This series cab be pretty much summed in a couple of sentences.
Its basically a slice of life/minor comedy/make u feel good story with a touch of fantasy thrown in for kicks.
Despite the title, it pretty much becomes irrelevant after the first couple of episodes, the mc gets overpowered fast and thus allows for her to live an easy life and on occasion uses her op power to deal a problem faster than for you heat up a 30 sec microwave dinner.
The first half pretty much introduced a new character of the week that would eventually end being part of family/group. the second half are a
...
few misadventures that try to up the comedy as well as provide scenarios that values family and friendships.
There really is all that much left to say, these type of stories usually never have much to offer aside from what i already mentioned, that does not mean its bad, its very entertaining if u want a series that does not take itself serius and want something relaxing to watch, especially after a stressful day.
The Animation is probably the real highlight of this series, the studio making it is still new to the industry but you can tell the staff have put their heart and soul into as the animation is so colorful and fluid you can truly appreciate the effort put into it.
The Characters are also fun to watch, Azusa the MC represents the typical overworked character that has gotten a restart and wants a more simple quiet life that people can connect with, not to mention her interactions with others characters is itslef funny as she would be considered the realist among the group.
Falfa and Shasla the two reincarnated Slime girls are the wholesome cute little kid characters that highlight the more family dynamic with the group and are cute and make u feel good when they bring out the more motherly side of Azusa.
Laika the red dragon acts more like the groups housewife with the way she cooks and cleans and her admiration for Azusa could be seen as either both the best friendship duo as well as sisterly love.(some people would also ship those two if that is what you want ok but i dont really see it)
Halkara is well.... Pretty much the idiot memeber who cosntantly brings trouble and is pretty much a clutz and an air head. She is pretty much the main comedy driver.
Beezelbub: Despite the name and reference to old demon lord she more or less a problem sovler for the group and on occassion helps out the group in more troublesome issues and could be considered teh main MC battle rival(not that this show focuses that much on fighting to begin with)
Pecora the Demon lord is pretty much the main Yuri baiter of the show and that is that.
Flatore is the pretty much just the rival of Laika and somewhat of an ignorant idiot. as well again another Yuri baiter(cough nudist Cough)
Rosalie the ghost girl is the rebel but had little interactions after her main ep i feel she was not used much with what we got.
Bottom Line: If u want a simple feel good, slice of life series with light comedy and are having a bad day, this will help you relax and you can enjoy yourself in some simple entertainment but aside from that it does not offer much of anything else.
Score:7/10 Hope it helps in deciding to watch it or not.

Omega felt more like it was a bunch of a Bonus Season than a full fledged series as the charm of s1 was somewhat lost in this one.
I think for me the main thing i feel this way is probably due to these factors:
-The quality of the animation seems to have gotten lower compared to s1(not the worst but certainly a bit noticeable)
-Shera and Rem pretty much took a back seat throughout the season and the others from s1 barely made a dent.
-While there were comedic moments they felt sort of stale, less frequently and more dry compared to the stuff shown in s1.
-The second half
...
of the series even as none ln reader felt like there was a lot of rushing and pace was all over the place. it really needed 12 ep instead of 10ep i think.
Still it was an enjoyable experience, i mean after s1 finished airing, most of us probably never expected a s2 to be made as these shows usually just get that one-off ln promotion season and that is it.
So il take it and i still recommend people to watch it, if they have nothing else to watch and want spend watching a show with a bit of light humor and ecchiness tossed on the side.
7.5/10 overall.

It was corny, a stereotypical shounen as one would expect from the early 00s and had plot holes.
Yet i loved every living shit out of it :)
Well this will give u a basic summary of the plot and there is defintly more to tell that i wont spoil:The narrative of Buso Renkin follows Kazuki Muto, who saves Tokiko Tsumura and is killed by an alchemical monster known as a homunculus. Tokiko, an alchemist warrior, feels responsible and revives him by replacing his destroyed heart with a kakugane (核鉄). The kakugane is an alchemical device which, when activated, takes a weapon form based on its user's
...
personality, forming a buso renkin—the only thing that can destroy a homunculus. Kazuki creates his own buso renkin and joins Tokiko in the fight against the homunculi and their master, Koushaku Chouno. Chouno, who has renamed himself "Papillon".
Sometime you don't need a well written story just an entertaining show to fill your time and have fun with it.
I especially like the main pair with Kazuki and Tokiko, they might have just become one of my fav couples ever :)
The story itself is rather interesting, the fights were done well for its time, although it can feel like it is a little outdated by today's standard but anyone who grew up watching similar shows from that time should find it easy enough to watch.
This was also written by the same mangaka that wrote Rurouni Kenshin, so you can tell that it uses quite a few similiar features as that series but is different enough that it is not carbon copy either
From what i researched, this actually got prematurely cancelled later down the road and that is why it feels kind of like it skipped a few things and plot holes but they still managed to wrap things up quite nicely. It actually developed the romance side of things smoothly unlike say naruto or most other shounen titles
I recommend it for anyone who wants just a simple story with action and comedy and a happy ending.

Every once in awhile you come across an older title and you think this could be a fun watch during your spare time but it actually turns out to be better than you expected and this is one of them.
Story: The story is simple it focuses on the sport of Kendo, Its a traditional sword style sport that originated in japan and uses primarily wooden bamboo swords in a two person or team duel format. We follow a group of student and there instructor who all attend the same highschool and are members of the kendo team and who we get to know there day
...
to day training and comedic adventures.
Characthers: The characters are probably the series best feature as each one have there own distinctive personality and you can relate on a more real world level, we have the instructor Toraji ishida the almost broke but fair hearted teacher and as for member teams we have Tamaki the main female lead and kendo prodigy who is trying to learn the true meaning of the kendo sport as well as to establish real social connections, we have the Kirino the captain of the team the passionate leader and bumbling fool but with a heart of gold that acts as the teams moral compass, We have Miya the complete rookie who struggles with inner violent tendencies and her ability to win but has absolute loyalty and cherishes her love life with her boyfriend, We also have Sayako the person with the ever changing interest and hardship in managing her writing career but still makes time for kendo and than finally we got Satori the ever bumbling idiot and clutz who her struggles in her studies make you question if she will ever graduate but her kendo technqiues are so good it could be her hidden talent.
All of who are unique and offer an interesting variety in the cast and you just enjoy watching them together in all sort of comedic situations but also as the show progresses you see them grow and cope with there own difficulties and struggles for anyone of there years and learn to progress trough with the help of kendo.
Animation: This series as of time of writing is over 13 years old and it has somewhat aged when even compared to other titles that aired around that time but it is still fair, the action sequences in particular during the sporting combats are quite detailed and layered all it needs is a little upscale in BD and it should be fine but dvd quality is still good.
Sound: The opening and ending theme songs were both made by the very studio that produced with the primary voice cast voicing the songs and they really capture the feel of the sport by adding colorful beats and using traditional music in similair fashion to represent the traditional sport of kendo. The rest of the soundtrack is pretty standard just enough to keeps things going smoothly, i dont see any real note worth mention aside from these but soundtracks were not really the major thing for most anime productions anyway.
Enjoyment: Overall i found it very entertaining and it really gives u an insight into the sport of kendo which is not really that popular outside of japan but still has a world wide presence and it give u a good perspective about it, so much that even inspired me to at least give it a shot. The Comedy can be over the top sometimes but no more than the usual stuff and a little laughter is good for you, What i really liked tough is the atmosphere of competitive sporting and the development of the characters as they competited with other teams and individuals, i am sure anybody can at least find someone that might relate as the diverse cast of personalities make it more appeal. I recommend this to anyone who eighter has an interest in kendo, competitive sport or even just looking for a nice school comedy series. Give it a try and judge it for yourself
Hope this review was somewhat helpful :)

In an era were the mech genre has faded and the isekai fantasy genre is thriving here is a show that combines elements of both in order to try and bring a story to watch, emphasis on the word try.
The biggest problem this series has it that put to much focus on the mecha enthusiasm and mech action that everything else seems so bland or just average.
The Story focuses on our main protagonist a mecha otaku who died and is reincarnated in a fantasy world were giant mechs are used to combat giant beasts that plague the land and using his knowledge from his old
...
world use his knowledge to further improve the current existing technology and to improve and fight them while constantly obsessing about his hobby.
That is pretty much the gist of the series, it is a ln adaptation but it is very fast paced that it almost never gives u time to slow down you do not even need to read the original source to realise it is a rushed adaptation,
The characters are mostly one dimensional from the side chraacther to the villains who follow stereotypical roles and cliches, however everything is not all bad.
The animation is pretty solid especially the cgi mech designs there fluidity is blended well with the traditional animation they make for watch, especially in combat scenes.
as i have mentioned anyone who is a big mech fan will truly relate with this series especially the main character and the action scenes make for a great watch and while a lot of the jokes are cliche they can give u a good chuckle and is a good show to watch without thinking to hard.
I recommend this series who is either a mech fan or if they want some sold action and battle scenes i give it a 7/10

I will make this quick, this is either a series you will love or you will hate.
The primary reason to hate it is cause of the animation which is a heavy use of cgi animation and not of the best quality or because the main lead is annoying little brat with a hero complex and it makes you want to just drop it right there.
Well if u ignore those two i think you might actually like this series, the story is simple, It focuses on the entire town of Shibuya being teleport-ed along with the population within it to a different time in the future
...
and they struggle to survive in a different time period when the world is nothing but dystopia controlled by a group known as the revisions who seek to control the world and turn every last living being into like them a revison. The group focuses primarily on 5 students who have a connection to the events that occurred using mech suits knows as puppet strings to fight the enemy and try to get back to there own time.
That is pretty much the series, it is a sci-fi fantasy mech show with a simple plot but nevertheless intriguing story, nothing original but something to watch if u have nothing else to do. it has a bit of comedic moments, some serious moments and plenty of action to satisfy you.
Like i said if u can get past the animation quality and the annoying main lead you can have a fun watch. Give it a try and you decide.

If you had the ability to go back in time in era where the world was on the brink and entire populations dying would you go back in time to prevent that from occurring even if it means that the future that came after it could be erased forever? That is just one of the Dilemma the crew of the Mirai must tackle in this time-travel/Military Story.
It has been awhile since i wrote a review for anything but since this series left a bit of an impression on me and is extremely under the radar i thought i might give some insight so that others
...
might check it out.
So to give a basis of the story, the story focuses on the crew of the Mirai the Japanese naval force newest and most advanced military vessel and as they were conducted a naval training excersize they encountered and anomaly that displaced the crew to travel back in time by almost 60 years into the middle of the Battle of Midway during World war II and along the way rescue a naval officer who should of perished in that battle and thus a series of events unfold that begins to change the course of history.
Well that is the basic premise, i have to say thought it is an interesting take on the genre and whoever wrote this, knew what he was writing as there is a lot of historical detail despite this being and alternate timeline and the fact that focus on heavily on military and political ethics. The thing i find most fascinating is the writers ability to remain quite impartial as to who is in the right and wrong, there is no clear definition and every individual encountered has there own ideas and goals but there characters are well constructed that you can sympathise with each individuals position and decisions so you can just about root for anyone.
The Military combat action is well done and is the military and political dialogue. The Animation is very good it may be somewhat outdated as this was released nearly 15 years ago but not that much and can still hold on its own. The soundtrack is somewhat weak as there is not much of a diverse amount different tracks but it is fine with what was shown. The Sub dialogue is in tune the Dub is somewhat of a mix bag. The Dub has a lot of dialogue that is more in line with what an American solider would sound like or talk and that might be somewhat off putting to hear a Japanese naval officer speaking in heavy southern american accent, it is aright once you get used to it but i recommend the sub for more authenticity.
Overall this is a great series to watch , especially for someone who has an interest in Military, Naval and Time Travel conflicts and i would recommend just about anyone to give this a try. Keep in mind is that while there is plenty of action the story is also somewhat slow paced and dialogue heavy which is fine if you like that sort of thing but if there are people who might find that a bit boring i would not sit this one trough. Give it a try, it is an almost forgotten classic that should receive a bit more attention. :)

I would say this series is definitely the breakout hit anime of 2017. Maybe Not in terms of popularity but definitely in terms of reception. This series has received some of the highest critical acclaim, plus it has been getting a lot of momentum since than and i do not fault it.
It really is a unique series with an interesting story and has a distinct signature feel to it. This is something that is not easily obtainable these days, especially in such a over-saturated industry.
The studio behind it, Kinema Citrus, Which until now has had a somewhat iffy record in adapting content in anime
...
have done an excellent job in adapting it. I give my applause to the animation crew for making the world of Made in Abyss looking so real and alive, the art style really captures the moment like you are seeing this wonderful world in all it's glory.
Like many others have said, the only real downside to this, is that it is left unfinished. However that is to say the adaptation was not good. They did a solid job in adapting it and as far were it could have been chosen to end it, they left in a pretty solid end zone, easy to pick up from where it was left by reading the manga.
I just hope than when enough content is out, they can continue to animate it and with the same team again as they did a good job with it.

Planetes: If i had to describe it in a single sentence it would be like this: This series is Sci-fi series that is closer to reality than other space adventure series that has ever come out.
A lot of sci-fi space adventures series tend to be over fictitious and too ambitious to portray what it might be like to have a story set in space. Not that it is a bad thing but it leaves out what the potential of looking what the future of space exploration truly is.
The story is simple it focus on a group of space debris collectors that work for a
...
company that have a station of operations around earth's orbit. The job is important as even a 1mm piece of metal in space has the potential of causing damage that could cost lives. However the profession is often looked down upon as simple garbage collecting duty. Our main Protagonist Hachimaki is one of these workers and has to content with working in this environment while working hard to achieve his dreams and face the everyday difficulty that comes with the job.
This series is what we would called a a Slice of life mixed with a bit of science fiction elements, however you take the sci fi element out it is like your seeing how the everyday man with a low salary job has to content with the real world from the political components of corporate work to everyday life issues and the struggle of having a low income job.
Howeveer even with the sci fi elements the sci fi is closer to science reality than fiction even more it is now than when it aired back over 13 years ago. As this future setting is closer to what reality will be like at the end of the 21st century. Private companies today are already establishing companies and base of operations to work in space, plans for sub-orbital flights as a means of travel are already in the final stages for commerical uses and within the next 50 years space colonies and moon bases will already be a thing of reality and this series was way ahead of it's time as you would not believe as how much of it predicted has already come true or the more likely will be true.
The Characters are diverse with the main case having different backgrounds from all aspect of life, including race, age, gender and how all of that fits with the general treatment of society and around us. Each characters is non one dimensional and have all different developments, Many of them represent the different scenarios many people observe in life and you can always find someone relateable.
The Animation i would describe it as normal. Nothing too fancy and nothing horrendous but the level detail that was put into this, especially for the technology background that comes with working in space does shine that you can tell it was made with great study of what was back than consider standard advanced technology for space exploration and how that development would be like by the end of the 21st century.
Overall i would give this and 8.5/10 It is a fascinating series to watch. Especially for people who want a more real space exploration adventure series and afe interested to watch something with a focus on the everyday man has to deal and tp study on societal functions. I recommend give this a try at least just once for the unique experience it offers.

Well been putting it off for quite a while, but now i have finally seen it and let me give you my opinion on it.
Series Name: Utawarerumono
Story: The story is rather interesting, for the most part while it has elements of science fiction and fantasy, the majority of the series seems to focus a amenisaic man who becomes an emepror and must defend his nation and people against those who wish to do harm to it so it focuses mostly on war and fighting, at the same time there is background story that focuses on the history of the main lead and the truth of
...
his origin and his relation with the history of the world.
Review: I actually enjoyed this series as i watched it, I would not say that is one of the best anime or has one of the best storied but it is an interesting one and has plenty of action and drama to balance each other out with a little comedic moments in between, did i mention that everybody has animal ears and tails and some wings, now that is interesting to say the least. XD The music was ok i guess..nothing bad but nothing grand either and the animation i would say..it is average...nothing worht while but too bad either.
The Only few flaws i found in it..is that it really focuses a bit to much on jumping from situation to the next,,what i mean is that the pacing really starts to get really fast with shifting from one story to the next and maybe the focus on war conflicts and action were a bit to much..they should have given it more breathing room, to develop the characters..dont get me wrong they had plenty of development but i could say they could focused a bit more on there background.
Bottom Line i would give it a 8/10...it is a rather interesting story and for those who like a little bit of fantasy, action and war drama i would recommend to give this a shot.
I know there is a second season that just recently got released..but i am going to stop for now and wait for the dub to come out....yeah i watched the first season dubbed and i would say it is pretty good,,especially from the time period it was released.
Granted i could watch the second season sub only...it wont be the first time...but since i got a little advance that the second season is part 1 of a two parter and that a possible s3 is coming out when the game that it is based on it comes out.
i mgiht as well wait a little while...if the s3 starts airing before the dub is out than il just watch it before it does.
