fripSide is a Japanese indie pop band. Started in 2002, fripSide is made up of two members, nao (vocal, lyrics) and sat, a.k.a. Satoshi Yaginuma (lyrics, synthesizers, composer, arrangement). They also have many other support members.

On March 15, 2009, nao stated on the fripSide Official Website that she had graduated from fripSide. Sat and nao want to pursue different musical careers, as nao intends to pursue a solo singing career. Meanwhile Sat will continue in fripSide with a new project called, fripside: THE NEXT PROJECT. Seiyuu Yoshino Nanjo will be replacing nao as the vocalist of fripSide.

Yoshino made her debut as fripSide's new vocalist with the single "only my railgun", the opening of the anime, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun.

I have been a huge fripSide fan forever. I found out about them when I saw a clip from Railgun and Only My Railgun was playing. I love most of their songs. I favorites are Last Fortune, Future Gazer, Sister's Noise and Only My Railgun.

That clip got me into the series and my Toaru obsession.

Love all their songs from the anime I watched (Railgun, Clockwork Planet, Schwarzesmarken, Owari no Seraph, Black Bullet, Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet).

Hope they will do the OP of Railgun 3 soon!

I am a "late" person liking them. All the opening "To Aru Railgun" is the beginning that makes me fall in love with their songs and music. I started to find out the origin of the song, and it came from the same singer with some other favorite songs, such as "black bullet" and "planet clock" (though I did not watch this one, but I like the opening song).

All of their songs sound basically the same but they are pretty good.
