Words cannot describe as to how much of an amazing writer he truly is. Ashita no Joe is forever a timeless masterpiece that will be passed down throughout time despite it being unknown. His writing is really amazing as the way he writes characters truly make them lovable(except Jose Mendoza). Joe Yabuki is a very well written character as we see his character progression to become an amazing boxer that would fight the Mexican world champion Jose. Sadly there is no tomorrow as he passed away long ago but thanks to megalo box, more people will be aware of Ashita no Joe and this hidden underrated writer that is Ikki Kajiwara. His stories are so compelling and immersive like never have I felt like I was a part of the audience in boxing matches hoping for Joe to win. I find it very shocking that he considers his life work to be Tiger Mask but deep down us readers believe is Ashita No Joe. He needs more attention and I'm glad more people will start to realize his existence thanks to Megalo Box as he and Chiba Tetsuya made cameo appearances. If he didn't make AnJ the animanga industry would be greatly different compared to today as many great mangakas like Kakizuki Masumi was inspired by AnJ. I'm also shocked as to how well written Joe Yabuki is as who knew such a fictional character from the slums can inspire and spark the minds of many people to strive in their life and to aim to achieve greater heights like Joe has. Indeed an amazing writer that passed away but he shall reside in heaven like Joe and Rikiishi are as well. Thank you for all those amazing years of Joe and hope that your name is forever remembered in time. We the AnJ community may be small but we are an eternal community appreciating all your years being a manga writer.
