Hoshin Engi is just one of those manga, either you like it or you don't. Its a decent storyline, but sometimes it drags. This manga goes back and forth a lot, one volume is good the next one is bad. The art is decent, but like the story, its nothing special. The manga suffers from huge disapointments, when you think theres going to be a great fight or scene, its ruined by an funny bit. The characters are a bit bland, except for the main villain. As you read the series, the story begins to get somewhat predictable, the main reason I dropped the series.
