Review in progress based on 10 translated chapters. Sakura Nadeshiko is a a series that I picked back up recently once translation resumed. The series has been very enjoyable so far, it's a cute and funny story about a girl who wants to be an idol, her best freind and the girls they meet at while attending an all girls acadamy known for nurturing it's students talents. Unfortunately our lead, due to a misspoken childhood wish, grows male genetilia when certain conditions arouse her. It's hilarious seeing our pervy heroin try to keep it down.
The story is nothing particularly

special so far but it is fun and keeps up a good pace. There is some mystery in place and some shady character motivations in place to keep you reading but this mange is mostly about the comedy and ecchi. The characters are where this series really shines. The lead, Kiraboshi, is somehow endearing and likable, while also being a total pervert. She makes it quite well know throughout the series how much she loves girls and this unfortunate obsession with the female body does not mix well with the unforseen arrival of her magic male member. Her best friend plays off her well and the way they act like a married couple is very adorable. Other Characters include a Class president with a few secrets and hidden cameras trained on on our main cast at all times, her reliable vice president, a not to tsun tsundere who joins the idol group early on and most recently, a song writer who prefers to write for vocal vocaloids with no interest in humans and the third member to join the group, a girl with classical ballet training but severe stage fright. The characters on offer don't break to many molds (other then all being perverts In their own way) but they all play off each other in a very entertaining way, often lewd but often wholesome as well.
The art is honestly the best part about the series. The artist just has a way with facial expressions that really lets each character's personality shine through, the body language feels distinct for each of them. If you like blushing girls acting like perverts, you'll like the art here. The whole series just has a very shiny moe/echi asthetice.
Speaking of ecchi, there's panty shots and bath scenes by the truckload in this manga so it may not be everyone's cup of tea.
