechanoid King J-Der, with a lightsaber, finger cannons, and flaming bow and arrow.
As for the unimportant characters, Mamoru's classmates are a big reason why GaoGaiGar isn't perfect. They get captured a lot (and do nothing about it) and
contribute nothing at all (except Ikumi Kaidou, who becomes important after Pasder's defeat.) Without them, the first 25 episodes that drag on would be much shorter and their monsters would be defeated faster. Who wants a recurring damsel in distress for the sake of a recurring damsel in distress? (I'm talking to you, Princess Peach.)
