This is actually my first review on MAL so go easy on me the manga I'm reviewing is houshin engi which is amazing and one of my favorite manga
Story: the story is about a man (he looks 15 but he's actually about 78) who is given the task of the houshin list which is to destroy all of the evil sennin (powerful humans with special powers) and trap them in the houshindai. He then goes around the world to assemble a army to defeat a sennin army trying to destroy the world. Seems pretty basic right? But there's a lot more going on in

Hoshin Engi is just one of those manga, either you like it or you don't. Its a decent storyline, but sometimes it drags. This manga goes back and forth a lot, one volume is good the next one is bad. The art is decent, but like the story, its nothing special. The manga suffers from huge disapointments, when you think theres going to be a great fight or scene, its ruined by an funny bit. The characters are a bit bland, except for the main villain. As you read the series, the story begins to get somewhat predictable, the main reason I dropped the series.
